I've been a fan of this deli for a while. I genuinely enjoy their sandwiches and you can tell that they care about the ingredients that they use. I want to support small, local spots like this, which is why I've come back multiple times, even after our last order was made incorrectly. To their credit, they quickly and graciously remade it without any hassle. However, with my most recent order, I unfortunately found a hair in my sandwich. It completely turned my stomach -- and my coworker's as well. This is a place we all really like to order in for work from time to time. I called to let them know, and the person I spoke with was kind, apologetic, and promptly issued a refund. They also offered to comp a sandwich next time, which I appreciated. I normally only like leaving 5 star reviews, however, after reading some similar concerns in other reviews, I felt it was important to share my own experience. I understand that mistakes happen, but food safety and cleanliness are not things that can be overlooked, especially when it comes to handling meals people are trusting to be safe and sanitary. I truly hope the team takes this feedback seriously, because the food here is good and the staff has always been polite. But it'll be a while before we're comfortable bringing our business back.

Stopped by Rhineland Deli in Thousand Oaks while my car was being worked on down the street and had such a great experience. The person making my sandwich was incredibly friendly and took the time to tell me about the history of the deli, which has been a staple in the community for years. I ordered their pastrami sandwich -- what they're famous for -- and it did not disappoint. The meat was tender, flavorful, and piled high, with just the right amount of spice. You can really tell they care about quality and tradition here. It's refreshing to find a sandwich deli with genuine good service and great food. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend!

Haven't been here in over three years. The new location is fantastic. Sandwiches are absolutely to die for. The pastrami is my favorite and it had been three years that I've been thinking about it. Very friendly staff and nice new professional owner.

This was my first time here and I'm glad I checked it out. I was happy to see that they offered Dutch Crunch because the only other place I know that offers it is The Sandwich Spot in Newbury Park. This location is on TO Blvd with ample parking and is a small business. I got a large $14 smoke turkey sandwich on sourdough. I had to pay extra for cheese which I was surprised to discover because I've never had to pay for cheese - avocado add on, yes, but for cheese, it typically comes with it. When my order was ready, I was surprised at how small it looked but when I got home, the meat stack was hefty and my hubby and I were able to split it and get full. After eating it, I can't say I'm craving to come back anytime soon but if I need a quick lunch, I'll add this place to the rotation.

If you are searching the Conejo Valley for a classic LA-style thin cut pastrami sandwich, look no further than the Rhineland Deli! It's a small, unassuming sandwich shop with outdoor seating on East Thousand Oaks Boulevard, near Westlake Village. The service is fast and friendly. I ordered a small hot pastrami on a french roll with pickles and mustard. They kindly offered me a crunchy Dill pickle on the side. Yes, please! The pastrami is moderately seasoned, savory, and delicious! I'll tip my hat to them, it's much better some chains that claim to be "world famous".

This was my first time visiting the deli and I will definitely be coming back. I ordered the turkey bacon and avocado sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the bacon was crispy, and the avocado added the perfect creamy touch. The sandwich was made just right and tasted amazing. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome right away. You can tell they care about both the food and the customers. A great experience and highly recommend trying it.

No gluten free bread sorry, but we do offer salads and can do a romaine lettuce wrap instead of bread.
