I wish I could rate them 0 stars as I am so frustrated, as I ordered a sandwich (#13) that got literally 1 slices of ham and half strip of bacon, I added veggies to it so at least has that but the cold cuts are almost none. I also ordered an additional Italian sandwich which was made with the normal amount of meat so I decided to give them a call, I took a Pic of the #13 and sent it to a number I was provided by the store and I received a call from the Manager....when I received a call the manager mentioned that this is the normal mount of cold cuts for the sandwich and that thwre was nothing he could do for me....which made no sense as I have ordered many times before at this store and different locations and this is the first time I received a sandwich that has barely no cold cuts...Who will pay $12.97 for a meatless sandwich if not a vegan sandwich....Definetely there is a lot of opportunities for this store and management

Take a look at this $11 Sandwich. No meat and they did not follow instructions not to add lettuce. My son picked this up so I did not visit the restaurant personally. Will never go back here.

This is the #12 BEACH CLUB. Random onion.I didn't ask for and 1 slice of turkey. 1 slice!! I can't believe it.

Can't believe this you get a $13 sandwich and it comes with 1 slice of turkey and a random onion you didn't ask for. Unbelievable. Do your self a favor and don't come here. Please don't waste your time or money. Only positive from this location is the kind girl that took my order.

Was craving a good size sandwich and Jimmy John's never disappoints! Decided to place an online order through their app. Customized my sandwich and everything was correct when received. The bread is my favorite part as well as the add-ons such as peppers, oregano, and extra shredded lettuce. Paired excellent with the bootleggers sandwich. Will definitely return soon.

Only 1 slice of turkey, they say they weigh there meat but they don't.

Don't go to the moorpark Jimmy John's unless you want only 1 piece of meat on your sandwich. This isn't the first time this has happened, this is every time. Even reached out to corporate and they blew me off and said they weigh the meat every time. Great company!!! Won't go back.

Verification of my visit and showing no tomato's on either original recipe nor the refund reprint.

Follow up to Review two days ago. I was finally able to get ahold of someone at Jimmy John's corporate offices after going to voicemail all day yesterday. Spoke to a customer service representative and she was unable to give me any straight answers so I asked to be transferred to a Supervisor. Waited a short time and got a Supervisor on the line. Asked her if the name of the owner of the Moorpark store was named " Sal" because in my phone conversation with " Sal" he told me he was Manager, Supervisor and Owner of the store. Well Jimmy John's refused to even give me the owner's name but did confirm to me in Emails back to corporate office was NOT the name on the Emails or I am assuming signed by. So I received a phone call from " Sal" who claimed to wear all the hats including Owner of the franchise yet gives me a fake name in dealing with a customer experience at the Moorpark Restaurant on New L A Ave. This to me is very odd considering this "Sal" has a business within the community but won't actually use his real name on a phone call. Also, when you call into Jimmy John's Corporate you are required to give first and last name as well as complete phone number for them to contact you back however when you ask for the owners name pertaining to who " Sal" represented himself as they won't give you anything. Again strange that we the customer must give complete information yet they do not reciprocate by even verifying a name I was given or even the owners first name to indeed establish he was who he represented himself as. I asked the Supervisor what if I had not wanted to provide complete information then what? Her response was " That's your right to do however they will not contact you back regarding any issues if it's not left. Again odd to me that a full name is required for a call back. Customer Supervisor for Jimmy John's said there was nothing they would do towards "Sal" for being rude to me and handing up on me as his way to solve a customer issue and she even as did "Sal" have no concern over a sandwich I ordered having tomatoes put on it which I have a food allergy to and could have resulted in a serious problem. All in all thru my calls Corporate Office takes the position that the way " Sal" is allowed to deal with a customer issue is fine by them which means neither Jimmy John's nor " Sal" are concerned with customer satisfaction yet wants us to spend our money there and support their businesses. When I ended my call I asked the Supervisor if it was alright to use her name in this review and she said " I guess so. " So I asked her again and she said "she would prefer not." So in respecting her privacy ( As Jimmy John's should do by just asking for a first name and phone number ) I am leaving her name out of this as she requested. Privacy needs to be protected!!!!! I know even though I've " been banned" by Sal from this restaurant I would never set foot in that restaurant again nor recommend it to anyone who's in the area to go. There are plenty of other sandwich shops to go including Jersey Mike's, Subway and Dan's Super Subs in Woodland Hills that will provide you excellent and caring customer service and great value and quality food for the same $18.00+ I paid and get the order correct!!!! Please see attached receipts from restaurant on July 29th and my sandwich was not to have tomatoes on it and YES I did receive a full refund and the reprint again shows no tomatoes on the sandwich. Funny thing is when " Sal" called me he couldn't verify when he actually was contacted by Corporate and also was asking me if I was complaining about a refund. Never once did I ever tell Corporate that in fact I told them they had offered to remake the sandwich which I refused but had been given a full refund. To me it just shows " Sal" isn't concerned with customer satisfaction when he doesn't take enough interest in the complaint sent to him by Corporate AND never once apologized for my terrible initial visit. Again not interested in making it right.. At least in my case. Have a wonderful day everyone and eat wisely and healthy.

    Turkey and cheese sandwich.

First time customer and I will NOT be returninNot a good value AT ALL! Paid $7 for barely ONE slice (if that's what you want to call it) of meat on this turkey/cheese I got for my son.

I usually come here get the same thing but I got an Italian sub it was so good. I forgot which one was it but there is such quality food here. They have chips and there subs are unique different from other sub places. I am actually going to favorite that sub I will come back with the review of that specific sub when I go back again

Visiting Southern California and had to make a Jimmy John's stop. By far, best chain sandwich joint. For those of you who complain about not having hot sandwiches, that's not a sandwich joint. Suggest the Spicy Italian, add those jimmy peppers to whatever you order and make sure you grab a pickle bucket to go because theirs are delicious. Sandwiches always taste great, bread is always amazing. Sandwiches aren't drenched like at Jersey Mike's and ingredients aren't nasty like Subway and Quiznos.

Ask the Community - Jimmy John's

Is the restaurant reopening? The restaurant next door has a hand written sign "closed next few days" but no real details and the phone is disconnected, and sounds like it's been more than a few days.

JIMMY JOHNS IS BACK UP AND RUNNING AGAIN

Is this location closed? I've been trying to go there for the past week, phone is disconnected and I can't find any info anywhere! I need my Jimmy Johns!!

There was an arson fire on roof of Kohl's. The smoke caused sprinklers to go off in Mission Burrito and Jimmy John's also. Mission Burrito re-opened but then bailed. JJ is still there.

I came here to try out California Bun, an eatery that has harnessed an interesting (long overdue) concept, to package portable food. Here they prepare snack sized bites (or a little more) of favorite food fancies, enveloped in a daily fresh baked round brioche bun. The store is high ceiling, spacious and large, with ample space to dine in or carry out. It is a mom and pop joint, that is slowly but surely, beginning to make a mark. On the main wall, elegantly displayed, are all the many enticing varieties, for the day. My visit was designed to take something to go. The conundrum here is, what to order, because there were so many inviting choices that were talking to you. I finally decided to select three of these evenly browned and differently topped buns. The El Sabroso (Egg, cheddar & jack cheese, bacon & Jalapeno salsa, garnished with Cheese, bacon & jalapeño). The Roadside Burger (Seasoned ground beef, grilled onions, white American cheese, & secret house burger sauce, garnished with Cheese & bacon). The Mac Daddy (Creamy mac and cheese with a cheddar, jack, and parmesan cheese blend, garnished with Panko bread crumbs). So whats the verdict? The Mac Daddy was my least favorite. In comparing the other two, the Roadside Burger seemed to have the higher of (inside filling/inside bread) ratio, as compared to the El Sabroso. However, the latter is the most attractive bun on the outside and overall, contains a good mix of flavors and slight kick. Any food with a visible Jalapeño is a magnet, for me. Still, this concoction needs more of the egg mixture, to achieve the right balance. In general, all 3 buns were soft, had a nice texture, bread taste and chew. Service here is warm, inviting, friendly and informative.

The pastrami burger and onion rings were the highlights for me. The onion rings were super crispy with a nice, light batter. The burger hit the spot too. I ordered the pastrami dip, and this is how it's supposed to be done. Not dry, not chewy, not some sad excuse for deli meat. This was juicy, tender, stacked high, and absolutely dripping with flavor. Every bite hits hard--rich, savory, and perfectly balanced. And the bread? Holds together like it actually wants to be part of the sandwich, not fall apart halfway through like a soggy mess. Now let's talk about the onion rings... because this is where they flex. You order a "large," and instead of some tiny portion pretending to be generous, they hand you a brown paper bag absolutely PACKED with crispy, golden onion rings. Not greasy, not limp--crunchy, hot, and seasoned properly. This is what a large is supposed to look like. Other places should be embarrassed. And the service? Fast, efficient, no nonsense. No attitude, no confusion, no standing around wondering what's going on. These people know exactly what they're doing. Orders come out quick, everything's hot, and the whole operation runs like a machine. That's how you handle volume without sacrificing quality--something a lot of places clearly can't figure out. No gimmicks. No trendy nonsense. No tiny portions dressed up to look fancy. Just big, bold, properly executed food that actually delivers on what it promises. Meanwhile, other spots are out here charging double for half the portion and calling it "premium." Stop it. This is the standard. Bottom line: If you want a real pastrami sandwich, real portions, and service that actually keeps up--go to The Hat. If not, go waste your money somewhere else. I'll be back. And next time, I'm getting another bag of those onion rings--because clearly, one isn't enough.

My wife ordered a little different, as well. While she got the steak plate, side salad and rice with a pork wonton side, I ordered the Steak veggie bowl with extra steak to compensate for the thin slices. Additionally, I also wanted sides of the wild salmon, two sides of shrimp, and two - half avocados with no rice. Both our meals were based / seasoned in the House WaBa ( Teriyaki ) sauce. Her steak was tender, tangy, and plentiful, while the rice had a soft, moist texture. My steak echoed my wife's flavour profile with the addition of the vegetables which had a nice, fresh healthy crispiness. My salmon had a flaky and delicate texture flavoured only by the house's thick, sweet and tangy WaBa sauce. Loved that the shrimp were quite large and seemed marinated in a sweet soy touched with a hint of garlic. Ending my meal were a couple half slices of fresh and creamy avocado. This was so good that it just may become my main staple every couple weeks. So glad WaBa Grill offers separate side protein plates that one may add to their order. It really made the difference tonight !! The staff are also so willing to make every visit a great experience! This location is nice and clean and always having a lovely aroma about it . The reviews were quite solid so we thought this would be an outstanding place to eat - and we were not disappointed. We arrived before 10am and the small, nondescript family-owned spot in a retail strip mall was about half full. Right away, you could smell some amazing, authentic Mexican spices in the air. We were seated quickly by the friendly young woman. The service was very efficient from the start. After looking over the menu, my girlfriend and I were drawn to starting with some amazing Cafe de Olla in these great, authentic colorful ceramic mugs. I opted for Grandma's Chile Verde (Pork cooked in green tomatillo sauce, poblano chilis and Swiss Cheese with the option to add fruit, tarot tots, hash browns and/or egg whites. Served with corn or flour tortillas). My girlfriend went with the other option I was interested in: Chilaquiles Asada Burrito (Carne Asada, chilaquiles, guacamole, queso fresco, sour cream and black beans, served with the aforementioned breakfast sides). Our food was delivered hot and fast within 10 minutes. Right away, the freshly-prepared entrees looked amazingly eye-catching. The first bites of my slow cooked pork were outstanding. Fall off the fork juicy, each bite was filled with amazing spices and flavor combinations that any abuelita would be proud of. The hash browns were also soft on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside. The egg whites and corn tortillas were a nice touch to make my breakfast fulfilling. My girlfriend's burrito was five-star, excellence. I was able to snag a few bites and the carne asada, like my pork, was tender, moist and delicious. The flavor depth of the chilaquiles sauce was simply out of this word. Amazing. Overall, this place is a home run. By 11am, the place was filled with a small line of people outside waiting. With limited hours, daily until 2pm, you'll want to grab a spot early at one of the tables inside or small number of seats outside quickly. The staff rotated and checked on our table at least six times, making sure the food was tasty and the Cafe de Olla refills hot and fresh. Plenty of parking in the strip mall out front, with one gender neutral bathroom in the back (which was clean). Overall, Jarro's offers up some of the best Mexican classics for breakfast in the area, and the service is top notch. The prices are all quite reasonable for the quantity and quality of items. The menu also offers up some more traditional American breakfast options (pancakes, waffles etc), but my recommendation is to try the Mexican classics. The spices and flavors will make your corazon happy.

It was hard (annoying) to place my order as their speaker wasn't working. The employee made a joke and told me something like, "I am having trouble hearing you because the speaker is older", or something like that. I did appreciate him making light of annoyance. He asked me to come up and I could order really quick via the window. He problem solved and I liked it! I ordered a chicken quesadilla and a chicken wrap thing from the "Dollar Menu" - I think? Can't give it a zero so one it is. This place is the worst del taco I have ever been to. They got…read moremy order wrong multiple times. The last time was the last straw. I ordered 12 chicken tacos with no lettuce for the neighbor kids. All 12 had lettuce. Called to complain and they never answered the phone. Took 18 calls for someone to finally answer. She gave me her name "jasmine" and said to come in and they will make it right. My wife went in and they refused her!!! Called again and after another 20 calls, manager said he would call his manager and call me back. NEVER CALLED BACK. called for the last 3 days and they must have blocked my number because no one will answer my calls. Terrible.
