Jersey's is one of the quick sandwiches places I like ! I don't have one near me, so I don't often go as there's other options closer by. I was in Simi for work and needed to grab a quick bite before my next meeting . Jersey's came through with a yummy provolone turkey ,Mike's way on parm bread! No drink or chips for me as the sandwich is filling enough for me . IT was sooooo good!!! Great customer service. Clean shop! Quick service . I was out in less than 10mins! I would be stop by again !!

The 2 lousy pieces of bacon they give you on a sub that has bacon.

They are good but so damn cheap. I get the #8 which has bacon on it. They only give you 2 pieces and if you want more it is $2.50 for 2 slices more. They need to actually put more on it. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP!!!! Considering what they charge for them.

The wrong sandwich. Chicken cheesesteak, NOT the Chipotle cheesesteak that we ordered.

We ordered a Chipotle cheesesteak (Giant) to go. When we were on the freeway eating we were wondering why it didn't taste right. It's because it was CHICKEN. This was after they tried to give me "Jenna's" order instead of "Jan's" order. Very disappointing. The shop in Valencia never gets it wrong.

The Dutch crunch bread type was very interesting and a must try,if you have never had it. I had everything on it. Mustard, mayo lettuce, tomato, pickles. Not sure what else was in it other than avocado but it was amazing. Customer service was much to be desired and the dude with the long dirty blonde hair definitely needs some lessons with explaining kindly rather than just pointing at a sign. This dude shouldn't be at the front line taking orders, who knows how much business he's losing as a result of his public social skills. Placing an order. Speaking with this guy was a very unpleasant experience. The owner needs to record the interaction and reactions of the employees and customers to see what's going in. The food? Fantastic! Couldn't recommend a better place to order a sandwich from. Service not so much. Would have given at least a 4 ,but again customer service skills is lacking here. The sandwich maker with the brown short hair is really nice and pleasant to interact with. Maybe ted Nugent should watch how he interacts with the public. Update: Mgmnt got back really quick and remediated the issue with the employee and hopefully improves over time. Sometimes, that's all it takes to get the full 5* stars, thanks Steve!

I decided to go with The Lake show sandwich, cause I love the Lakers and I love salami. In addition to salami, the sandwich came with their bomb sauce, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. The sandwich was served hot and it was absolutely delicious. With every bite I experienced so many flavor notes. It was savory, a little sour, vinegary and also a little sweet from the ripe veggies. The yummy salami was perfectly complemented by the other ingredients and each bite was perfect, especially with the sourdough bread that I chose for my sandwich. For salami lovers, The Lake Show sandwich is top notch and a must try! The customer service was solid and the spot is pretty casual and has some tables i side for dining in. Will come back again when in the area!

Just inside the door it was obvious to get a place to sit you better be seated "now!" Everyone was eating, tables were covered with food, it looked great. Our order was taken, the person taking the order was quick, to the point and was not asking how my mother was doing. We were there to eat-not socialize. The receipt was ripped off and passed over with a flick. No instruction given like 'they'll call your number' or 'you pick up over there.' In the next 5 minutes if you paid attention for about 20 seconds you learned how things worked. It was busy, plates looked great and the aroma inside the place was something else. Our food came quick, we sat and began to peel open our pastrami dip sandwiches. Oh, they smelled great. They looked great. The meat was delicious, melt-in-your mouth tender. They did notice us! They like us! I could not imagine how much better a pastrami sandwich could have been. The bread was very good too-you know the Earl of Sandwich was onto to something way back when....the combination of meat and bread was great. The Hat has numerous other locations in the LA area...if you want a beyond generous sandwich you must stop and order the pastrami.

The pastrami burger and onion rings were the highlights for me. The onion rings were super crispy with a nice, light batter. The burger hit the spot too. We called ahead to put our names in. Big location, lots of seating. It gets loud and busy. Easy parking in a lot out front. We were a group of 12 and they amazingly were ok with splitting up our bills per couple. My bf and I split Brent's #13 (pastrami) and the Italian sub. Both come with sides - we got potato salad, fries, and onion rings. The portions are massive. The pastrami was really good and there was a nice amount of pastrami in the sandwich. Pickles and coleslaw come in the sandwich too. I'd say it's probably not great to save it as leftovers as the bread will likely soak up the liquid from the coleslaw. The steak fries were good. The Italian sub was huge! Hard to eat because the sandwich is stacked so tall. I added some Dijon mustard to the sandwich which was a nice addition and it was pretty good but I liked the pastrami more. I didn't actually love the onion rings that much. The breading they come in is really grainy and I didn't find them that tasty. Portions are huge so pace yourself; in hindsight we probably should have gotten one sandwich and maybe one smaller item. We both were in serious food comas all day after this meal. You pay up at the front when your waiter gives you the bill, right across from where they store epically large looking treats like massive slices of cake, cannolis, and cookies. They're fun to look at!

If you were having a special occasion, we would go to three or more different places to order the catering. I consider myself, not an expert but a decent judge of authentic Italian food. This is the spot I choose for meat lasagna and for their meatballs. I haven't tried anything else yet. We ordered their meat lasagna for a birthday party. We picked it up on Saturday afternoon at 3PM exactly when they said it would be ready. They wrote the directions on top of the cover and we followed them exactly as written. The lasagna was so good that our guests were all pleased. Many asked where we got it. I was proud to tell them I'd made the right choice by going the extra mile to Italia deli. We had 20 guests, everyone had a piece and some of our friends took a couple pieces home. We still had leftovers to put in the freezer. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Low and behold, we were very pleasantly surprised by the variety and the quality and the service. Maria was our server and she was amazing and I can't tell you how she made the experience that much more positive because every answer to our questions were yes, and I'm sure we can do that. She brought out some bagel chips and ranch dressing and pickles to start with and Man if that doesn't wet your whistle and make you want to order everything, you're not doing it right. We ordered a variety of things a couple of Ortega corned beef sandwiches and a turkey sandwich and a pastrami sandwich. We paid for our orders and then landed in the bakery area upfront. Of course, all of us had to take a little something home to our husband's because we were feeling quite plump and satisfied to not share the experience with our spouses. We walked away with some blueberry pie and an eclair and some muffins and quite a bit more. We're already planning our next trip. We will be there this weekend. And as we sit here, midweek, contemplating all of the delicious options we can take advantage of, we are trying to convince ourselves whether we should go there on Thursday and Friday and Saturday while we are in town. What a delicious dilemma to have heads off to the people that run this place and make sure that the quality still goes. To be honest with you, someone wrote in another review that they were surprised at this place wasn't busy. I hope this review gets out there and people figure out what they need to do...
