I wanted to share my disappointment regarding a catered order. I was given the attached veggie sandwich option, and honestly, it was extremely underwhelming. The sandwich consisted primarily of several slices of Swiss cheese and a few pieces of green pepper on bread, with very little effort put into making it feel like a complete or thoughtful meal. I understand that catering orders can vary, but this was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to let others know. Receiving a sandwich that looked this sparse and unbalanced felt more like an afterthought than a quality meal from a company with Jersey Mike's reputation. This order was called in a day ahead, but when picking up the order, it was made the day it was ordered supposedly. It took around 15-20 minutes for the order to be remade, but they did give a free sub voucher which was nice and good customer service. I had an Italian sub with onions and pickled jalapeno slices on the side. This was alright. Like prior experiences at other locations, the sub just seemed to be missing something. I passed here once to grab a drink, but the place looked good and the smell was nice enough that it lingered on my mind until I decided I'd come here when I passed in the area again. Being from NY, there are no Jersey Mike's near me and initially I thought this was a standalone business, but found out later it's a chain. For NYers like me, think more Blimpie than Subway - but this was overall better than both in my opinion. Inside is clean, spacious, and the staff were very friendly. They have a nice line system from cutting of the meat and bread, to dressing it to the cashier. That was 4 staff members and all 4 were friendly. I ordered my usual roast beef sub. Bread was soft and fresh and the finished sub was just fine. Roast beef was fresh also, which is important to me. If I had a complaint, it would be the prices. They're a little steeper than they should be. A traditional deli is actually cheaper for the same, if not better, offerings. Parking lot is spacious and finding a spot should be no issues and it shares the space with other businesses. While I go to a traditional deli for a hero, an option like this when there is no decent deli is also nice. Obviously because of where I live, it's doubtful I'd run into too many Jersey Mike's locations unless I happen to pass one while in another area - but it was good enough to where it's an option for me now if in the area, whether this one or another one. read more

We were becoming fans of Jersey Mikes until last night when our sandwiches had barely any meat on them. My son said he was eating bread and lettuce as we ordered him a reg size turkey and swiss with lettuce and mayo. They literally put 3 very thin slices of turkey or could have been 2 slices by the look of it. Lots of lettuce and they forgot the mayo. My son said he was eating bread and lettuce. We also ordered a reg roast beef and provalone same deal very little meat and a lot of lettuce. We ordered a reg chicken chipotle and that was not what we got.. we got some sort of blt type chicken sandwich so not what i ordered. I myself ordered an original italian with let tom onion and mayo.. again no mayo. The meat was ok because it is hard to not put enough when it is multiple meats. When the store opened it was awesome but is now falling off. It was becoming am at least once a week visit spending no less then 45 to 50 bucks but i doubt i will be going back. While the kids working were very pleasant perhaps someone should teach them how to make a good sandwich. read more

The best Jersey Mike's ever! And I love Jersey Mikes.... The friendliest most helpful staff possible, very clean, many workers providing fast, accurately, excellent service. I had to find a wi-fi spot to watch my daughter's college soccer game on livestream as I was at an event far from home. The nearby Starbucks that I drove 20 minutes to in anticipation of using their WiFi locked their doors and only had the drive thru available!!!! Even though there were half a dozen customers sitting inside it. I was in a panic that I would miss the whole game. I order from Jersey Mike's at least once a week. Unfortunately this visit I felt like my sandwich was lacking. I had the number 6 which is Roast Beef with Provolone cheese on a wrap. The sandwich had only 1 slice of cheese on it and minimal Roast Beef. I am usually very satisfied with your products and have no problem paying a premium price for them. Today I did not feel I got value for my money. I feel ripped off. Please do better, we all work hard for our money and I hate wasting it on a sub-par product. read more

On 3/6/24, I ordered online as usual, went to pick up sub, staff was very friendly. Got home (20-minute drive), went to eat my sub, it was incorrect. I could not eat it with the toppings that were put on, even though the online order had the correct items listed, had to throw it away. I contacted the company through their web site, explaining the situation. They advertise 48 hour response time, I never heard from them. I emailed a couple more times giving them a chance to respond, nothing.... That is why I am now posting on here, after giving them plenty of time to make it right with me. I guess the lesson learned is to open up the sub while there to make sure they followed the order, not to assume they did their job correctly. At least the staff was nice! read more

Nice place. The turkey and roast beef are very fresh ... and the employees are friendly. I ordered the Club Supreme and it exceeded expectations ... I will try one of the Cheese Steaks next time. First time eating at a Jersey Mike's and was pleasantly surprised! It was clean inside, the staff were quick and friendly. The sandwiches came out fast and we're prepared well. Sigh. Just typical. Sparta FINALLY gets a decent chain restaurant and they're not very good. I'm so tired of dealing with this. Not sure why it happens but we have, like, TWO good restaurants in town. Jersey Mike's isn't one of them. Anyway, Jersey Mike's....not so great. They're pretty stingy with the meat and today I went for the last day of the "Month of Giving" (which is great!!) and it took TWO HOURS to get TWO sandwiches. One hot, one cold. Come on.....that's ridiculous. There is NO reason why it should take TWO HOURS to make 2 sandwiches. There were easily 25 people waiting for a 1/2 hour to an hour for pre-ordered sandwiches and the line for ordering was moving quickly. Common sense tells you to make sure your entire staff is working on March 31st and common sense tells you a better system is necessary when folks are waiting for HOURS to get sandwiches. Subs are good but their system doesn't process gift cards efficiently. I held up the line because the computers froze and then my gift cards were wiped clean. Had to pay with my debit and get back to work. So I walked out on two gift cards I had. My choice. But internal mistakes cost customers money and time. Not going back anymore. read more

I liked this place when it first opened but it's gone downhill. The two men who I believe own (or at least oversee) the place used to be a constant presence. The sandwiches were well made and the place was clean. You can see a drastic difference when they're not there. The staff does not make you feel welcome or interact like the owners or the original opening staff would with customers. I used to feel welcome and like my business was appreciated. The last few times I went the staff - who always seem to be changing - made me feel uncomfortable. Most seem overwhelmed with their respective task and do not listen to the customer when they order. Last time I got scolded for saying I didn't want certain veggies on my sandwich and the staff member proceeded to argue with me claiming that I did indeed ask for them. There's a lot going on in my life, but I can remember what fixings I ask for on my sandwich. I feel like they hear what they want to hear and make the sandwiches how they believe they should be made. (For the record, my topping choices are not odd: lettuce, onion, hot peppers and oil/vinegar.) Like other reviews here and on Google claim, the sandwiches are expensive for what your get. You definitely don't see the business it once had. Hoping the owners see this and the other reviews as Jersey Mike's was a nice treat for the community and I would like to return if the quality of the product and customer service improves. read more

There is nothing Jersey about Jersey Mike's. It is just a sad attempt at making Subway feel a bit more upscale, but in truth it is identical, except for the prices! (Why would you base your product on something that is widely known to be terrible in every sense of the word? Fire-retardant bread anyone? Who's here for the tuna, hold the tuna?) Dry, spongy bread and slimy, low-quality meats and toppings are the recipe. But don't despair. Awkward ordering and pickup will make you feel just worthless enough to prepare you for a sad, wilting, wet sandwich. There is no sense of any kind of organization beyond the bar where you're working with the "sandwich" maker. Customers are positioned randomly all over the place - blocking the entrance doors, no line, no idea who is picking up, who has already ordered or who is waiting to order. Just another company overspending on advertising falsehoods while exploiting a bunch of underpaid teenage staff. I suppose someone in a region where incredible local delis do not exist (I'm looking at you Midwest and South) might think JM's is okay, but if you live somewhere where you can get a real sandwich with high-quality ingredients, Jersey Mike's should never roll off your tongue. Whether they ask you how your day is going, or memorize your order so it's already done when you walk in, there's always a guarantee of a positive experience when you head into Jersey Mike's Sparta. Been to many Jersey Mikes locations, this one was bad, very crowded because staff was very slow compared to other locations. To speed things up I guess leaving a few slices of meat off the sandwich is the way they chose to go. All the tables were dirty, many people opened the door looked at the line and left like I should have. Unfortunately there are no real sub places nearby and this location should be passed by. Rude inattentive staff, poorly made overpriced sandwiches. Worst Jersey Mikes I've been to. I've been there 3 times and not once has it gone well. My most recent experience I placed an online order for pickup. Then something came up and I would be running late to pick up my food so I called in to the store and asked to please have my order put in the fridge to keep it fresh. I got there over an hour later and my food was still sitting on the counter. And I still had to transport my sandwich from their store to my destination. There were also around 10 or so other to go sandwiches placed on several tables near the register. One customer was having a hard time trying to locate his order which was found on a separate table from the rest of order. Very disorganized and issues with safe food temperature. Suggestion: Go support a local deli and do not bother with this location franchise. read more
