    Chipotle chicken flatbread
    Sam M.

I ordered from here a lot while on a long business trip. There aren't many choices for delivery in the area, and Panera seemed like a safe bet. I think I've tried everything on the menu. I like this location. Manager is kind, and they were always accurate with my orders. The bread bowl Mac and cheese comes with a big bread bowl but very little pasta. It was actually too much bread so I ended up throwing most of it away. The teriyaki bowl was surprisingly good and filling. I appreciated the generous serving of chicken. Flatbread pizza is ok, chipotle is best of the bunch. The Margherita has a weird taste, a bit sour and bland at the same time. I liked the salad, particularly the Asian sesame dressing, but the wontons are chewy.

    Very little filling

The food was deliciously fresh. I love their bread that was used to making my sandwich. They do have a gas fireplace to help the ambiance.

Curdled Chai Tea is unacceptable. I cannot understand why you would serve that and think it's ok.

Walked past The Farmer's Daughter (the 'Sister' Shop to CC), and entered the store. The door had the classic bell, and I was greeted almost immediately. Through the seating area, I got to the counter. Though I had seen multiple menus online, there were some staples on it, and some that rotate in and out depending on the season or availability. Ordered the "Prime Suspect," sliced prime rib, melted cheddar, caramelized onion jam, arugula, pickles, and horseradish aioli on a toasted roll. Also ordered the Lobster Bisque, something told me they were gonna do it right. Soup was piping hot, creamy, chunky, and had piles of lobster. Wow. The sandwich was an absolute unit, and flavorful to boot. Momma ain't raise no quitter so you know I took it down, but it had me in the first half, not gonna lie. Staff said they've been open for a year and change, and I was just sad it took me this long to find it and give it a rip. Great atmosphere, unique items, creative items, and a great experience. Spun the wheel and got a discount (you'll know if you go). Wow. Check it out! #MajorLeagueGrubbin #NomNomNom #TimeforaNAP

I visited Hayek's at about 12:30 which is normal for my lunch time and I ordered a roast beef and turkey sub. I was charged 15.00 plus tax which is normal. I picked up a few additional items as well. When I unwrapped my sandwich I was so disappointed with what I discovered. I've never had a sandwich this thin from Hayek's before and I've been shopping here for over 25 years. I will still shop there but I may be done with sandwich's. I'll include a picture of what 15.00 gets you these days. Disappointed is the best way to describe my experience today. There was tomato on the sandwich as well. Take that away and the meat could not be seen.

While speaking with him, I brought up the fact that a flashing light in Hayek's triggered a seizure in me recently. He explained that he has to hire someone offsite to change the lights, and that cost's money and he's never heard of a flashing light triggering a seizure in anyone before. I had a medical incident in the store, which was just dismissed by a manager completely. I still came back to the store to purchase dog treats and they were disgusting. The manager disregarded any of my concerns and I am extremely upset. I used to love this store. I will never recommend it to anyone again.

Once you enter through the store, there is a sign to wait to be seated. The place has a nice and bright rustic vibe to it. I really liked the decor and table setup. Even the napkins had a rustic vibe. Started off with the potato scoop ($16) which was my fave item. The potato was shaped like the Fritos scoop chip, and the cheese dip that came with it had chunks of cheese in a melted cheese sauce. For my main, got the pulled pork sandwich ($16), which came in a pretzel knot bun and creamy slaw. It was solid meal and very filling. Other mains ordered were the roast beef "pho" style sandwich ($16) which I had a bite of and it was good and not what I expected thinking roast beef. Roast turkey ($16) was warm and also tasty. Each of the mains came with a side of potato salad. I will be back to try the sloppy Joe and their dinner meals. I highly recommend this place if you want tasty, high quality meal for a fair price. * Highly recommend making reservations on weekends * Street parking * Good service
