On my first visit over 5 years ago in Westchase, I left without a purchase for 2 reasons. First, the cost seemed too high and 2nd the meats had funky names that I knew did not exist. Something like Proscutini, really, looks like boiled ham. Years later, post pandemic, the costs are more relatable and people seemed to like the product. So I tried it. As sub shops go, Jersey Mikes is a good, solid choice in that realm. Nothing spectacular, but a fresh, clean, appealing, straightforward flavor. Nothing to complain about as far as the product. "Cut Fresh" is their hook, and it seems to work. As far as cost, it's more than comparable product at other joints. While I like the product, cost keeps me walking out and going elsewhere. read more

Jersey Mike's is a great place if you want a sandwich without a wait. The meat is cut in front of you so it's fresh and the bacon is crispy. The parmasean bread is typically hard so i wouldn't recommend. On Sunday Kids eat free from 3 pm to 8 pm and includes a cookie and drink with an adult combo. I love their food, some of the best subs I've ever had and I greatly enjoy getting Jersey Mike's. I don't know what it is about this location, but they always mess up the order. We usually will get two sandwiches and we'll be lucky if one of them is right. We usually end up just eating what we're given, despite it being either the wrong type of sandwich or having something we don't like on it. The weird part is that sometimes, it would be something that doesn't even normally come on the sandwich ordered. We talked to the establishment many times about this. For the first two or three times, we chalked it up to bad luck, but afterwards it was just ridiculous. I don't know if they thought we were trying to scam them or what, but they started to get defensive. Like I said, I really do enjoy their food, which is why I kept ordering for so long. But after the third consistent mistake, we started to call back and tell them. They comped us for half the meal and gave us a coupon for like $5 off, which seemed kinda measly but at least it was something. Then the next time, they tried to blame the mistake on us, saying we said it wrong. So we made sure we spoke clearly and consistent on what we wanted, and then they said it's because we were calling in the order ahead of time and there was something wrong with our cell quality. So we went to online ordering and after that, they just said tough luck. We went there again some time later hoping for an improvement, even going inside to order in person, but we were in a rush and didn't check the order til we left. It was wrong again and we decided that it was best to just stop visiting this location. The food is great though. We got hot subs and they were never cold and the chicken philly cheese is very delicious. Just be warned that the order might come out wrong. read more

I always a fan for Jersey Mike. They are just few sandwich store has the capicola ham. This is a spicy ham that has some kick of spiciness in it. I usually have them add extra meat with the ham. Then top with lettuce and tomato. I have the mikes way spice including salt, pepper, red vinegar and oil. Lastly have them top with two strips of bacon. That will be my lunch. Their sandwich is the best that I like. Although the local Cuban sandwich is great, but I pick over Jersey Mike's sandwich. You can get a combo with drink and chip. I like their southern sweet tea. You can cumulate point for free sandwich with your home phone. The service is quick here. They also has numerous hot sub to select including the Philly Cheese Steak. While at the counter ordering I was shocked to see the floor in the kitchen area was trashed and had a rather large chunk of cheese on the floor. Never seen it like this before. Normally, at a chain restaurant I don't expect to be WOWED, but this Jersey Mikes location is great. Everyone at my office orders from here a lot and we don't have any complaints. Our orders are always ready, prepared exactly as ordered and fresh. The manager and the staff are very friendly as well and they even remember us and our orders when we stop in. It's very clean, well organized for COVID operations and smells great when you walk in. This is by far my favorite location. I always order the #9, but with the shortage they've been out of roast beef so I've switched to a #8. Still delicious and still hits the spot! You gotta get your subs on the Rosemary Parm bread, it's the best! read more

OK -so we ordered two subs to go- a veggie and Italian. Both with the works. We waited for our sandwiches to be made. There was just one other group of folks in the place. They were already eating. There was no line. It took about 20 minutes for the subs to be prepared. OK -well We weren't in a big rush and figured the guy was putting some extra TLC in the prep that we would taste and appreciate later. We ate two bags of chips waiting for our subs. No biggie. We grabbed them finally and jumped in the car. I was disappointed to find that my veggie sub had absolutely nothing on it except for a few veggies no extras as asked, no mayo or oil or any dressing at all. Just dry bread and an anemic filling. Same with the Italian. It had mayo but filling was not as expected. or as we ordered. No turning back to complain and really not worth it because again it's just a subs place. So there you have it. Food was good and service was quick but I have to deduct some starts for value. My wife and I came in ordered two sandwiches and we both got drinks. They discontinued use of fountain drinks due to covid. Which IMO is a little extreme but I'm not the business owner. After checking out I see that the bottled drinks were almost $4 each!!?? You pay less than that at a resort hotel. Makes me feel they are taking advantage of the situation. Should have at least charged us the same as the $2 fountain drinks which are larger and you can refill. Needless to say I probably won't be back, too many other options at a better value. read more

I love Jersey Mike's! I actually stopped going to Subway ever since I started coming here. The meat is fresh and the bread is soft. I love their different sub options and I usually get the turkey and provolone sub. The prices are a little high for getting just a mini and regular sub but I think it's worth the taste. I went today and had a hot California chicken sub or whatever it's called, #31. I took it home and 30 minutes after eating, it gave me the craps!!!! 8 hours later at 12:30 am I can't stop, I am sick and will probably miss work tommrow if I can't stop. I won't be back. My favorite spot for lunch. Always fast, courteous service with a smile. Fresh bread, meat and Mikes Way is always the best way.

The place has somewhat tough parking but the service and food are excellent. Ordered the meatball subs, it's a huge sandwich with meatballs the size of apples. They will ask what type of cheese you want and if you want it toasted. These guys are good at what they do. Overall, they are pricey but you get good food and good service. Seating is very limited because its not the biggest restaurant space. Been to this location numerous times and I often order the Giant Philly, which is somewhat consistent quality. Sometimes it's just too greasy. Other locations have more seating, it just seems to vary from place to place. 4 stars. read more

The verdict is still out on Jersey Mike's subs. I tried their Philly cheese steak with onions, peppers and of course cheese and was pretty disappointed. The ratio of onions and peppers to meat was way off. There were more vegetables than meat. And then the ratio of filling to bread was once again way off with there being much more bread than filling. The sandwich filling itself had a very good flavor in the meat was not tough. The onions and peppers could have stayed to be cooked longer and the bread was pretty good. I wouldn't say it's the best submarine type roll I've had but it's definitely not the worst. They were pretty busy and I guess I had to wait about 20 minutes to get my sandwich but, it wasn't overly busy that the quality of food should have suffered. I've heard a lot of great things about this place and was really looking forward to having a Philly steak hoagie here. Philly cheese steaks are one of my favorite sandwiches and my favorite restaurant that served them recently closed. So I am definitely on the lookout for a great Philly cheesesteak in the Tampa Bay area. I heard that I could find it at Jersey Mike's Subs, especially the one in Carrollwood and frankly I was very disappointed with what I received. The service was fair, nothing to write home about. Pleasant but not trying to sell you additional ingredients or fries,chips, drinks or anything to go with your sandwich. This is bad for the restaurant of course because they're out to make more money and they want the customers to spend more money. I also am removing a star because I feel the quality in the portion of the food did not meet with the price that I had to pay for my sandwich. I feel the price was too high for the meager amount of toppings I got inside my sandwich. IT was basically half a sandwich instead of a full sandwich. Yes, I am disappointed. Yes people continue to rave about Jersey Mike's Subs and tell me to try again. I probably will return and try it one more time but, I'm not going to make any promises on that. In the meantime I'm going to be on the lookout for a great new place to go to find my Philly cheesesteak that I so dearly miss. What's a girl to do? I reallly enjoyed this Jersey Mike's, it's clean, the staff are easy to talk to and the food is really good. I always enjoy the Big Kahuna or the Italian, but both MUST have the pepper spread on them, otherwise they get really boring for me. I also like adding tons of jalapeno's, banana peppers and pickles, not a good sandwich without those. Also got a sub for the wife (had a 2/1 coupon that was well worth using). Will definitely come back here if I'm near it, they have great food and not that bad on pricing either. read more

Kind of disappointed in this location. Love Jersey mikes. The place was clean when I walked in, which was refreshing. But, the slicer was so dirty when they made my sub. I let that one slide. But then, when they were ready to put my toppings on, they placed my sub on a dirty board with oil and vinegar all over it. (I usually get that stuff on the side as I do not eat right away) and then to top it all off I watched them throw lettuce (from the dirty board) back into the lettuce bin!!! There were just too many unsanitary mistakes for me to continue going to that location. And they weren't even busy during this. Talk about the sub coming in clutch! I had a lunch meeting with clients and we had an issue getting a lunch order set up. Last minute I order from jersey mikes online. Super simple it took less than 5min to order for 25 people! The pickup time said 1pm but I needed it for a lunch at 12! I put in the notes that I would call the restaurant when it opened to request that I could get it at the earlier time. Well within a minute after I clicked submit they were calling me to let me know that they would do their best to have it ready by 12 but promised me it would be ready by 12:30. I walked in at 11:55 figuring me coming there early could hopefully speed it up. To my surprise most of the order was ready! They were working on my order while dealing with the lunch rush. I've had Jersey Mike's a few times now and I've only tried 2 sandwiches. I can't seem to switch to a new one because they are so delicious. If I'm in a cold mood I get the super sub. For hot I get the chipotle cheesesteak. Both are delicious. I get it Mike's way and usually just add mayo to the cold sub. It taste so much better than their competitions.
