Freddy's was supposed to open a franchise in Sierra Vista but then backed out. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a peppermint shake. I dont normally order a shake with my meal but peppermint oreo sounded intriguing. I had the shake inside while charging my phone. I appreciate places that offer AC outlets at every table. My shake was good but I didnt care for the crunchy oreo bits. My chicken had bacon strips which I fed my dogs. It was otherwise tasty as well. The place was clean. The red decor dominates. I was shocked at the bill, though. My regular sized shake was over $7 and the sandwich close to $10.

If you go inside, you can see the food in front of you and pick what you want. Service isn't a big part of the experience here, but I appreciate that they always tend to be efficient. Especially compared to other fast food restaurants, that can be a hit or a miss. Ambiance (3.5/5): I mean, it's a fast food joint, so what do you expect? Pretty much the standard experience. Typically clean. Typically comfortable. Your choice as to whether you want to dine in or do takeout. Drinks (3/5): Pretty much your standard selection of soft drinks and iced teas. Food (4/5): The iconic orange chicken. It's not healthy. But it's delicious. And they do it well here, especially when you get a batch that's just off the wok. Definitely go with it as one of your entrees. I've tried a good number of their entrees over the years. Orange chicken is by far the winner. Most of their other options are meh. The only other one I like, and it is healthier, is the teriyaki chicken. They will slice it in front of you and you'll get a teriyaki sauce packet on the side. As far as your side, you can go with white rice, fried rice, or chow mein. And they will put a fortune cookie in your bag. For what it is, I love Panda Express. It's good value for the money.

The reason I mention it is that almost every pickup order I've had has had something missing, incorrect, or prepared differently than ordered. The food itself is consistently great, but the accuracy of the orders has been consistently disappointing. Unfortunately, you usually don't discover the mistake until you get home. My advice: if you're picking up your order, take a minute to check everything before you leave. It'll save you an extra trip and a lot of frustration.
