Not off to the great start as oxon hill... no question of why I need gluten free bread... no changing gloves between the prep...overall the start is a lil shaky compared to my other experiences and that saddens me. Slight correction... my kid loudly said no gloves so that got a touch better as the order went on...but I appreciate seeing the teamwork and the young lady mastering the grill (reminds me of my Jerry's sub days), but this experience didn't give me the joy I usually get from Jersey Mike's... especially when I finally unwrapped my sub and home and found it more like a Sloppy Joe than a Jersey Mike... Overall the location was clean, it is the larger of the footprints I've seen. Things were well stocked and people were sitting in to eat...but alas not my usual 4 for this franchise.

    Very burnt bacon pieces

The burnt bacon is really getting out of hand and is going to make people sick. I received an Uber Eats order for a sandwich with a bunch of black stuff in it (see photo). Turns out it was burnt and charred bacon bits, crumbled (see photo) in the sandwich. I barely post on Yelp anymore but this really made me spend 10 minutes looking for my yelp password to log in and warn people. Two stars because the sandwich was okay after picking out all of the bacon. It's not a BLT without bacon though ...

Our friends picked up a large to go order of subs. They were wonderful (and apparently more expensive than in NY). Our party tried nearly every flavor on the menu. Hubby adored Jersey Shore's Favorite. There was a generous serving of meat. I liked The Veggie. I am not a giant fan of peppers so I pulled them out. There was just enough Mayo to be delightful. Several friends liked the Tuna Fish. The orders are nicely packaged and everything was fresh. The meat lovers got several generous slices of meat and not little pieces, like Subway does. The rolls were nicely seasoned and delicious.

Jersey Mike's has become one of our go to places. My wife enjoys deli sandwiches very much and the quality here is consistently high. This shop produces such great sandwiches compared to other places around town, that literally the day she gave birth to our child, and felt like she could have deli meat again, I was sent on a mission from the other side of the City to get her a sub and bring it back. We have had cold cuts, cheesesteaks, and chicken cheesesteaks--everything was excellent. The staff here is standout too. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic to be helpful, and seems happy to be there. They seem like they have fun working together and they do a good job. We have always been happy with our experience and will continue to frequent this Jersey Mike's.

First time in a Jersey Mike's. It was ok - nothing great in my opinion. I was nearby and needed something quick to eat. I ordered a regular size chipotle chicken sub and for almost $10, not worth it. Not sure how long they've been here, but the store itself looks really run down and dirty :(

Urine all on the toilet and floor.

I wasn't anticipating a nice dining room to dine in, but there it was so we did. Although it was uncomfortably warm in there. Must have been something wrong with their A/C because they couldn't possibly always have it so warm, especially in the middle of summer. I ordered The Clevelander and she had The Mel. And of course we hit their awesome pickle bar! Why doesn't every deli in the universe have a pickle bar?! The sandwiches are piled high with meat and so delicious. Several complaints about mine, however: the menu said it comes with mayo and provolone. It came out with no spread at all so I was brought mayo packets to apply myself, which is way less than ideal with a huge already assembled sandwich. And the brand new server (on her second day there) came back after we ordered and asked if I wanted cheese. I mentioned I thought it listed a cheese on the menu, which she confirmed. But then I ended up getting charged extra for the cheese that my sandwich was supposed to come with. Kind of lame. And while my friend was asked if she wanted hers toasted, I was not. I didn't think twice about it until mine came out toasted, which I neither asked for or wanted. Lastly, the sandwich was also supposed to come with "fresh cranberry spread" and if there was any on my sandwich, it wasn't detectable. But I decided not to even mention it because I didn't want to deconstruct my sandwich a second time. Regardless of these hiccups, I would certainly consider returning.

The service is good and you can place your order at the counter, self enter the order or place the order with the waiter. The menu is extensive and I saw many people enjoying the eggs to order. I just did not care for a big breakfast.

I returned nearly after a year and happy to see improvements in packaging. Love foil wrapping because it does not leak and holds the sandwiches better. I heard good things about their sandwiches. My go to is normally Mangialardo's on Pennsylvania Ave in SE DC or Carl's Subbs on Rhode Island Ave in NE DC. I think I will stick to both of them next time. The staff was very friendly and helpful to me as a first timer but the sandwich was totally disapointing! NOT worth it, at all. I ordered a 9 inch capicola, ham, and cheese sub on the hard roll. The roll was very good and fresh but I couldn't taste the cheese or meat in the sandwich because there wasn't enough of it. I tasted the bread, the toppings of lettuce, tomato and onions. I decided to deconstruct the sandwich and found exactly 4 very thinly sliced pieces of meat and 2 very thinly sliced pieces of cheese as pictured clearly in the photographs. I also noticed that the they have different prices for the same type of meats. For example, they have a $29.99 per pound Capicola and one for $9.99 a pound. I asked which went on the sandwich and of course it was the cheaper one. That wasn't surprising and getting my sandwich back to the office. I decided not to eat the rest of the meatless sandwich and just take the loss. I wouldn't come back nor would I recommend a friend to try it

It's primarily a take-out shop with a dozen or sandwiches and a few sides. The Truth veggie sandwich was bursting with flavor with sweet potato, crispy eggplant, juicy portobello mushoroom, and creamy lentil aioli stuffed between whole wheat bread. It was so good that I didn't even miss not cheese! Initially, I thought about adding cheese, but glad I didn't and stuck with the classic sandwich. By the time I made it through a couple of bites of the 2nd half of my sandwich, I was stuffed and didn't have any room or a craving for chips or fries that I typically get. It was a simple sandwich with quality ingredients made well. Crossing my fingers that the veggie The Truth sandwich stays on the menu and looking forward to coming back to try other sandwiches!
