I don't usually leave negative reviews, but in this economy, every dollar matters, and this experience was disappointing. I ordered the Tom Turkey combo and asked if I could add cucumbers. The employee, Steven, told me there would be no extra charge. I then asked about adding provolone cheese, and again I was told there would be no charge. While looking at the menu, I noticed there was another sandwich that included what I wanted, plus extra provolone and avocado spread. I mentioned it, and Steven actually recommended that I stick with the Tom Turkey combo because it would be a better deal since the cucumbers and provolone would be added at no charge. I trusted that advice, placed my order, and paid. When I got home, I discovered the sandwich didn't even have the provolone cheese on i! To make matters worse, my receipt showed I had been charged an additional $1.50 for the cucumbers and cheese that I was told would be free!! It's not about the $1.50--it's about being told one thing, charged another, and then not even receiving everything I paid for. Jimmy John's, you may not care about losing one customer, but you've lost this one. I'll take the hit and spend my money elsewhere. Ordered two sandwiches today for me and my mom for lunch and I had a great experience here. This is the second Jimmy John's I've been too and I like this place the most. First, my order was correct and they didn't add anything that I didn't order which is great. I ordered online through the app and my mom after work picked it up since she works near there. Both of us enjoyed our sandwiches, she got the toasted #10 and i got the classic #1 the pepe. The bread was soft and fresh and all the ingredients were delicious! My order was ready and waiting for me as I walked in. I picked the Turkey Tom to be safe. The original series is pretty basic, no frills sandwiches . The sandwich was ok. First off, I will say that this is my favorite sandwich shop. The problem is, I didn't get the sandwiches I paid for. Google AND the JJ app says they close at 9 PM. I made a mobile order a bit before 7 PM, and showed up 30 min later to find it closed. The employee cleaning up wouldn't even talk to me about refunding money. So now I have to go back tomorrow to try to get a refund. Depending on how that goes, I may edit this review. As of right now, though, I'm out $40, and none too happy. This is really a comment on the pickle witch that has recently been advertised. A COMPLETE WASTE Of MONEY!!!!! I bought the pickle witch because I love pickles. I was expecting at least the size of pickle you get at the Pomona fair, but this was just the standard pickle from the pickle jar at a deli. One small cheese, one small turkey slice and maybe two salami tablespoon of lettuce and I think onion was in there. What makes me mad is I purposely spent $9.39 for this picklewich but bought a flat of chicken thighs, almost 4 pounds, for $6.78. I really blew my grocery budget for my one splurge. Jimmy johns is convenient for a quick lunch. All the sandwiches are cold but are still delicious. Most of the time I order the same sandwich, tuna & provolone sandwich. I really like the thick layer of cheese in the sandwich. They have their own brand of chips and cookies. My favorite are bbq chips and triple chip cookie. Our office building is not far from this Jimmy John location. We have been to the store for lunch, and we have had them deliver sandwiches to our office. We have always had excellent service and great sandwiches. The bread, meats, and vegetables are always fresh! I read the complaints about "rude" people who work there. I have never seen an employee acting rude to any customer, in fact, the opposite. The employees have always been polite and professional, eager to make your sandwich the way you want it. When we have sandwiches delivered, they are always quick to get the order to us, and the delivery people are always in a happy, positive mood. We will continue to get our sandwiches from this store.
