it has been years since i last had jersey mikes... was excited to have JM here in Westport. halfway into eating my sandwich, i bit into a piece of plastic about 3x2" in size right in the middle of my sandwich. i may have eaten some plastic before i discovered because i was starving and ate the first half of the sandwich quickly. ughhhhhh see the picture i have attached. this is what i pulled out from the middle of my sandwich. i returned to the location to request a refund. i was met with resistance about refunding my chips and the tip that i left. the store manager was arguing that there was no problem with the chips. so i should pick around the plastic and my half eaten sandwich to finish the chips that was intermingled with my sandwich because they didn't have plastic in them??? how anything other than a full refund could be contemplated is beyond me. read more

Jersey Mikes food was pretty good; this sandwich shop that had a nice array of options. What I liked about it most was that the meat was freshly cut. They take it and slice it right in front of you so it's cut fresh. Also, they don't hold back with their toppings. When you say you want pickles, they give you a lot of pickles.... WHICH I LOVE. They offer you three different sizes of sandwich with GIANT BEING THE LARGEST. I got the regular size, which was enough for me with a side of chips and a drink. I would definitely recommend someone visit this place for a nice sandwich. While it's great and delicious, it also wasn't anything SUPER special, which is why it receives a rating of 3 stars, it was A-OK. We don't have a jersey mikes in my immediate local area, but I look forward to returning someday to try something else on the menu. They also have a CHERRY PEPPER mix which is pretty good! read more

This location has extremely friendly people and it is always cleaner than the Fairfield or Milton location. The lettuce is always fresh and never brown like it's counterparts. Income here all the time. I always get the same thing. I get the #7 mini and baked chips. Soon I'm going to try one of the grilled chicken sandwiches. I fully recommend this place. read more

My dad and I came in with a coupon for a free regular sub. Kernah was our Salesperson, and she was extremely friendly and helpful and THE highlight of our experience. She informed us that she could apply our coupon for 50% off a giant sub, so we ordered 2 giant subs to go. She was very courteous and warm, which is just so hard to do during the pandemic, but Kernah handled it with ease. She was the perfect combination of friendly, efficient, and service-oriented. If you mention how you want your sandwich, the staff always listens and tries their best to get it right. Was fun to go to at first, but losing interest fast. Yesterday we saw service as very slow despite 4 people behind counter and only two customers. Had the vibe people did not Ike working together. Use to be spotless, but that is fading fast, with dirty tables the norm. The food is ok, but very expensive and skimpy on sandwich ingredients. While already having high prices, you get jammed for a tip as you pay, with the cashier staring at you as you are prompted by a screen to give a 10 or 15 or 20 percent tip. Really awkward. What happened to the staff? Came several times not long after they opened & was really impressed with good food and fast, professional preparation. Today, two guys behind the counter totally ignored customer. Took 15 minutes to get a sandwich. The roast beef was very rare, and totally delicious. The bread is still better than other sub shops, but the staff right now needs a serious whack upside the head. After 2 or 3 visits, I decided it wasn't worth trying jersey Mike's again. When I want a "sub" I always go for a classic Italian sandwich with oil and vinegar. I like the freshly sliced meat; much more appealing than Subway, in that sense. But I'm sorry, I have to say, every single staff member is trained to DUMP oil and vinegar on your sandwich when you ask for it. (I say they are trained to do that because they must be; every single staff member does it.) Seriously they squirt it back and forth for what seems like an eternity. I have never had a more soggy sandwich, oil dripping down my hands while trying to eat. Just completely ruined. And yes, the last time I was there I politely said "please, just a small amount of oil and vinegar. Not nearly as much as you usually add." And it was like in one ear and out the other.
