I love jersey mikes but disappointed with this location. I've made pick up orders a handful of times and they ALWAYS forget to remove the tomatoes even though we ask them to specifically in order. I normally wouldn't be nitpicky but my family deals with severe acid reflux/gerd and are highly sensitive to tomato's. The tomato juice soaks up into the lettuce etc so it's not a perfect fix just to remove them. The location on Oleander has always gotten right for us so we might just have to stick to that location even though this location is closer. read more

After placing my phone order I arrive at the restaurant at the time my sandwiches were supposed to be ready. It was not too busy, but they did have a few customers. When I arrived I told the person behind the counter that I was here for a pick up and of course gave my name. He was not personable, or really even friendly. I waited patiently till my name was called and then paid for my order. At which point I took my order home to enjoy dinner with my family. Upon opening my sandwich I immediately saw that it was not made as I had requested. And I have been clear. Not the end of the world. However, I then attempted to call Mike's nine times over the next 20 minutes to try and get another sandwich prepared. Nine times. At which point I just drove back to the sub shop and asked for the manager and my money back. The manager was the same person as earlier behind the counter. In short. He could care less that my order was prepared incorrectly, that I tried several times to call with no answer, or that I had wasted my time driving back and still no sandwich. There was absolutely no attempt to make anything right. I would not expect a free sandwich. And I do understand mistakes happen. However, in this time when restaurants are suffering I would think management would understand the value of a customer and at least hold a common courtesy, dare I say an apology for all the time I wasted. I can say with certainty I will not be at Jersey Mike's again ever. I have a basic expectation for courtesy and respect. It's too bad this business could not collect this low hanging fruit. read more

Great freakin' sandwich artist. First off, the guy was nervous and I'm pretty sure it was one of his first days, but he jumped right in and got to work. The way he put the toppings on was perfect, the attention to the amount and obsession with making it a neat and clean sandwich was one of someone you'd expect making your sandwich. Ive been here many times. They are usually pretty good, quality has gone down recently, probably due to staffing turnover. Last visit, I ordered two sandwiches. First sandwich was a #16 chicken steak, regular size. Second sandwich ordered for my small son was another #16, mini sized. They refused to make the second sandwich because they "don't make mini's on the grill." I have ordered that sandwich for my son many times without problem. Great service here at this specific location. My family and I come here quite frequently. The price tag for the food is extremely cheap (especially for the amount of food you get). Our family is well-known to the staff and they're always super kind to us. If you're looking for a recommendation as to what to get, I recommend the Philly- you cant go wrong with this one. The sandwich was good. My issue was the customer service. This girl that was working was very rude. I've never been to Jersey Mike's before so I had a couple of questions and she spoke to me like it was an inconvenience to her to have to actual help a paying customer. Then, after I ordered my first sandwich, I said I had another order to which she replied "what do you want". Then walked to the back without saying a word, while I still hadn't finished my order. She finally came back out as the nice young man finished making my first two sandwiches and proceeded to ring me up. I told her I would like to order a third sandwich. We eat here four times a month and absolutely love the cornmeal baked bread. I think it's their secret to success. My kids order number 7 and I get the Jersey Shore favorite Mukes way w mayo and they are always fresh. The staff is very helpful, efficient and they always get the order correct. I have been trying to watch what I eat lately and since I'm on the road a lot for work, Jersey Mike's was the perfect lunch option for me today!! The staff in this jersey mikes is always pleasant, friendly, and will create your order exactly how you want it! The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that today it seemed they were a little short staffed which caused the line to be rather long and cause more of a wait even at 2:30 in the afternoon. Service at this location is great! We go here a lot for lunch and staff usually remembers us and has a prediction of what we will order. I get the club supreme or BLT wrap. My son loves the meatball sub and my husband gets a turkey sub. Overall subs are good. read more

On a cool evening in February (Valentine's Day to be exact) 3 other sophmore girls and I were on our way to a school dance downtown. We hadn't made any dinner reservations and as it was the illusive Feb. 14th, there was not one place that we could go. Jersey Mike's to the rescue!!! After an embarassing incident involving a rocking chair sitting too far out in the middle of the sidewalk, we made the decision to make JM's our dinner of choice for our girl power evening. And I have been in love ever since. Their subs are so meaty...gotta have my protein... and it was here that I discovered that I don't hate onions and banana peppers as much as I thought I do. In fact, I now love them. And they actually make fresh bread twice a day as opposed to some other sub place I know of who serves bread until it's hard enough to bang nails with. I'm leaving off a star because about 6 months back they changed their menu. They used to have the normal numbered menu. 1 through 15 or something. Now they have most of the same choices, but with random numbers. It goes like, 14, 3, 9, 38, 2. the strangest thing I've ever seen. Apparently it's some sort of corporate thing. I am a door dash driver. On Friday 07/17 I got an order for the independence BLVD. location. When I arrived there was a already a long line waiting. There was also another door dash driver, who has 2 orders for this location. She just gotten her first order and we're still waiting on the second one. A young guy came up to me and asked what the name on my order was. I gave the young man the name and he went inside. I thought he was checking up on my order.After about five minutes somebody else came out and asked me again what the name of my order was, I gave the person the name and she also went inside. Nobody ever gave me any information on where my order was. I was there for 45 minutes but the young guy came out again and told me and the other door dash driver There our orders fell on the floor and they just found them and they're working on it now. Also the young guy came out before he told us that our orders fell to the ground. He came up to me and asked me if he could see my water to make sure that I was in the right location. I'm not doing the job and I know where I need to go. He basically treated me like I did the mistake not them. In the meantime my customer had to wait at least an hour to get their food.I really find it very unprofessional. And now I'm really thinking about declining orders if they come from the independence Boulevard location! read more
