Typical Panera restaurant, you always know what you are getting. Stopped here for lunch one day and wanted something different. I did look at the menu on line since when you walk into a Panera , the menu can be overwhelming. I decided on a Mediterranean Bowl; cilantro brown rice and quinoa, grape tomatoes, Kalamata olives, cucumbers, hummus , a lemon tahini dressing on the side and Greek yogurt, no feta . It came out quickly , for my side I chose an apple instead of bread. It was a nice mix of rice and quinoa- nice flavor and not mushy . It was a very pleasant alternative to a lettuce salad. The tahini dressing was a nice alternative to oil and vinegar. When you walk into any Panera , they are all the same and you know what you are getting , no deviations to their food. read more

Very disappointed. Gave me the wrong sandwich. Had to wait to get it replaced. I just took it home. Husband had finished his. Service took too long. Servers were great. Too expensive for the sandwich I got. Have been going to paneras since one of the first stores opened in Lincoln Nebraska. I think this is the last!!! Normally great hot pizza. Tonight it Was horrible. Tasted like a cancellation that had been sitting around for 2 hours and the heated a little and served. Asked the manager if it was fresh and his answer was " yes. That's our standard quality ". Very disappointed. Their pictures always look enticing and delicious on their website. I ordered their strawberry poppyseed salad with chicken and a half a sandwich-Napa almond chicken sandwich. I paid $5.79 for a half a sandwich and barely got 2 Tbsp of chicken salad - not even enough to have chicken salad in every bite. Certainly doesn't look like their pictures. I have a "sandwich" with barely any meat and soup that tastes like dog food. This was my second attempt at this Panera.

This Panera location never gets the order correctly... and their bakery goods are so inconsistent. If you call and ask the manager to help resolve the problem, she's so... condescending about it. You can tell she does not care which is sad because you go to places like panera because you know that no matter which location you visit, there is consistency with product and service. There has not been a single time in my last 7 orders this year alone where the order was correct and the food consistent. I hope corporate takes a look at store and gets it in better shape. read more

It was a dark and stormy night...wait, no,, it wasn't. It was a gloomy and drizzly day at work, so soup seemed like the best choice for lunch. Panera is at the top of my list of restaurants that have soup, so I ordered the half and half. Half order of their yummy creamy tomato soup with crunchy croutons plus half a roast turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato sandwich. I added a summer fruit salad which was crisp and fresh. Placing an on-line order with them is quick and painless. Surprise! The order came almost 10 minutes before promised. Did I mention the sandwich bread? Don't tell, but I dunked some of my bread in the soup. Shhhhh. I ate the proof before I could take pix. Mea culpa. read more

This place can be inconsistent; sometimes wonderful, sometimes not. Their online ordering doesn't always function, either, & rewards usually don't show up-- you need to ask. Tip: ask the cashier to repeat the order back to you; otherwise, you may end up with Salad dressing & extra quinoa when you ordered NO salad dressing & extra greens! read more

I picked up 3 salads, just as ordered except I would have liked the banquettes in some paper or a sandwich baggie instead of just tossed in the pickup bag. I had to change my order which I did talking to someone at corporate, cancel old order and restart new one. NO-ONE picks up at the store, at night or during the da....that part is frustrating. if I didn't know how to order on line or have a computer!!! there's no way I could have ordered. read more

This restaurant is probably my favorite restaurant in Wilmington. We always go here when we don't know where to go. The service is always polite and quick. We usually come here and get our food in around 5 minutes-if not, it's around 10 minutes. I definitely recommend this restaurant read more

While I am easily pleased and never want to leave a negative review, this just was too far past my level of understanding. I work in the restaurant industry, and pack to-go orders left and right all day long. I understand that things happen and that sometimes an item or two may get missed when packing. However, I lack the same empathy when it comes to food that is packed into an order and it is wrong. I triple check everything I place into a togo order; make sure the modifications are correct, things requested to be taken off or placed on the side, and I always, always put extra sauce, napkins, and utensils. Now, that's just me. But what I find rather disturbing is that the Panera employees do not even check the food before they place it in the bag. I ordered the You Pick 2 option: broccoli cheddar soup and the chicken salad sandwich. I customized the Half Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich to have NO tomato and LIGHT lettuce. I got home and opened my sandwich to find a teaspoon small scoop of chicken salad buried under an entire head of lettuce (picture inserted below). Due to this being part of the Choose 2 option, it was only half of a sandwich to start with. So now, my half sandwich was then cut into another half. I paid a ridiculous amount for a small bowl of broccoli cheddar soup & 1/4 of a chicken salad sandwich (and 1/4 is a generous statement!!!) Further, I couldn't go back because the Panera closed for the night once I had returned home and realized. Disappointed is an understatement, hangry happens to be an understatement too. CHECK YOUR TOGO ORDERS!!!! IT IS NOT HARD!!!!! Further, if someone asks for light lettuce, let this picture be a guide: THIS IS NOT LIGHT LETTUCE! Starting to think the cook is on drugs & mixed up LIGHT LETTUCE for LIGHT CHX SALAD. Not sure what the mishap is but get. it. fixed. and I want a real CHX SALAD sandwich. Just a simple order of 2 Asiago bagels toasted with cream cheese, utter and 2 large coffee. I was really pleased that the associate would take my order, as I've never used the kiosk. However, there was no one in front of or behind me. The order was correct, but the the coffee urn I wanted was empty, I mentioned this to the associate. Someone was out quickly but I discovered that only the hot water had been replaced. I went to a different person to ask again for Hazelnut coffee. It took a out 10 more minutes. This has seemed to be an issue at others I've gone to as well. In fairness to the staff, I don't know how they can tell the volume in the urns, as there no longer seems to be a clear tube to show this. While I understand, it is still an irritation. Someone needs to address this with their equipment, as a customer dissatisfaction issue. At least it is for me and I am certainly not going to join the coffee club as a result. The bagels were however wonderful. Toasted just right. A staff member also kept cleaning up tables and the restroom was also clean. read more

I stopped by for a quick snack in a hurry. I never eat at chains and have eaten at a Panera in the past due to work reasons with being unhappy with the food. This was the only place around that I could stop at quickly so I ordered a cup of soup. They had daily soups and then their originals. They asked if I wanted chips or bread or fruit. I said chips. My total was $5.99. I felt that was extremely pricey for a cup of soup from a fast food chain . I have absolutely no problem with paying high prices for quality soups. For instance Fish Bites restaurant has a bowl of homemade clam chowder for this price. I pulled up and they had bread in the bag. I told the lady I asked for chips and she turned away and then came back with chips. No personality. Then, I pulled out the cup and took a picture of the size. It was more like a Dixie cup. What am I missing about this restaurant that people love so much? The soup did have a good taste but nothing more than maybe a $3.00 taste. read more

Service is great and fast. Food is pretty pricey but it's worth it for the quality. Try their soups it's delicious.

I've always loved panera, but have been wildly disappointed in their service in recent months. I often place a rapid pick-up order and pick it up on my way to work, so I don't have much time to double check that everything I paid for is included. Almost every order I have placed in the past 6 months has either been missing items or been a completely different item. Panera is not cheap, so don't waste your money at the Mayfaire location because you will likely be disappointed as well. read more

Corporate: please come out and fix this location! Each time I go it's another issue. Today I placed my first "rapid pick up" order for a breakfast sandwich to be ready at 9:30. I arrived at 9:33 and found it wasn't on the shelf. I then waited in line to talk to the cashier who then tried to track it down on the computer. She couldn't figure it out and had to get a manger. I had the email confirmation, so I had proof I ordered it. It took another 7 minutes for them to find my order and deliver it to me. Now tell me why it's called "Rapid Pick Up"?! We ordered our food online I added an $8 tip waiting for delivery. We had to run an errand up to the grocery store when we came back the order still had not arrived. We waited a little longer and still had not arrived. I attempted to call the find out what the problem was in the phone rang and rang and said wait for a manager however no one ever answered and it disconnected each time that was 8 times. So I drove to Panera Bread and picked up my order and ask for a manager. She was very nice and I told her the tip was for a delivery person so I asked for it back. I told her that if someone had answered the phone I could have discovered the issue. She asked it I wanted it remade , I said no as the children were hungry. I asked why no one answered the phone and she said they were too busy. That was BS as I the place was relatively desolate. I am extremely disappointed and upset. I should have asked for a refund. I also love the Smokehouse Turkey Bacon Panini with sundried tomato ale mustard. Not to mention their entire bakery section is every carb lovers dream come true. The decor is modern and stylish, with comfortable booth or table seating available. There is a really great outdoor seating area out back for good weather.
