Growing up in New Jersey, I can honestly say that Jersey Mike's is not exactly the best shop in a state filled with wonderful sub shops. However, to paraphrase Dorothy in the iconic movie "The Wizard of Oz," I ain't in Jersey (I understand that this is a very broad paraphrasing of Dorothy's iconic "I have a feeling we aren't in Kansas anymore" line, but it is what it is). Anyway, Jersey Mike's is a great option for a sub here in the Orlando, Florida area. I also believe that Jersey Mike's is the best national sub chain around. My go-to selections at Jersey Mike's are the Original Italian for a cold sub and the Big Kahuna for a hot sub. Both are great options and both I recommend depending on whether you are in the mood for a hot or cold sub. The staff here is friendly and my sub was made in the usual professional manner that Jersey Mike's sets for all of their locations and obviously has a decent training program for their franchisees. I would definitely recommend this particular Jersey Mike's. read more

I wouldn't here one afternoon because I had a birthday coupon and I need to use it. My coupon gives me a free sub and a 22 ounce drink at no charge. I was promptly greeted by young man behind the counter. I ordered a Big Kahuna sub on wheat bread. This is basically a cheesesteak sub with some jalapeño peppers added to it. I also requested some bacon. I had a seat, and I could hear them cooking the beef. A few minutes later the young man that took my order, brought my sandwich to me at the table. I was not expecting this nice little touch. Did I mention they did not charge me for the bacon either. This was a win-win situation for everybody. As a native of Philadelphia metro, their Philly cheese steak is as good as any I had growing up in South Jersey. While its a franchise, the Orlando one is better than others which are still very good. Very generous with ingredients. Roll tasted as good as Amoroso of Philadelphia. I'm a self-proclaimed sandwich aficionado and although the first time I tried a Jersey Mike's sub, it was just "meh," I decided to give it another shot (and then another one) since my dad raves about this place. And my "meh" original opinion still stands. This Jersey Mike's is in a shopping plaza almost next door to a Publix (whose subs are way above "meh" by the way) and the Jersey Mike's sign was not lit, so I was squinting my eyes trying to see if I saw people inside. The smaller "open" sign, however, was on so I went on in. The staff (both times I went this past week) were not friendly and seemed bored (or maybe tired? Either way - "meh" reigns). The first time I was in the mood for a turkey and cheese cold sub ( the picture got linked to another location since I guess I checked into the wrong Jersey Mike's - oopsie!). The turkey was too salty (do nitrates have a taste?) and this is coming from someone who salts almost everything. I decided that maybe this was a fluke, so I returned a few days later and this time got the turkey club with ham sub concoction. The meat was a little less salty, but I think they might have added more mayo than the first time, which could also have muted the salty taste. I also didn't see mustard anywhere there and did not ask (just in case it's like a don't-you-dare-ask-for-ketchup-for-a-Chicago-dog type situation), but that might have also enhanced the flavor. The main thing that my dad likes about Jersey Mike's, is that they slice the meat fresh for every sandwich and they're also pretty quick to get your order prepared. But, I think I'll mostly stick to my beloved "Pub sub." read more

I ordered & had my food in less than 5 minutes. The cashier told me about the deals for local students & suggested I register for the reward program since I'm here frequently. I was very impressed with their professionalism & courtesy. The food is amazing! I got the regular philly since I've heard so many good things about it. I was not disappointed! I tend to order the same thing- the Club Supreme (turkey, roast beef, Swiss, and bacon) and it's always delicious. I love the spices they use, and the red relish. I love Jersey Mike's and before this location opened I had to drive all the way to the UCF area to enjoy their subs. However, last week I was about to order my sub online and pick it up at the super far away location, when I realized they just opened a new one in Winter Park...AWESOME! The subs here are great, service is fast, and it is in an incredibly convenient location (next to Publix, and acroos from Target). Against my better judgment I gave this place another chance. This time I ordered on the app so I could walk in, grab my sandwich and leave. The app tells you 15 minutes. I waited in my car until two minutes after the 15 minutes. Well, I should have expected this from past visits, they didn't start my food. Not because they are busy, but because they are standing around. I wait the 4 minutes for my food. He hands me the bag taped up with stickers. I asked if the chips are in there. Yup, he says I leave. There's chips in there. Not the ones I wanted. I walk back in and of course the guy who helps me walks into the back leaving me with the second guy. I ask if they are out of what I ordered. He says yes. I tell him it would have been nice to be told that, he responds with I didn't tell you. You're right, you didn't, and either did your other coworker who took the time to tape up my bag like I wouldn't know. No receipt either. I've had issues here before. I took the time to file a complaint through the website. The owner doesn't care. It's a shame because they get business from being in a good location. Not because it's a well run location. Jersey Mike's is delicious as a franchise but this location isn't deserving of my money. I'm the idiot who went back but not again. I'll get my fix at a different location. read more

I came in about an hour ago. The person who helped me was not friendly and quite honestly was acting like a bitter college student whose parents made him get a summer job. He got half my order wrong and then forgot to give us a cookie with the kids meal (which was the whole reason we convinced our son to eat here) You make good subs, but its not worth it to put up with your unfriendly staff. This was my first and definitely my last visit to your location Update: 8/5/17. I was contacted by the Owner, Adam. He was very apologetic for my experience and asked if I would kindly give it another try. I went with my husband and son today and had a totally different experience. Paige made our subs and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. So now I would definitely say that Adam is very dedicated and cares about his customers and I would definitely eat here again. This place is awesome. Makes subway look like Mcdonalds. Great staff, amazing sandwiches. They offer a student discount, and a sweet points card for free food. Most horrible service I ordered a sub and it was completely wrong. When I called and complain they will fix by giving me a free sub next time the person gave their name for so it wont be a problem. So I go back to get my free sub the manger act like he couldn't help me said he called all the employees and no one remembered anything and basically called me liar to my face. then when I asked for someone higher to talk to because he was completely rude. This place is the best for cold subs. Im not a fan of their hot subs as Ive been to better hot sub places. They slice their meat and cheese as the sandwich is being made, which probably contributes to its tastiness. Their vegetables look fresher than other sub shops, although their veggie choices are limited. The bread is excellent as well. I don't have any complaints about this place, other than it can be pricy. I would suggest the regular size. I don't know many humans that can chow down on a giant by themselves. read more
