    Chopped Chicken Caesar Wrap
    Miriana Z.

Cameron and Jordani provided the best service I've had in months! They made my experience memorable. TooJays has one of the most overlooked and underrated Chopped Caesar Salad Wraps in Orlando. For less than $20 you get a GIGANTIC wrap with your choice of a side, and is definitely shareable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place sits off Colonial and is perfect for a lunch with the family before or after some shopping.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have an assortment of NY style treats. Give it a shot, I promise you'll be pleasantly surprised!

I have been going to TooJay's as long as I have been visiting Florida and it's always a must on my visits here. This was another very good visit. I was somewhat skeptical upon arr\val as the host Carlos seemed out of sorts. It took a while for him to get us a table for a party of 5. \He got a seated finally and we sat quite awhile before any acknowledgment. The waitress did come by and let us know she would be there shortly. Once she was engaged she did an excellent job. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is your typical TooJay's and not over or under the top for decor and vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now to the food and it was just as good as ever. We had Matzo ball soup, Latkes and corned beef sandwich. We also had a Cobb salad. Food was delivered quickly and our waitress kept all our drinks full. Look forward to my next visit.. Only regrett is we had no room for the amazing desserts.

Walk don't run for the matzo ball soup and the bagel and lox plate! These are so hard to find in Orlando and so happy they have delicious versions of these traditional NY deli fare. The service is always excellent and their desserts are epic! Prices are above average for similar casual diners but they make up for it in quantity.

I was craving for liver and TooJays did not disappoint. Liver and onions was cooked just right. It was seasoned well, not too salty, the mashed potato compliments livers texture. I was seated right away, although it was 45 minutes before closing.. My server was fast and friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is clean and highly recommended[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I love TooJay's. It's one of my go to comfort place for food, but I have to say that this location leaves a little bit more to be desired than the other two in central Florida. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've been to now the parking is great, but I tend to find out the customer service no matter what time of day you go you're standing around waiting to be seated then when you get your food, it's usually cold and this has happened to me on more than one occasion, and the staff always seem to be overburden almost like it's not enough of them working the floors a little bit slippery in the front portion and I noticed this on more than one occasion as well so I don't know if it's how they mop or what they use as a product.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathrooms are decent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is not up to regular two standards but it's not terrible either. I've learned that if I wanna get something from them, it's best to get it to go because my sitdown service has not been that great at this location.

    Banana Dream Cake
    Delaney S.

I went inside this location to get a slice of the banana dream cake. There was a person ahead of me, so I was waiting, looking at the cakes and other desserts. Seems to have a decent selection of about 6 different cakes and array of bite-sized desserts. My slice of cake was packaged up nicely with utensils to-go. The Banana Dream cake was very good. It was fluffy and really good chocolate that was layers on the top. I wish the banana cream was slightly stronger in banana flavor. I enjoyed the nuts around the outside of the cake. I would like to try the coconut cake the next time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One thing I would change is the cleanliness. I did not walk into the main seating area, however, the counter tops behind the to-go counter looked filthy. There was some equipment up there that looked like it had old food on it. The sink had old rags and pieces of equipment piled in. This is a turn off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I came here for a work lunch and I unfortunately wasn't very wowed by this place. Which is a shame because I really enjoy their food! It wasn't very busy to begin with in the restaurant, but the place was clearly understaffed with servers. One girl came to take our drink orders but we didn't actually get anything brought out until the server finally came over and took our orders. In the middle of our order she shouted across the dining room for another person to greet her table because she was busy. I ordered the grilled cheese and added on bacon, tomato, and avocado on challah bread! It was nicely portioned and super tasty! The bacon was crispy and the avocado only elevated the grilled cheese that much more! It came with fries which were good as well, and coleslaw. If this location could get staffed up so the service could improve, then it could really become a great place to come back to.

    Reuben
    Lynn R.

It's been a long time since I've eaten at Too Jays as they are in Florida. I was excited to try a sandwich and my favorite one is a Reuben. This was large enough to share and that was almost too much splitting it. The sandwich comes with a dill pickle, coleslaw and fries. This sandwich was spot on and delish down to the last bite. As a surprise I picked up the chocolate layer cake for a surprise and this cake is THE BEST chocolate cake ever made. It's expensive and worth it. Our server was really nice and took great care of us.

Stella Artois Apple cidre & Pastrami Burger
    Rebeca M.

Oh my....I enjoyed once again my visit, the pastrami burger at TooJay's is a delicious choice--perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The juicy patty pairs well with the savory pastrami, creating a rich and satisfying bite. It comes with a side of crispy fries and a crunchy pickle, making for a well-rounded meal. To top it off, an apple cider is the perfect refreshing complement. [[HIGHLIGHT]]you get that New York deli feel ambience, and the service is always friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a must-try!

The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. We're honestly so excited to have discovered a great New York-style deli less than 10 minutes from our house. Safe to say we'll definitely be back soon to work our way through the rest of the menu. Pro tip: Don't skip the deli salads--grab one or two to share with your sandwich.

Yeah yeah. However, there's still no excuse for rude service. I walk in and go straight to the deli. If you know this place: You walk in, turn right and there is an aisle with coolers on either side. This leads to the back deli. It is cramped, but not terrible. A couple was in front of me. I could tell by the demeanor of the gentleman that they had been there a while already and the woman was asking multiple questions of the staff. No big deal. A little annoying, but some people are just talkative. This goes on, an estimate of say five minutes. Five minutes of a woman asking questions of the male staff member as the young woman staff member chimed in with information or an answer. At no point during this time did either of them acknowledge that someone was waiting or anything. No eye contact. Nothing. Finally the couple is done. The young woman behind the counter asks what I want. I order. In the middle of her slicing one of the deli meats, another customer comes up and asks for a pound of the meat she was currently slicing. Customer service will tell you to take care of customers in the order of arrival. Not according to this place. No, she decided to skip over me and service someone else. I understand that it was probably easier that way - given you might have to clean up between meats, or whatever else. And that's fine - IF YOU COMMUNICATE with the customer. The lady ordering the meat apologized. For reasons? It wasn't her fault. I appreciate it, but unnecessary. Finally after waiting for a longer time, the young woman behind the counter apologized for the delay. There never should have been a delay. Plus the sandwich was lackluster. First, the staff deserves credit--their energy and kindness were 10/10. The person I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The food itself was good, but I was disappointed that my order was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for only tomatoes and pickles on my burger, but it came with cheese and a sauce. Luckily, I was planning to eat just the patty, so I was able to rinse it off, but if I had intended to eat it as a regular burger, it would have completely ruined the meal as the bun was covered in the sauce. My sub was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's sauce recommendations. However, I was surprised that the homemade sauce came with a $1.10 charge for each side of sauce--that feels pretty excessive. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.

The meat counter offers hot sandwiches and they even have a sandwich of the week. They have a bakery counter and to no one's surprise, many items will be sold out if you go at the end of the day. This was disappointing for me as I really wanted to try their pistachio sfogliatelle. So we got two huge sandwiches, which they cut in half for you, and some baked goods and coffee. They have a coffee counter and the lattes are good. We tried the sandwich of the week, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with caramelized onions, fig jam, and provolone. This was a 8.5/10. It was good, rich, and fatty. Not a light meal sandwich. Definitely had half of it and felt very full. We also got the Soprano, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with pesto, tomatoes, prosciutto, arugula, and fresh shaved parmesan. This was a 9/10. Lighter on the body than the other sandwich, but it was still filling and I can only have one half at a time. The sandwiches came out to about $30 for both, but that's almost four meals right there for that price. For the baked goods, we tried the Nutella sfogliatelle, pistachio creampuff, and a pistachio cannoli. A sfogliatelle is a laminated pastry that looks like a lobster tail. This was delicious and crispy and sweet. I wish I could have tried the pistachio one. This was a 8.5/10. The pistachio creampuff surprised me. This was a 8.5/10. I thought it was going to be too sweet, but it was good. Pistachio flavor could have been stronger. The pistachio cannoli was a 10/10. This was insanely good and perfect and I should have bought five of them. We tried the cookie butter latte from the cafe. This was a 9/10. The cookie butter was well mixed with the espresso and the espresso was strong and high quality. Overall, this place was a 9.5/10 and I will be back. I mean those prices and that quality moves it from the "let me try" list to the "let me be a regular" list.

Perfect. Here was…read morethe cool part; the customer service couldn't be beat. I came in, looked the menu up and down, and shortly afterwards a gentleman behind the counter eagerly took my order. Then, a few minutes later the sandwich was done to perfection and wrapped tightly. That was great customer service. Plus, they had a question and communicated to me that they had a question. This doesn't happen at all local delis. The store is clean and well stocked. There is much more of selection here of premade and/freshly made desserts, dinners, etc. Will be back for sure.
