The subs are very good and well made and many of the staff are friendly but it is 8:20 PM and the restaurant says it closes at 9:00 PM and while i am waiting for my sub the place is a mess mopping the floor/trash bags/sweet tea container on floor and one of the employees turned off the Open sign 40 minutes before close. First visit yesterday. Staff was exceptionally friendly, going out of their way to get me fresh bread when I ordered 3 sandwiches. Very chaotic and they need to practice better sanitary practices. The employees were making sandwiches, touching the register screen, and money without changing clothes...especially the employee that was vacillating between the meat cutter, making sandwiches and helping the employee that needed constant assistance on the register. The employees in the grill were speaking constantly despite the long tickets for sandwiches. The employees on the front line were not communicating well making sandwich errors. When I got home my grilled sandwich was soggy and the lettuce tasted funny. Tossed it in the trash. That was my first time visiting the establishment and my last. read more

I have been here the past couple of times, since I wrote my review, and I do have to say that they have improved. If you stick to a sub, you shouldn't have an issue. The staff is pretty nice most of the time. The dining area needs more attention, because most of the time the floor is sticky and the tables and chairs are lined with crudge. As always, my Wraps I get are either a hit or miss. Honestly, if you order something other than a Sub, keep an eye on your meal as they make it. When they make it right, it is always delicious! I have been a loyal customer to the original Jersey Mike's locations in NJ since as long as I can remember. When I had found out that they were moving into my local shopping center I was very excited. Prior to their opening I would go to their Manassas and Springfield Locations just to get a taste of home. There are no local sub shops which can compete with Jersey Mikes and I am sure that this location will be a huge success with the great quality of food and pricing that will keep the customers coming back! The other day was the last time, I will be ordering from that location. The customer service is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. I ordered a sandwich specifying certain items in the sandwich. The sandwich wasn't done correctly so I called requesting for remake of my sandwich. I explain the issue with the sandwich and the representative responded rudely and instantly put me on hold and transferred me to the manager. I explained to the manager issue with the sandwich and she also responded rudely. She agreed to remake the sandwich but perceived to rush me to come get my sandwich. The food is good. I can appreciate that they cut the meat right there in front of you. The only thing that sometimes bothers me about it is they don't usually wipe off the blades between customers. That can be kind of gross if the person ahead of you gets something you may not want the taste of. The employees are usually friendly though. They keep the place clean in the dining area, I'm not sure about the bathrooms. read more

A Subway on steroids... only Subway has more variety in chips and cookies... if Jersey's Mikes could match that, this would be a five star for today... My BF and I had a sub craving... a real Italian sub kind of sub... when I thought of it, I realized there aren't really any 'authentic' or close to places for subs... I remembered seeing Jersey Mikes and decided we'd try it out. EXCELLENT! Aside from one other place I know where the Italian sub is hands down the absolute BEST, this is a good substitute... the subs were PILED HIGH with meats! I love shredded lettuce on my subs, so I liked that they had that... and the sauce was awesome. I also tried the tuna - I am a tuna fan.. it was pretty good- I could have used some hot sauce on it, but, other than that, this was a very good experience.... Counter folks, one very outgoing and friendly staff member, probably the manager on duty... he seemed like he was the senior person on duty anyway... a shy little girl, and another boy who was not really shy, but not exactly outgoing... the senior person took charge, asked if it was our first time, took the time to explain how it goes, and then walked us through making our choices. I got the Super Sub with everything on it. SO GOOD! Yea, the place is not kept very clean... the five tables are a not really sufficient... but the service, at least the day we went was very good. They even came around asking how things were and if we needed anything else - I like that. Definitely will be going back when I want an Italian sub. The difference I would say between here and Subway is the amount of meat you get... it really is QUITE substantial at Jersey Mike's than Subway... and the prices reflect as much... read more

This place started out so well... :( My order would always be correct, and everything tasted great. Cold food was nice and chilled, hot food was hot. Fresh! But now, I can't remember the last time my order turned out as I asked. I can be picky sometimes, but what I order here is pretty straightforward: #3 (ham & provolone), add bacon. The last time I ate here (a couple months ago), I decided to take a break from them for a bit. What happened was they forgot to put mayo on my sub. It's not like they accidentally did oil & vinegar or something--it was just straight up dry. As big as their subs are, and for it to have no mayo? It wasn't the end of the world of course, and as hungry as I was, I was just happy to have food. But for the whole (pricey) sandwich to be dry was a disappointment. Had I been eating in the store, I would've asked for mayo. But I was in the position where what I had was what I had :( btw, I've noticed that if you want bacon on your sandwich, you really kinda have to fight to get it. Otherwise, you won't get it. After asking for some initially, I'd later be asked, "So, do you want bacon?" in a way that makes me feel like I'm inconveniencing them, like I should change my mind. Family members have had this same experience with bacon as well. Makes me wonder what would happen if you ordered a BLT... Basically, employees seem distracted... Things are consistently incorrect and/or forgotten. I'll try again one day. Will update if anything changes, better or worse. As for the food itself, if you can manage to get what you want as you want it, it's not bad. Just seems that the quality of the food as well as customer service has suffered since back when they first opened. :( read more

I grew up in South Jersey and had a lot of hoagies for starters. The Woodbridge, VA Jersey Mike's is a restaurant that I will avoid from now on. This was the third time I had a bad experience. During the 12p-1p rush, they had three staff and a long line. Just my luck during my thirty minute lunch break that I picked the slowest place in Woodbridge. They took two girls who were ahead of me and took five minutes alone on their order. When it was my turn, they totally stopped progression...guy handling meat machine decided to clean the machine and told me to wait...and I did, then he started doing other slow stuff, so woman who puts condiments on started doing online orders with a line of ten people stopped at me, and he decided to take everyone in lines order instead of tending to the person who waited fifteen minutes in line that stalled on my turn. Guy behind me couldn't wait his turn and went in front of me to pay while I am waiting for meat and cheese and hoagie roll to even get to condiments section. Condiments woman then takes antsy guy at register and was real slow coming to me to fix sandwich so line was still stalled at me. I repeated the condiments to the woman twice so she got annoyed and doubled oil on my club supreme giant hoagie (the most expensive one for a lunch time). When she finally got me to register, I showed her a $1.00 off coupon, since Jersey Mike's continuously sends coupons but I never come in after my first two bad experiences. She scanned it and said it doesnt work. I asked if she was the mgr because after making me wait so long the least I couldve gotten was my dayum $1.00 off of a $20 order. She said the manager isnt in, rang up my high priced order and didnt even say sorry, thank you nor good bye. To top it off during a contagious variant during the pandemic, no staff wore masks while preparing food which is disgusting. I get my hoagie home and just ate a section for lunch and it was 100% bland. It was an abomination to present this as a Jersey hoagie. It had no taste whatsoever. How could a hoagie be bland...is the meat or condiments GMO? The roast beef was bland, could not taste the vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano, roast beef, turkey, cheese, mayo, tomato nor lettuce (maybe because she purposefully drenched it in oil). I had a similar hoagie at the Fredericksburg Jersey Mike's four days ago and it was really good...thats what got me driving to this location at lunch. The first two times I came in to Woodbridge's location, I got an absolutely prejudice- acting, sarcastic, unprofessional manager and vowed to never go in again. I will update this post if I get sick from the bland something's not right hoagie. Every single staff member in Woodbridge needs customer service training, they all should have on masks, and the manager needs Diversity and Inclusion training. My $16 giant club supreme should not have tasted like that and no I have never had C19 so it wasnt that! I am posting this all over social media this time! read more

Great subs. I got the steak and cheese and they cut the meat right when you order it and give you healthy portions. Little pricy for a sub, but the quality is there. The customer service was great as well. I ordered the large and mentioned I would probably save the other half for later, so they cut it in half and wrapped each half individually with out me even telling them. Love, love, love this place. The sandwiches are delicious and filling. Many choices to choose from, but my favorite so far is the Chipotle Steak & Cheese. The bread is a french bread style that is soft, but a little crispy on the outside. Great foundaion for whatever you put in there. The prices are much different from Subway (the $5 deal excluded) but the portion and taste is so much better. Compared against Quiznos, not reason to go back to Quiznos. I like that it is ala cart or combo, so you can design a meal just right for your appetite. Our first visit there, we brought in a buy one get one free coupon for the local Entertainment coupon book. It wasn't one of the participating locations as it wasn't open when this coupon book went out, but the manager honored it anyway. That is great customer service! I was craving a steak n cheese, was pretty satisfied when I ordered the Big Kahuna (- the jalapeños, but added mayo & oil & vinegar)! It was fantastic! What really made me want to write this review was the fact that the cashier, Tim, was so nice to my daughter (a picky 8 yr old, who wanted nothing but a cookie! ) & was just all around polite & actually looked like he was happy to be there. We eat out a lot, wether it's fast food or other, & have to say that it's nice to see someone who's actually POLITE, NICE, & GENUINE! Can't say the same for the girl that prepared our food. Reminded me of an upstate New York deli my family and I use to frequent. Fresh ingredients, heavily layered meats and the bread is what really tops off these subs. A definite hidden gem and one that everyone needs to visit. Cosmetically, it's nothing fancy but, it is well kept and very clean. Not only did she roll her eyes at me when I questioned the sandwich size options, she made a comment about to another staff member right in front of me! I came here with my family (wife and 3 kids) this past weekend. It wasn't very busy. the service was friendly and while I wouldn't say it was fast it wasn't long enough to say the wait for our food was unreasonable. My wife and I both got variations of the chicken cheese steak. It is kind of a centerpiece sandwich here. The chicken itself was good, and the sauteed veges were good as well, but the seasoning was a little excessive and mine was drenched with way too much dressing. This kind of thing may be subject to the taste of the individual, but for me it was just too much. Overall the food wasn't amazing but it was definitely not terrible, and I thought the quantity of food we got for the price was pretty good. Also, one of my annoyances was the lack of beverage options. The only diet soda fountain drink option is Diet Pepsi. Blech.... does anyone actually still drink Diet Pepsi?
