My buddy and I had just finished paragliding in San Bernardino and wanted to grab a quite bite and a beer before heading back to LA... so we stopped at a kabob place... which, didn't have beer. Then we went to a pizza joint by the kabob place that did not have beer. Then we stopped at Pizza Hut... which, of course, did not have beer. Then we saw the glowing neon across the streets at Jerseys calling us home... BEER. We are so glad the other places didn't work out. The pizza was great. This is based on SERVICE alone. I went here a while ago (back in October) and I still remember the service that we did not receive. Why am I not basing the review on food? Because we were so turned off by the service that we did not stay to eat. Friend and I walk in and notice that the place had a good amount of people in it, not too full, but it was enough to be busy. Okay, so this place must be decent. We get there and no one says anything to us, not a hello, not a how may I help you, nothing. So immediately that was strike one. We stood by the door for a while, trying to figure out if someone would seat us, or if we were supposed to seat ourselves. So since we weren't addressed by anyone when we walked in, we figured that maybe we were supposed to go to the cash register to place our order then sit down. Went to the register and no one was there, okay, we'll just stand here and wait. So after waiting for about 5 minutes, someone finally shows up and asks us if we need anything. By now we were steaming, so we just asked for a menu, and she handed us one and left. Didn't ask if we were okay, offer any suggestions, nothing. Strike two. We take the menu back to an empty table and try to figure out if we're supposed to wait for a waiter to take our order, or if we have to get back up to go to the cash register. After waiting again for a while and having no one ask if we need help with ordering or anything, we just get up and go. We both hate looking dumb, and not having any type of direction about how we're supposed to order was a turn off. It would have been nice to have a sign that says "place order here" or something of that sort. For someone who has never been in there before and just wanders in, it was extremely confusing. Plus the little interaction we did have with the staff leaves a lot to be desired. Even if there is no waiter service, it would be nice if the staff was 1) friendly and 2) helpful. They were neither. So good pizza or not, I will not be coming back here. read more

Its not fancy but thats ok..lil hole in the walls are theee best!..i used to get their salads there when i use to work at the blockbuster video back in the day i always used to get their salad...still the same..good as shit...Their food is amazing..we have tried their pan pizza...its soo tasty and the doe is sooo good and they are generous on their toppings and its super cheesy..we have also tried the calzones with chorizo..omg..sooooo good!..their salads are huge and the meat selection is good also...the staff is super friendly when we have gone..i highly recommend this place..!!!..ppl who give the low stars are jus complaining on lil things..get over it.. read more

Absolutely delicious pizza! It is just so unfortunate that the reason I am giving it 2 stars is because of their customer service and lack of cleanliness. Asked for a to-go box, the waitress gave us a small box for about half of a large pizza. When we opened the box, there was a cockroach inside! Went there after reading the "great" reviews on yelp. This being out of my domain but was in the area for some business. But the service is blows, had to get all the "silverware" and plates myself. Pizza came with no server. She just slid it on the table. If the place was packed I could understand but there was only 3 other people there.?! Anyway's other yelper's said it's not the service they go for....... The Hawaiian pizza and one (1) piece of Canadian bacon on each slice and they are thin to the point it's almost transparent. Very good Pizza! I love Jalapeno and pepperoni the best. The only thing that bums me out is we have tried to go there 3 times but the game room was closed. The loss of the liquor license doesn't bother me as we are not hard drinkers any way. I have always had good, friendly service here. read more

This is a tough review to give. The pizza should get five stars. It is VERY good. The cheese is AMAZING and REAL (vs. whatever that crap at the cheap pizza places is). The crust tastes like and has the texture of real, hand-thrown bread. Just don't eat in there. The building was built (and last thoroughly cleaned, apparently) at the dawn of man, smells old/musty and needs to be gutted. I hate to think that kitchen is cleaner than the rest of the place. That's not very realistic, however. We just order/wait for the pizza, have a beer, cover our eyes and take it home to eat...praying our immune systems are working. read more

So Jerseys had been a go to in our family for years..... decades! It was my first job in high school, and I'm 38 now. I was just informed that they no longer make calzones or Sandwiches after 4 PM on fridays and saturdays. I don't like this nor do I understand the process of taking one of your best selling items off the menu during the weekend. When I spoke to the girl who answered the phone she was rude when explaining this to me... specifically when I asked how long has this been a thing? She responded with " well like I've been here for a year so yeah, so umm did you want to order anything else we're busy right now" I said no thanks. I called in to place an order for pick up told them I wanted a pepperoni pizza and a salad, when My boyfriend went to pick the pizza up they made a sausage pizza not pepperoni. The only thing they kept saying was sorry it's already made and the girl who took my order was on break. What does that have to do with anything you got my order wrong you should fix it. Cheesus Christ. I'd like to say my salad was good, but the 2lbs of cheese was pretty tough to get through. But at least the lettuce was room temperature, and browned to perfection. The pizza had another 3lbs of cheese on top of the 40 oz. of oil. All piled high on my small $13 pizza. This was off set by the flavorless dough though, so it's all good. I love the pizza here, always have. I just have to say though, the place is absolutely filthy. We spent an hour here for lunch. When we walked in, there were two tables that had not been bused and it was obvious that the people who had been there had left the restaurant before we came in. Those tables had still not been bused when we left an hour later. All of the furniture is old and in poor condition. The carpet is musty and the floor is black. The walls, sports memorabilia that hangs on the walls, and the windows are dusty. For a place that was recently closed due to a vermin infestation, I would expect a renewed commitment to cleanliness and sanitary practices, but it is clear that there is simply no attention paid to any of that. The pizza was very good, but I won't be back until they make a commitment to cleanliness. read more

A nice surprise! I have seen this place many times in the 40+ years here in San Bernardino. It may have been part of a franchise but is owned by a Korean family. Everything there is made there. The even have pizza bread rolls for sandwiches. The menu said "lean pastrami" It WAS lean pastrami. The offer homemade potato salad They use the red potatoes that are much better for potato salad. They have an outstanding selection of beers on tap. They have a large room for large parties. There was one when we went. The noise was fine in the main room because of the private room.
