I was coming here when I was still under my parents insurance and always loved Dr. Flores and his staff. When I got kicked off their insurance at 26 I tried another dentist who tried to up sell me on a million and one expensive treatments, they seriously made it seem like my teeth were falling apart. I went back to Dr. Flores and just payed the out of pocket consultation fee, and he was appalled by what I told him from the other place. All I needed was 4 fillings, the other place tried telling me I needed a root canal, a crown, all this madness. I am considering cancelling my dental insurance and just paying for my treatments at Dr. Flores office out of pocket just because I know he is trustworthy and doesnt try to scam his patients. Dr.Flores is the best dentist I've ever had, and I've had MANY. I don't even live next to the dental office anymore but I refuse to switch. He's attentive, experienced, and is the MOST gentle dentist ever. His team is also amazing, Elizabeth and charisma are always fun to chat with, and they always squeeze me in whenever I call. Rose is fantastic and knowledgeable, and their hygienist Vivian is also the best! I usually come here for a routine check up or for any other needs. I am usually very satisifed with Dr. Flores and his staff. However, when it comes to the deep cleaning it was a very painful experience the female doctor was so rough and I can feel her scraping so hard. I moved a couple times to show her it was started to hurt. At times she would get the hint but one incident she didn't and kept going I even started to tear a bit so I had to move her hand and tell her to please be a bit more gentle. She responded "Well I am trying my best to remove everything" I understand it is a process when you deep clean but geeze. i was so upset I could have walked out luckily she noticed and apologized. I have not went back to her since then and I make sure to mention during my check ups I don't want her just Dr. Flores. Dr. Flores does a great job with your check ups. His personality and humor are a plus to get you to feel comfortable and calm during your visit. On another note, they recently got an oral surgeon to start performing tooth extractions or getting your wisdom teeth pulled etc. They really wanted me to get an apt. in with him instead of the usual place that they refer. I said okay, scheduled for a Saturday at 1 pm. on Friday around 4 pm I got a call that the oral surgeon was out and they wouldn't be able to take me in. They said they were trying to get a hold of him again so they can see when he would be available to reschedule. I just didn't feel comfortable and just set a new apt. with the San Dimas office " " . Dr. Flores mentioned I needed two or all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled. I was just going to get the bottom two since it was less expensive. However I just didn't feel comfortable with this surgeon still. Being that their oral surgeon is new and didn't personally check me out. On a side note: I would really suggest everyone to do there research. (When I went to the San Dimas office that was referred from Dr. Flores office after their surgeon canceled) the Oral Surgeon came from the San Dimas Office personally came out and saw me told me I only needed 3 wisdom teeth pulled out not two and definitely not 4 he mentioned and explained why. The day before surgery this office called me and prepped me through surgery and told me the do's. I am truly glad I waited and went with the San Dimas Oral surgeon instead. read more

I'm in the dental field so I've had quite a few dentist work on my teeth in the past 16 years...I've been on in to dr Flores for about 5 years now and I have to say he is the best dentist by far!!! His personality is very welcoming and makes you feel very comfortable. He doesn't have a heavy hand which makes the treatment very bearable. The staff is always so nice and I never feel rushed in this office like they need the chair for the next patient. I have referred over 20 people here n they all have loved it also. I moved about 2 years ago about 45 miles away but I won't switch my dentist since he's such a great dentist. So worth the drive! read more

Two stars only because the doctor is great but administrative staff has yet to return any of my calls. I have left 3 voicemails and no return calls as of today. I receive an invoice ($45x 2) for not canceling my husband and my appointment within 24 hours which is incorrect. I have telephone records where it shows I called 4 days in advance due to me having bronchitis. Unable to get anyone to return my calls to get this cleared and/or reschedule appointments. Have not received any copies of any documents signed at the office. A simple returned call and explanation for charges would be great. Did they not check their voicemail? Did the receptionist forget to cancel my appointment? No response as of today. Have called various times throughout the day, nothing! They didn't forget to bill my insurance, I confirmed with insurance today that check has been cashed. Very unprofessional, poor customer service by staff which is bad because it makes this office look like they pick and choose what type of patients they want. Being ignored because you canceled an appointment is childish. read more

I was referred to Dr. Flores by my ortho and I took a chance. My experience has been nothing but awesome! He is excellent (and very nice)! You can tell he actually CARES about his patient's results and is very passionate about what he does. I had different issues with my teeth and he perfected everything. The office is NOT money-hungry, either (which is refreshing). All in all, I highly encourage you to go to Dr. Flores! Dr Flores is an excellent dentist and has a great bedside manor with children as well as adults!!We have been impressed with his new office and friendly staff especially Patty in front who explained all our new insurance information! His whole team is awesome!-We will be back for cleanings,fillings,etc. He now has an oral surgeon on stand by that are removing my husband's wisdom teeth in his office...which makes it very convenient for our family...if you do not have insurance I'm pretty sure he is taking cash paying patients. I love this group! Dr. Flores is the best! Every time I have an issue with my teeth it gets fixed, the office does not let me wait, well if I wait it's about 5-10 minutes. I just got my Clear Correct and the Doctor was great with explaining what to do now. I have been coming here for the past 5 years or so and my now 12 year as well. She loves to have her teeth worked on by the Doctor. In fact she is always asking when do I have to go back! I have had a bad experience with a Doctor at other Dentist office and let me tell you I would never go back to that Dental group in Chino Hills. Dr. Flores is the one to go see! Dr. Jesse Flores is the absolute BEST dentist you are going to find in the area. It is rare that you will find a doctor who is so wise, knowledgeable, and comforting, all at the same time. Previous dentists I've been to were not in the same league as he is. I used to refuse to get my yearly check-up out of fear, but Dr. Flores is so patient and friendly that I don't hesitate to set up an appointment any longer. So I went to Dr. Flores back in 2007 to get a couple fillings. I am now seeing a new dentist who questioned Dr. Flores work. My new dentist went as far as telling me if I had my worked done in Tijuana! WTH, I immediately said No and asked why she assumed that the job was done there. She stated that the fillings were done incorrectly and that they contained a bubble in the filling within the tooth and now had to be redone otherwise it would cause damage along the way if left untreated. If you are thinking of going to this dentist think about it twice. Most of the time we trust our dentist blindly not truly knowing if they are doing a good job or damaging our mouth. Now I have to spend additional money to get this fixed. I would go back to this dentist but it is not worth my time and energy, since he has done a bad job in my mouth I would hate to have him make more mistakes that I will later have to have fixed for additional money. If I could give him zero stars I would. read more
