Been living near Rosamond since August 2015, order pizza from Jesses for delivery nearly every weekend! Always awesome pizza, however call today to have my weekly delivery only to be told they do not deliver to my address, which I explained they do almost every week. Needless to say didn't have my weekly Jesses goodness. New delivery drivers, new cashiers? Idk but not at all pleased with the service or lack there of that I received today! Unacceptable! read more

This is an update to previous updates of mine, just lately Jesses Pizza has disappointed me, although service is fast, orders for pizza have just not been up to par as they once were, not enough topping and the crust is sometimes somewhat burnt and dough not cooked enough to hold toppings and they fall off, and they keep changing their employees that don't know how to make pizza Jesses Pizza way it use to be when I first started getting pizza there not long after he first opened in Rosamond, it's a shame too because I thought this pizza was the best in town but not so much anymore read more

It's the best Pizza I have ever had. The wings is very good too. I tried ordering the pasta and the guy on the phone asked which pasta? And I said what do you have and he said I'm sorry we don't have pasta today! Wth! Why are you asking then. Anyway he asked me if I want it delivered and I said yes and I asked how long he said 45 mins. I said ok. An hour later no pizza, I called no answer I called again 3x finally someone answered but put me on hold 10 mins later the phone hanged . I called again and the guy said 15 more minutes and I said ok. After 15 mins my hubby getting mad and I called I said no one can deliver I said we will just pick it up. When we get to the place we still waited for 10 more minutes. All in all its almost an 1 1/2 waiting . We were so mad! Why I gave 4 because the food is really good. I wish he just told us honestly that he's just by himself and told us that he can't keep up. Anyway! We will be back and just be prepared to wait. I guess anything good is worth the wait. read more

Not sure why some of these people had bad pizza or bad service from this place maybe they hired a new manager or something but I love the pizza from here and the people ordering the phones and delivering the pizzas ate always very nice and tentative. read more

Lets start off by saying I'm super picky, that's for sure. I was hesitant of the place given its location and its dimly lit interior. But I have to say this, I am thoroughly impressed. The prices are decent, and comparable to the area. As for the food, Their pizza was impressive, their crust appetizing, and the amount of toppings on the pizza was abundant. The BBQ Chicken pizza is one awesome, tons of toppings and loads of cheese, if you're into that sort of thing. The salad was pretty standard and well priced for its size, and their ranch is pretty good too. Their Hot Pastrami sandwich was huge, and again decently priced for what you get. Their mozzarella sticks were substandard when it comes to mozzarella sticks, but they were still edible. But let me tell you, their Cheesy Breadsticks with marinara were definitely the star of our meal. 10/10 will order their breadsticks every single time, if not for the breadsticks themselves, then definitely to eat their marinara sauce. Overall, I would try it. I wouldn't let the façade ruin what could potentially be a great meal. read more

Beyond horrible. I called to make an order and it took four times for the teenage worker to even understand what I said as he was talking on his cell or to someone else. I have ordered there for over two years and this is the worst treatment and service I have ever received. It is going down hill from here. Never again. Little pizza joint that is run by a group of buddies. I enjoyed the pizza, a good change of pace from greasy pizza hutt. I think that what makes them good is that they make their pizza right there in this little place but its just simple pizza. Dont go in expecting a large corporation style experience, little shop making some good pizzas. Ill recommend this place for pizza for sure. read more

Good value. They will customize your pizza the way you want it. I order with thin crust all the way to the edge and toppings spread to the edge. This reduces the dough. Extra sauce and cheese improves the pizza also. I add wings sometimes too, they are ok. Once the wings were on the small side but they included 14 instead of 10. read more

When we first moved out here to Rosamond we ordered from Jesse's almost weekly. I feel like their service is getting worse and worse. A few months back we placed an order and requested extra ranches, when the guy got here he had no ranch and told my husband he wasn't going to go back and get it because he'd be late for his next delivery. So when we called to complain, we were laughed at and told he was the owner! We still continued to order from Jesse's and once even got half of a soggy pizza. I don't like to complain so I just ate the other pizzas we had ordered. Today we ordered 3 medium pizzas and 4 ranches and were told "45 min to an hour".. Our pizzas got here after an hour, with no ranch. So we sent our order back and called Guido's. We will no longer give Jesse's any more chances. When I called to complain, I honestly felt like I got hung up on because the guy was no longer on the line. read more

You cant beat their sandwiches locally. Wait times are usually 30 to 45 minutes, which is standard for the type of place and area. Wings are oven baked, and good if you prefer that type over fried. The pizza is usually cooked to what id call well done. Great salads, and great price. Staff has gotten more friendly each time Ive called. Our go to in town for a cheap bite that doesn't taste like fast food. read more

A lot of wear and tear, clutter, and not so clean, but, the Health Department just gave them an "A" rating, so that's real good! It looked like they were slammed and kind of chaotic, one guy kept repeating what he wanted another guy to do, over and over again. This pizza had possibilities, all of the toppings and stuff, but, it was not cooked completely. I'm sure they know, the conveyor will set the pizza cooking time. When you push it too far into the oven, and take it out while it's still over halfway in (he had trouble scooping it and getting it out) it reduces cooking time and you get a soggy wet not quite cooked pizza. I would've preferred to wait a little longer versus what I got. Maybe a combination of a lot of toppings and shortened cooking time, I don't know? I don't want to go back to the national pizza chain companies, I like supporting local Mom and Pop places. I've been going to Guido's Pizza for the last 5 years, however, the last 4 deliveries went from wrong, to more wrong and finished up with unbelievably wrong! They said the next ones on them, but I'm not going to haggle or go looking for handouts, they have my name and phone number... Back to this place, at a minimum put back on the light fixture cover leaning against the wall, clean the dirty return air grill over your cooking and prep areas, and organize all the crap. Good food usually. The quality varies presumably due to whomever happens to be cooking. Tonight I called and was put on hold. After about 4 minutes I hung up and ordered elsewhere. If this happens too many times (this is for the owner) I will quit calling. You need someone responsible to keep an eye on your employees. Just my 2 cents. read more

ive had 3 orders from jesse's pizza rosamond. never a complaint except for now. everything was fine as i was having sausage spegetti . then i found a 1 and a half inch beard hair in my mouth. almost puked. thats it for me. never again. i understand this happens from time to time but if the cook isn't going to cover the beard or shave. ohhh well. read more

I placed an order for pick-up last night, and it turned into one of the worst experiences I've had with a restaurant. I ordered spaghetti & meatballs, which comes with a salad & garlic bread, I was told it was a 25 minute wait. I went to pick it up 30 minutes later, the salad wasn't ready, and so he had to make it, I don't mind waiting, but my problem is with the fact that he made it with his bare hands. That wasn't the worst part of the service, the spaghetti fell out of the bag when I got out of the car and onto the ground, so I just gave away $7 and got no food out of it. Had the guy put the spaghetti & the salad into a plastic bag, and had he properly sealed the container that the pasta was in, my food wouldn't have wound up in the trash. I like to support local businesses, and I used to think this place was a way better alternative to Domino's and Pizza Hut, but now that I know how they make their food, I'd rather just get my pizza/pasta somewhere else. read more
