We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our kids and found hair in them. The eggs tasted like they came straight from a carton instead of being freshly made. I ordered the French toast and it was completely undercooked...soggy, egg-soaked bread with zero cinnamon or flavor. I couldn't take more than one bite. But, the service was friendly. Atmosphere is good, feels like an older diner. Relatively small selection of menu items. They offer no discounts for local, military, etc. Prices are high, but not totally out of line with other restaurants in Williams. Biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs and 2 pieces of bacon with a cup of water, out the door for $16. They aren't doing much during the pandemic. This was not good. The place was crowded and every table was sat, no social distancing. No staff wearing masks. That was a bit uncomfortable. Would I rush back here? The Greek gentleman / cook was very friendly, as was the lady server. I had the gyro skillet, complete with two eggs over easy, onions, feta cheese & hash browns. Everything was cooked very well and the combination of flavors worked wonderfully. My companion had a cheese omelette and enjoyed it. I realize that costs have gone up and and that a cheeseburger costs $14 at a restaurant these days. That being said, it should at least be edible. Frozen patties that were incinerated and the cheese melted in the microwave. We used to be faithful customers but not anymore. read more

Doesn't look like much from the outside and I was a little hesitant about eating here after reading all the negative reviews. However, once we received our plates of food we were amazed at how delicious everything looked. Good atmosphere with great music and friendly service. The only thing I didn't like was that there was only one server so the poor lady was running around to take care of every table. Disappointing! I would give it no stars if I could. The prices are insane for the quality of food that you receive. There wasnt any combination of pancakes/breakfast. If you wanted pancakes it was an additional $12. We paid over $40 for two breakfast plates and a drink.. We waited over an hr to receive said plates just to have everything taste bland. Chose this spot for breakfast as it advertised that it was the original pancake house specializing in pancakes. My husband and ordered regular pancakes. They were thin and tasteless. Upside; our server was friendly. Cost for two pancake breakfast: $36.00 - over the top expensive for the quality. They need to ditch their cook. Both were served with a half cup of that cheap whipped fake butter on them, neither were cooked all the way through and both were cold. We stopped here for lunch on our way to Sedona. It was a sleepy like town with a sleepy little diner. The food was okay. Service okay. Nothing special. Went into town and drove around and randomly picked this place. The owner/cook is Greg. He greeted us with the proclamation of the best gyros ever! He wasn't lying. Every bite prepared with care. Not cheap but worth every penny. I don't know about breakfast but he used nothing but quality ingredients in the gyro salad and gyro platter. He's been in the restaurant business 50 years and in Williams for 30 of them. The service was great, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Walked into this over filled restaurant during Thanksgiving as it's the only local dinner opened tonight. Not only were the tables closely packed, but also none of the staff were wearing masks. We were almost shouldered to shouldered with groups to the left, right, front and back of us. My group of friends were the first to enter this establishment yesterday morning. We had seen it close to our hotel the day prior and it seemed like the little mom and pop breakfast dives we frequent back home in San Diego and we like to support small, local business. The interior is dated and a bit kitschy; almost to be expected from a mom and pop shop. The place was dead silent and awkward. There was one server/hostess who sat us to our table who took our drink orders. After looking over the menu she came back to take our order, at which point the cook came out from the kitchen to hover behind her and he proceeded to take our order while she wrote it down. Our group ordered the following: Russian omelette served with a side of hash browns, corned beef hash with a side of hash browns, a veggie omelette with a side of hash browns, a short stack (two pancakes), and the 2x2x2 that consisted of two pancakes, two eggs (I requested scrambled), and two sausage links (which could also have been two bacon strips). The food came out promptly and there wasn't much of a wait. Unfortunately we would have gladly waited twice as long for edible food. The hash browns that accompanied each dish were completely inedible. They were made of old, oxidized potatoes that were probably purchased frozen, then thawed, refrozen again, and thawed after being prepared for us. They had the consistency of wet cardboard strips and tasted like what cardboard probably actually tastes like. The omelettes were edible from two of my party members but they were mediocre at best. My pancakes were exceptionally bland. It's hard to mess up pancakes. I don't think I've ever had bad pancakes to compare them to, but now I have. The eggs were ok after salting them. The best part of my breakfast were the Farmer John's sausage links. The syrup container at our table didn't work. When pressed to open, the lever didn't open the spout. My friends corned beef hash looked like cat food. I personally have never had corned beef hash but it didn't look appetizing at all. Apparently it had no flavor and tasted like dried, canned Alpo. We called the server/hostess over and requested if we could have the corned beef hash exchanged for another Russian omelette. The server said I don't know, I'll have to check. The cook then came back out from the kitchen and asked us what was wrong. My friend politely said she wasn't enjoying her food and would like to have it replaced with another Russian omelette. The cook then asked us what am I going to do with that food? I can make you an omelette but you have to pay. Sure, whatever, we were hungry. The cook goes back and you can hear him whisk up the eggs and the dish eventually comes out with more sad hash browns. I had gone to use the restroom which was usable. The soap dispenser was a regular home bathroom container of Softsoap, but inside was green Palmolive dish soap. They forgo paper towels for a air hand dryer but this is quite possibly the weakest one I've ever seen/used and I had to dry my hands on my shirt. After we were got as much of our food we could stomach we asked for the checks. By this time two other parties came and had gotten seated. As we got up an older couple asked how the food was, to which we shook our heads and said Not good. They looked at each other with regret. We took our checks to the front waiting to pay. The server/hostess could not ring us up. She told us that he (cook/owner/whatever) was busy cooking. We waited for about ten minutes before the elderly man came out of the kitchen to ring us up behind the register. He didn't say a word to us as he processed our cards. We didn't leave a tip- we know this wasn't all the servers fault, but we were never offered refills and we had to grab silverware sets from other tables. This place is begging to be on one of Gordon Ramsey's kitchen make over shows. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

The sauce with shwarma was frozen and would not pour into the sandwich. None of the employees wore a mask and everyone was packed in. The server was really nice but food was terrible. Boyfriend ordered hamburger patty with two eggs and hash browns. Whatever meat that was they served was not hamburger it was bloody and did mot even look like beef. I ordered one biscuit and gravy and it was not terrible but it was not good either.
