The food here when we went was about average quality and the price was about as elevated as the slopes here. We had a kids hot dog and a green chile cheeseburger, both with fries. The burger and fries were decent but not worth $20. The hot dog looked overcooked as it was as wrinkly as an elephant. Ordering can be done by QR code or at the counter. We stopped for lunch during our trip, and it was outstanding! We had the BBQ sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious--honestly, it reminded me of the famous BBQ from Dreamland Bar-B-Que in Alabama. The flavor was incredible, and every bite was worth it. We also ordered the Southern Belle Chicken Salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The food, atmosphere, and mountain setting made for a wonderful lunch experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back the next time we're visiting Snowbowl. This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I've had and that's putting it lightly. Our sodas tasted really off, and we waited over an hour just to receive our drinks. The food unfortunately didn't make up for it. My burger patty tasted horrible, I only ate it because at that point I was starving. The chicken noodle soup my daughter ordered tasted watered down, had odd chunks, and wasn't even edible. We were really excited to try this place because the view and games create such a fun and beautiful atmosphere. It's disappointing that the dining experience didn't match everything else it has to offer. This restaurant definitely needs a revamp to live up to its surroundings. read more

I was really surprised at how good the food was here. My expectations were pretty low since most lodge food is usually pretty basic. But everything we ate on this particular day was awesome. We were given the choice to sit inside or out, and we chose in since it was a little chilly. There was live music outside that day too, so it was a little loud. Lily H took really great care of us, very attentive and friendly. We tried the pretzel bites and AZ BLT. The pretzel bites were warm and perfectly salted. The sandwich was really good too. The rain was sprinkling when we arrived so we were advised we weren't able to get on the gondolas just yet so we decided to grab a bite to eat. The food came out in about 10-15mins, i ordered a Philly cheesesteak and husband got the cheeseburger, the meat was interesting but nonetheless was eaten as we hadn't eat lunch. Both our meals came with fries, my husband loved them, i thought they were good until i found a HAIR in mine.. safe to say i was done eating. Later that evening i found myself sick and throwing up on the ride home, the weird part is my husband also threw up later that night. We only ate here and had a few road trip snacks. Ordered cheese curds and sodas. A bit overpriced but we expected this because of the location.

We weren't planning to eat here, but once the scenic gondola ride was cancelled due to weather, we were given a gift card instead of a refund for our ticket prices. We could use it at the restaurant or gift shop. Since we aren't from the area, and don't know when we'd be back, we chose to use it on food. They had several outdoor picnic tables (which weren't usable during the rain and hailstorm) and a fairly small indoor seating area. To order, they had QR codes to scan, or big menus on the wall to order from via computer. They had a pretty good variety of foods, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salad, soups, etc. We ordered some burgers, and were able to customize them to our liking, salads, and soups. Getting food at Snowbowl has always been a hit or miss for me. But the renovations that they have done at Agassiz Lodge have make things a little better. I highly recommend coming here or Fremont lodge for lunch instead of dealing with the crowds over at Hart Prairie main lodge. Agassiz Lodge is located right next to the Arizona Gondola. The new dining area that opened a couple years ago is spacious, heated, and has an outdoor deck on top. Food is ordered on your phone by scanning the barcode that links you to their online ordering system. You then grab your food at the pickup window. If you want drinks, there is a bar nearby that you can order directly from the bartender. Agassiz has upgraded their food to include more choices other than just hot dog and hamburgers. They now have items like an apple brie salad, a portobello mushroom sandwich, and hummus. It's still expensive, but at least you can attempt to eat healthier. I always get a bowl of chili to warm up with after a day of shredding the mountain. Even though Agassiz Lodge can be less crowded than the other lodges, be prepared to wait up to an hour for your food at lunchtime on busy weekends. There is a nice fire pit outside if you want to chill and warm up while you wait. read more

So we ordered the rice bowls of both kinds that they have on the menu. Man oh man. It was just a lot of white plain clumped rice with very little vegetables and just a side serving of sauce. Bigger and only one proper restaurant in snowbowl area. Food options were limited to just 4-5 (chicken tenders, cheese burger, Agassiz burger , fries etc). We took cheeseburger and it sucked literally for $12. Just a soft bun with patty and almost invisible cheese. Fries which comes along with burger was good though. Food - 1.5/5 But still i would give 3 star just for the experience in open seating restaurant. Lot of inside and outside seating available. Big fire pit outside with the view of mountains and people skiing on those is worth to sit and chill. They have a agassiz bar as well. Note: I have been here during springs and restaurant had lot of options to eat. So seems like during winter they limit their menu due to hell lot of crowd. read more

I took some friends up to the lodge for lunch on 7/6/19 after having eaten their before and was shocked to find their menu had been reduced to 3 items a hot dog, hamburger or chicken sandwich when they show a full menu on their website. I asked the waitress what was going on and was told they have not had the full menu in years. I told her to get the web site corrected then. I was very embarrassed as I had told my friends how good this place was needless to say the food was not fit to eat and I will never go their again read more

In the summer time, this a great place to get to cooler weather (currently it's 86F in Flagstaff and 72F up here), and to have a drink on a patio with scenic views. Resort is beautiful but the restaurant (if you want to call it that) is terrible. No servers, you stand in line to order. The guy taking our order seemed either bored or annoyed. The girl making the drinks was nice but pour was weak making my daughters margarita taste like straight syrup and my vodka soda taste like plain soda water. My husband beer was good! Can't go wrong with lagunitas. He tried to order his burger medium rare and was told "we don't make it to order we just cook it until it's done". Seriously??? The bun was old and just fell apart. No condiments you squirt your own ot of a Costco jug. I ordered the deli sandwich and was asked white or rye. I ordered white it came out on Rye. Since I don't like Rye I told the girl I had ordered it on white she huffed and took it away bringing it back 2 seconds later on while bread smashed with finger prints. I didn't eat it. Atmosphere is the best in Arizona. Waitresses the sweetest on earth but the Asian peanut salad was the worse on this planet. Honestly they opened a bag of salad mix and threw it in a bowl with dressing as far from the description as possible.
