I have enjoyed their happy hour for over 13 years. This is where I first tried baba ganoosh and this set the standard - it continues to be the best I've found. The garlic lemon chicken with pine nuts is also a fave.... Just the right level of spicy... First time trying the Chipotle Black bean slider - good but I personally would not order it again. I live in Las Vegas now and wish we had a Pita Jungle. But if Im traveling and there is a Pita Jungle I know I know I can trust the quality and consistency. Staff is always friendly. Possibly the most consistent place around. Any location has a few staple food items while they all rotate their very own specialties. We decided to go with old faithful the grilled chicken platter. Always consultant though the presentation created a bit odd a haste we weren't used to as it was starting to converge in the center of the bowl. Pita bread was underbaked and the cheese barely melted Spinach was thrown in as a clump, Chocolate baklava tasted stale n old. No utensils were included with the order... There was also a noticeable lack of attentiveness at pickup from the waitress,which is concerning for a restaurant charging premium prices and this is a complete oversight, especially for takeout and delivery, which should be treated with the same respect as dine-in. I experienced both, and neither met the mark. For a $50 plus order customers expect fresh food, proper execution. This fell short, especially given the limited non-fast food options in the area. We eat at Pita Jungle in Scottsdale all the time. It's fresh and nutritious without a lot of fats. The Mediterranean diet is our favorite. We are in Flagstaff for the summer and have eaten at their location several times. The food is very good however the portions are so much smaller than the valley. For the price of the food I really don't think it's worth it. Very sad as we were happy there was a location here. I guess there is only one in Flagstaff so there is no compete. I ordered the chicken shwarma wrap and it was filled with chicken. The portions here are large and the flavor is exactly what you expect when you order a pita wrap, but I do wish there was more sauce on it because it got dry towards the center. My friend ordered a wrap that weighed a solid 2-3x more than my wrap, so keep that in mind when ordering! We also ordered the chocolate-covered baklava and this was better than I expected. The layer of chocolate was thick, but the baklava inside was still really crispy and flakey. It also didn't have a strong honey flavor that you expect from baklava, but again, the fact that it was still crispy inside earns it some points. read more

This salad would be perfect with more chicken. Lavash pita wrap: This was very bland and once again the chicken was not tender, it was dry, not typical for organic chicken. The wrap amplified the dryness of the chicken as it was very bland and needed the garlic sauce to be more prominent.The wrap itself was dry and crumbled to pieces like if it was old, not sure if that's the style here? It had sautéed onions and a garlic sauce that was very hard to taste. Substituted the side salad for cilantro fries, they are more on the soft side, prefer a nice crunch on the fries personally. While the meat was well seasoned there wasn't much for $15. While the restaurant as a whole is inviting, the parking is horrible and difficult to find.
