This Flagstaff franchise owner needs his agreement pulled . We just ordered takeout at the Desert Ridge location 3x in past couple months and service and food quality has stark difference. Possibly the most consistent place around. Any location has a few staple food items while they all rotate their very own specialties. We decided to go with old faithful the grilled chicken platter. Always consultant though the presentation created a bit odd a haste we weren't used to as it was starting to converge in the center of the bowl. Still the chicken is always tender never dry and Kate was great (didn't intend to do that but it works) despite some early hiccups with our appetizer she made it right and was very patient with us. I spent over $50 on a takeout order some salmon , pita four-cheese bread, chocolate baklava and the quality did not match the price. Pita bread was underbaked and the cheese barely melted Spinach was thrown in as a clump, Chocolate baklava tasted stale n old. No utensils were included with the order... There was also a noticeable lack of attentiveness at pickup from the waitress,which is concerning for a restaurant charging premium prices and this is a complete oversight, especially for takeout and delivery, which should be treated with the same respect as dine-in. I experienced both, and neither met the mark. For a $50 plus order customers expect fresh food, proper execution. This fell short, especially given the limited non-fast food options in the area. Management should review kitchen quality control and front-of-house service. At this price point, the experience should be much much better. read more

We eat at Pita Jungle in Scottsdale all the time. It's fresh and nutritious without a lot of fats. The Mediterranean diet is our favorite. We are in Flagstaff for the summer and have eaten at their location several times. The food is very good however the portions are so much smaller than the valley. For the price of the food I really don't think it's worth it. Very sad as we were happy there was a location here. I guess there is only one in Flagstaff so there is no compete. I ordered the chicken shwarma wrap and it was filled with chicken. The portions here are large and the flavor is exactly what you expect when you order a pita wrap, but I do wish there was more sauce on it because it got dry towards the center. My friend ordered a wrap that weighed a solid 2-3x more than my wrap, so keep that in mind when ordering! We also ordered the chocolate-covered baklava and this was better than I expected. The layer of chocolate was thick, but the baklava inside was still really crispy and flakey. It also didn't have a strong honey flavor that you expect from baklava, but again, the fact that it was still crispy inside earns it some points. read more

The potatoes were good, the rice was overcooked and bland (we actually threw the rice away it was so bad). The sandwiches were OK; basic, bland, and small. The salad was pretty small and basic too. The tzatziki and baba ganoush were also basic and bland. The cheesecake was overly sweet with toppings, the carrot cake was good, but they added strawberries to it (we'd never seen that before). Shockingly good for, well, a chain outpost in Little Scottsdale. Chicken shawarma bowl was all-around well-seasoned, with crunchy pickles. That said, it wasn't really shawarma--it was chunks of chicken breast, which meant it was dry rather than moistly layered. It being passover, I couldn't evaluate the namesake pita, nor falafel, but since this is likely the best Levantine food in Flagstaff I'd probably go back if I wanted that sort of food. read more

While the meat was well seasoned there wasn't much for $15. While the restaurant as a whole is inviting, the parking is horrible and difficult to find. I ordered a large Greek salad, $13, and added chicken, $5, to take home for my husband. What a huge disappointment! It's hard to get perspective in the photos, but there was barely 1" of lettuce in the small container. The chicken was dry and chewy, like it had been microwaved. Certainly not an $18 salad I've had eat-in salads there and they were huge and delicious. The 3 stars are for my Chicken Del Sol and our nice server.
