We shared some burrata at the bar while we visited with friends and then moved to our table for a delightful dining experience. The tuna tataki was a fantastic sharing plate to kick off a night of amazing flavors. I had the coconut lime glazed black grouper which featured purple sticky rice, a red curry emulsion, pineapple jalapeño chutney & herb salad. Sharing a bite with my partner was a challenge but I played fair as he gave me a divine taste of his seared duck breast. Our friends shared the octopus tiradito and wild caught sea scallops. They raved about the size of the scallops and the accoutrements. We had no room for dessert and plan to return when we fly back into Tampa later this year.

I really enjoyed the combination of the steak with the potato. It was crispy but also soft and the flavors were punchy with the garlic furikake. Definitely opt for this app! - Grilled Honeynut Squash ($29): what a delightful surprise! The flavors were sweet but savory and the yuzu cranberry paired so well with the garlic tahini. The Brussels were out of this world, I could have used more of those! The only miss on the dish was the onion pakora- I loved the onion outside layer but the inside was too dense and didn't taste very good. Everything else on the dish was fantastic and a good portion - Hat Yai Fried Chicken ($42): this was tasty with the purple rice and papaya atchara to give it a nice crunch and texture. I only had a couple bites as this was my boyfriend's dish but he enjoyed it!

There are a few parking garages, but even those are a pain because people park like idiots. The parking situation isn't On Swann's fault, but it's an annoying factor. We had reservations well in advance, so we didn't have to worry about a wait. It was reasonably busy for a Saturday at brunch time. The decor and overall ambiance was classy but comfortable, which is great imo. Our server was nice and checked on us a good amount of times. The wait time between ordering our food and it coming to the table felt a bit lengthier than I would typically expect, but the food was delicious so it's hard to even complain about that. I got the short rib hash and a croissant and both items were wonderful. The croissant was flaky and buttery, it comes with a honey dip and butter on the side, would def get again. The short rib hash was also a menu item I would order again - the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I'd say I'm a little picky with how runny my eggs are. These were runny, but not TOO runny. The potatoes had a nice crisp to the outside but nice and soft on the inside, the short rib was so tender, so juicy, it was just a very well rounded, great tasting hash. This was my first time visiting On Swann for brunch, I'll be back for sure, but maybe on a weekday instead of the weekend since it seems to get pretty crowded in the Hyde Park Village area!

We started out with the croquettes in goan curry, which was a very solid Indian-inspired dish. Next we tried the Yakitori - the chicken was amazingly well cooked. The local collar that was very well reviewed was very tasty, I had never had anything like it before. The meat was very tender, I just wish there was more of it in the dish. Next we tried the charred cabbage, which was solid. However, my favorite dish of the night was the vindaloo lamb pappardelle. The lamb was so silky smooth, the curry was flavorful, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. I would go back just for this dish. The service was solid. The overall vibe of the place was also nice, seemed hipster-y and trendy at the same time. Can't wait for my next meal there!

The food was just amazing- worth every penny- from the beets to the chicken skewer to the cabbage - we also had the mushrooms, lamb parpardelle, and fish- just all so amazing!! Each sauce you want to lick from the bowl- just bristling with flavor and I was so impressed with the varying textures introduced in each dish! The sesame ice cream also a home run!
