I love the atmosphere, Sofi takes care of my nails and they are always perfect, Hana does my Pedicure and so very gentle with in-grown nails. I've been coming here for over 6 years. Once or twice a year because thats all I can afford....usually im very happy but this last time vibes were OFF. I try to be respectful and at least say hi to my technicians, but they very clearly did not want to engage with me, which is fine. But then the 3 ladies working on me were constantly talking to each other, then a 4th person who wasnt even servicing me came and joined their conversation and was literally leaning over me to "whisper" to my nail tech for what seemed like AGES. It wasnt until I looked directly at her did she stop and even said "sorry sorry." But then still contines to non stop talk to my nail tech. I'm a mom of 2 kids who doesnt get pampered much, forgive me if I wanted and desperately needed some tranquil time to myself with 4 woman laughing and giggling around me making me feel very uncomfortable. Lastly, the unbelievable PRESSURE to tip them at the end was INSANE. I tip based on service (tips mean to. Insure. Proper. Service). I was always planning to tip, maybe not to their ridiculous expectation for less than adequate service, but my main tech Sophie was hovering over me like a bird to fish, making sure I was going to tip everyone and proceeds to remind me THREE times in less than 5 minutes. Needless to say, I will NEVER come back here again. Besides their overpriced services, their lack of compassion for their paying guests, the disrespectful pressure to tip, my nails look....alright. I have had SEVERAL issues with this nail salon, it works for me on the weekends when I'm on that side of town. I have ONE technician that does an amazing job. Unfortunately, she was not available on Sunday. I was told by Hazel, the incompetent front desk girl, that she'd put me with a "very good technician." Which I did not trust. I even expressed to her I with has so many issues with the other technicians. She promised the girl I went to was "one of the best." Upon leaving I noticed the technician skipped a step to filed under the nail, as they normally do. I asked specifically for this. I had a 2 broken nails, as they grew thin with their grow out-- I told her it was painful for her to use the machine when filing (she could have let them soak instead). I then asked to have extra coats on these nails to avoid in future. She declined. Well, here we are- 3 days later. I have SAME two 2 broken nails, a third on the way. She does not add the hard gel to the tip of the nail- only the base; leaving a HUGE mound in the back and thin in the front. Which aesthetically looks terrible and makes them look easily breakable. She also did not file/clean under my nails- which I requested, because I get French and makeup can collect under nails. I live FAR from this establishment- so it's not convenient to get ACROSS town for them to fix. NOR should I have to return 3 days after they've been done! They kept pushing for me to come in for them to fix. They did not provide any accountability -- in fact, somehow DEFENDED the nail tech? Also said they watch the cameras to decide how the nails are done? To further defend tech wasn't at fault. So I've now paid over $100 for broken (PAINFUL) gel manicure with zero customer service from this establishment. They've lost a customer. Not that they care. read more

I've been a loyal customer for a while and have consistently seen the same nail tech, on the same day of the week at the same time every week. My recent experience was extremely disappointing. I scheduled my usual 6pm appointment and called the following day to confirm, only to be told my nail tech had another appointment at 6:30 PM and that I could not be accommodated. When I explained the situation, Tracey insisted I had originally requested 5:30 PM, which made me feel as though I was being accused of giving incorrect information. She offered no immediate solution other than rescheduling, despite the scheduling issue not being on my end. She said she would call me back after speaking with the 6:30 client about possibly moving their appointment, but I never received a call. Mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability, poor communication, and dismissive approach were disappointing. I randomly came here once in 2021 and haven't gone anywhere else since! This is hands down the best nail salon. The facility is always clean, and they have an amazing selection of colors. Everyone who works here is sweet and professional, but I highly recommend asking for SOPHIE for nails and HANA for pedicures--they are both absolute gems. I'm very picky about my nail length, shape, and color, and Sophie gets it exactly right every single time. I always leave happy and honestly haven't let anyone else touch my nails since. There was no proper apology or concern, and the situation was handled very casually, which made it even more uncomfortable. I often spend time in the shopping center where Bellagio is located (Kreation/Baccio etc) and got a recommendation to come here from there when I was looking for a pedi mani refresh. Bellagio did not disappoint and I was able to walk in and sit down quickly, even though nearly every seat was full. Massage chair was on point. And they actually had my color, and so far it's lasting! They are friendly, and take care with and pride in their work. I have sensitive skin and so can't use files with my nails, and everything has to be short and round as I'm a musician. They were flexible and still gave me one of the best manicures I've had. I've been visiting this place for more than three years now for my manicures and pedicures. I enjoy coming here because they maintain a high level of cleanliness and have a lot of nail technicians available, so I've never had to wait. However, I notice that every time I visit, the price seems to vary. It typically falls between $115 and the highest I've paid, which was $160.00 for a hard gel manicure and gel pedicure. This time, Liza, the nail technician, suggested almond-shaped nails instead of my usual square-round style, and I must say, it was an excellent suggestion because I can't stop admiring them. Liza is wonderful, very friendly, and did an amazing job on my nails; she took her time and was very gentle. They also provide neck and shoulder massages while you get your nails done, which is fantastic. All in all, this is my favorite nail salon due to its cleanliness and the lack of wait time. read more

I've really tried to give this place a fair chance because it's close to where I live in Marina del Rey and near Sephora, so it's convenient. But every time I leave, I feel disappointed--and honestly, discouraged from getting my nails done at all. Now thinking back, here's what happened during my most recent visit: I came in for a gel pedicure and a manicure. I decided to do acrylics for my hands because GelX always pops off--literally, the last time I got GelX here, they popped off the very next day. I work full-time and don't have the luxury of coming back for fixes. Saturdays are my only real time, and I don't want to spend hours redoing nails that should've been done right the first time. So I let them know I wanted acrylic, not GelX--and the vibe immediately shifted. The technician visibly got annoyed. She asked if I wanted my cuticles trimmed (which she did, okay fine), but she didn't trim my actual nails or prep them properly. No alcohol to clean, barely a soak, no dehydrator--nothing. Just slapped the acrylic on top of unclean nails. She was rough with my hands, pulling them, giving me attitude the whole time. I asked for a narrow, natural shape and got the exact opposite. The acrylics were thick, uneven, and every nail was a different length and shape. One of my thumbs was visibly shorter than the other. I pointed it out and asked for fixes, and she ignored me. Mind you--this was supposedly one of their "top" nail techs. By the time I realized how bad it was, I just gave up and asked for regular polish because I knew I'd be fixing them at home. And of course, I see after they put the acrylic on they do charged so much more extra--for cutting my natural nails underneath the acrylic (which should be part of the prep) and for regular polish. They clearly get upset if you don't want to spend $140+ on nails, which is outrageous for work this sloppy. Also worth mentioning--while I was sitting there, flies were literally buzzing around me. That's not only gross, but incredibly unprofessional and unsanitary for a nail salon. That should not be happening in any business, let alone one that charges this much. On a separate note, be extremely careful about pricing at this place--they are very sneaky when it comes to charges. They'll tack on random fees for everything, even things that should be included. Always ask how much every single step will cost before they do it. I've been to this salon multiple times, and it's always the same pattern: unclear pricing, followed by a surprisingly high total. It's not like they're explaining why something is needed they are just like oh you want me to cut ur nails before applying - 30$ extra. This whole experience was just frustrating, annoying, and honestly kind of disgusting. Places like this acting like it's okay to treat customers like that--it's just unacceptable. I left feeling so fed up that I don't even want to bother getting my nails done again. I would absolutely not recommend this place. read more

Horrible! Sloppy work and rushing for time. I got a set of Gel X nails, which I paid $170 for (including my pedicure) and I tipped $25! I broke a nail the very next day. I've been doing my nails for 10 years and very, very rarely do I break nails. I came in and they charged me $7 to fix it? It shouldn't have broken to begin with. During the fix, I told her the exact polish I used. 1 coat of OPI bubble bath and 1 coat of DND clear pink topped with pearl chrome. She didn't use clear pink and tried to tell me it was right. Finally a different lady gave her the correct polish. She was acting like I was crazy and the polish didn't exist. The fixed nail is THICK and sloppy, you can see how thick it is in the photo. My thumb nail from the first appointment doesn't match the rest of my nails. Just all around not worth the money and there are much better salons in the area. Avoid this place! read more

A couple years ago, someone mentioned it again as a recommendation and I was like, "omg I forgot about them!" I got a full set of GelX (my go-to) and I was randomly matched with Sheena. She did a quite literally flawless job and we exchanged numbers for future visits. Sheena kills it ~every time~, but honestly I've had such a good experience with everyone there. I love how kind and attentive they are. I always get a 20 minute neck massage (I love Lucy and Cherri), a Gel Pedicure (Wendy did mine today, they're perfect), and a full set or fill of GelX by my girl Sheena! Sheena also tints and waxes my eyebrows, and she does a greaaaaat job. The shop is big with nearby 20 chairs and a manicure bar in the back. They've never made me feel out of place and have greeted me with kindness and hospitality. The quality of work is superb and I won't go anywhere else. I just adore Bellagio. I first encountered them when it was suggested to me that I get a manicure ahead of my baby's funeral in March 2025.
