We walked in right at 7:00, exactly on hour before closing, which felt like enough time due to how quick their ordering process is. As we walked in, the two workers behind the counter loudly sighed and exclaimed "Oh great! I just cleaned all of this! This is ridiculous." The boy began to work on a to-go order ignoring us, while passive aggressively throwing items onto a pizza and grunting. He was avoiding any conversation with us, aside from an occasional glare. The girl stood behind him, staring us down. We stood at the counter for about two minutes before either of them acknowledged us. Nobody told us "welcome in" or even "we will be with you in a minute". I waited for someone to speak to me. Eventually the boy got out of the way and we were able to quickly order. Once we finally received service, it felt like we were a burden and the environment felt tense. We were out of the restaurant by exactly 7:30, with still plenty of time before closing. There were only four of us. I have worked in the service industry before and understand the frustration of people coming in right before closing or being rude on busy holidays-- but being rude to your customers one hour before closing just for walking in the door ruined the entire experience for myself and my family.
