    8 Corner Pizza

If you want a different style of pizza Jets is a great option with their specialty Detroit style pizza. Thick crust with lots of flavor options. I fond the service (pickup) to be very good. Their employees are polite and professional and their stores are always clean. Definitely a solid option.

Arrived thinking this was a pizza joint with a dining room... but we were hungry and didn't have a lot of time to seek out another option so we went ahead and ordered a half-and-half, pepperoni, shredded pepperoni and spicy pepperoni and the other half sausage. The four small tables out front were all empty and there was a beautiful sunset. So we sat and nibble on a salad while that aromatic searing hot fresh from the oven pizza cooled down enough for us to eat safely!! The Greek salad was delicious! Fresh crispy and just as it should be! But good Lord, let me tell you one bite of that pizza and I was an absolute fan and it's gonna be really hard for any pizza joint in the area to make me as happy. I'm afraid I may have found my Permanent PIZZA place. Y'all set the bar HIGH! Apparently, I'm not the only person who feels this way. The door to Jess was constantly in motion with customers, arriving for their phone in orders and others, stepping in to gaze at the menu to make their selection as well. The crust on this pizza was indescribably satisfying. As a type two diabetic, I do count carbs and I estimated one square as being about 45 carbs which is on the high end for me. I have no clue what the actual carb count was, but as one slice was satisfying, topping off the delicious salad. It was an absolute delight. We might call in an order someday and pick it up and bring it back to the house, but in all honesty, it would be hard to beat the experience we had at sunset sidewalk, dining, and the exquisite fresh from the oven jets pizza dining experience has made for a wonderful pizza memory.

OMG, I love Detroit-style deep-dish pizza, so when I saw the Jet's Pizza on 75th Ave and Thunderbird, I had to stop. They're famous for their Detroit-style pizza, which has this amazing crispy crust with caramelized cheese because it's baked in steel pans. They also have wings, salads, and "deli boats," which are like calzones. It's just pickup, but there are some tables outside if you can't wait. I got a big one with eight squares; the crust is so light and airy, the sauce is tangy, and that caramelized, cheesy crust is the best. I can't wait for the new location by my house on 16th Street to open.

The pizza aid great that's why I keep coming back, but don't expect them to honor the times of online orders. I made myself known I was waiting for my order 10 minutes before my pickup time and they let it sit there while they got the customers after me their order. Don't trust their online. Call in or place it over the phone.

4 corner bold pepperoni well done with turbo crust. Bomb!

I crave Jets all the freaking time. Problem is, they aren't really close to my house, (Praise baby Jesus they are building one in Surprise, soon!) so I don't go as often as I want. I was down in the area and placed an order for pickup. They currently have a Pick 2 combo where you can get 2, one topping 4 corner pizzas for $8.99 each. Hell of a deal. Went with 2 pizzas with bold pepperoni, one with turbo crust, the other without (my kids say it smells like dirty feet lol....it will smell up your car on the ride home, but it tastes delicious lol!). How was it? Amazing! I always get it well done and it comes out perfect. The crispy curled up pepperoni, the sauce, the cheese, the crispy buttery crust. I love EVERYTHING about this pizza. Its so damn good! Huge fan and will always come back!

Pepperoni pizza??? More like cheese pizza.

Think... Pizza Hut, but cut in squares and somehow more expensive. We were just passing through and stopped at a hotel nearby. Decided to try this place and ordered two large pizzas and mild buffalo wings. The pepperoni pizza showed up with just cheese and sauce -- no pepperoni in sight. The wings came without any ranch or blue cheese, which felt like an oversight. Not even crushed red pepper or Parmesan packets were included. For the price, we expected a lot more attention to detail. Really disappointing.

Pepperoni jalapeño I was lucky to take a picture. My kids devoured it.

So I needed to make an updated because I had an opportunity to try it again. So me first say that customer service was amazing. I received a message from the business and them wanting to make it right. They offered to replace the pizza we had gotten and explained that they have new staff and are working to improve and get everyone trained properly. The interaction was great and I Truly appreciate how much they wanted to make it right. The pizza this time was really good, the crust was my favorite. The cheese was also a hit, I did think that they put a little too much sauce for my liking but my kids loved it. I love this style because I feel you get more pizza and with the size of my family this helps. I am giving them a 5 star because the service level was amazing. They went out of their way to make it right and I truly appreciate that. The pizza itself was also really good, so we would definitely be back and order from them again.

That's basically a daily period where they clean their coal ovens and can't sell pizza. Womp womp. Not today though! We were seated quickly and given a seat right near the oven, so we got to watch the pizzas being whipped up. We started our meal with the strawberry spinach salad. It was really good and had a nice dressing on it. Decidedly the perfect salad for summer. For our pizza, we had the Brooklyn Bridge with extra cheese. Despite having visited Grimaldi's many times in the past, I had never tried this pizza. I loved it! I would consider the extra cheese to be imperative on any pizza here as they can be kind of skimpy on the cheese.

We showed up around 4:30 pm on a Monday without checking ahead, and the place didn't appear to be busy. The hostesses put us on the waitlist, and we ended up hanging out for about 20-25 minutes before getting seated. They have a decent bar area and some outdoor patio space, so it's not miserable, but it dragged on longer than expected for a casual pizza night. Once we finally sat down, though, the pizza made it worth it. We ordered 2 large sausage pizzas. The crust was thin, crispy, and perfectly charred from the coal oven, super authentic New York style vibes. The sauce had great flavor, cheese was fresh and stretchy, and the toppings weren't skimpy. Everything tasted super fresh, and the portions are generous. Service was friendly once we were in, and the atmosphere is cozy with that old-school pizzeria feel. Think NYC meets RatPack. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Would I go back? Yeah, the pizza is that good. But next time, I'll plan better to avoid the long wait or maybe do takeout. If you're in the area and don't mind a potential line, definitely worth it for real-deal pizza.

Service was exceptional - from wine recommendations to always having full water glasses. The evening began with an impressive charcuterie board featuring a generous assortment of cured meats, cheeses, olives, and antipasti. The variety was outstanding, offering everything from delicate prosciutto and salami to creamy spreads and tangy marinated vegetables. The board was beautifully arranged and encouraged sharing, conversation, and plenty of flavor exploration. The butternut squash ravoli were served in a rich cream sauce, it was indulgent and satisfying. The pasta was tender and well-filled, while the velvety sauce added a luxurious touch without overwhelming the dish. It was a hit. The orecchiette pasta showcased a more rustic side of Italian cooking. Combined with broccolini, spicy sausage, tomatoes, and a dusting of Parmesan, the dish offered a nice balance of savory, fresh, and earthy flavors. The pasta was perfectly cooked and hearty enough to stand on its own as a memorable entrée. The pizza delivered everything diners hope for from a traditional Italian pie: a beautifully blistered crust, vibrant tomato sauce, and generous toppings. The combination of olives, artichokes, mushrooms, and cured meats created layers of flavor, while the char on the crust suggested a properly hot oven and careful attention to technique. Dessert provided a fitting finale. The tiramisu was light and creamy with a generous dusting of cocoa, offering the classic coffee-and-mascarpone flavors that make it a perennial favorite. The diplomatico was a cream-filled pastry added a contrasting texture with its flaky layers and sweet filling, making it difficult to choose a favorite between the two. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, with low lighting that creates a comfortable dining experience. Portions were generous, presentation was appealing, and the menu demonstrated a commitment to traditional Italian flavors. This restaurant excels at delivering authentic Italian comfort food with quality ingredients and generous portions. The standout charcuterie board, flavorful pasta dishes, well-executed pizza, and exceptional desserts combine to create a memorable dining experience that would be easy to recommend for both casual dinners and special occasions.

The funny thing is my coworker, that was driving, said I could have whatever I wanted. I chose this Barro's and as we were in line he mentioned that a while back he had a bad experience at another location. After trying the pizza slices he ordered, he said he was going to go back to see if it was a one time thing. This location was clean and it had a salad counter. I still have to order the wings but we were having a quick lunch while making some sales calls so we decided to just grab a slice and go.
