Rays pizza, nice little pizza spot. Great lunch options and really good prices. There was a definite family atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and all three staff acknowledged me leaving. This was a little tough. The pizza was floppier than I really care for. Both pizzas ate surprisingly lite. The cheese had a nice flavor, sauce not too sweet. I preferred the pepperoni pizza which just had more overall flavor. The crust was crispy, which I love and probably pushed this to a 4 star. Very large slices at a really good price, good flavor and great crust. 3*** = Good but no separation from similar shops 4**** = Set themselves a part with tastiness 5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there! read more

We spent a week in Peoria, staying at the Cibola Vista resort. My brother and I love good pizza and Ray's pizza hit all the marks that we look for in a good pizza. The crust was thin but not too thin. The sauce had an excellent flavor and the cheese was plentiful as was the cup pepperoni on top. Absolutely delicious and we ordered it twice during our stay in Peoria. I wish there were a Ray's Pizza in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Super friendly staff and I can highly recommend Ray's pizza. read more

Service is the best everyone is so kind. My husband ordered pizza it had so much flavor I ordered baked ziti which is the best I ever had!!! Unfortunately we are from california so we won't be able to get it again any time soon but we will be stopping here anytime we come to AZ! We have been here many times for their slices. Family run and very friendly. The sauce had a nice tang to it, and are served on a metal pizza tray. Actual silverware is available, as well as oregano, paremsan and red pepper flakes. This is a favorite stop for lunch. read more

I love Rays pizza, the prices have jumped up considerably. I typically get a slice and now that slice is 7.00 and that doesn't include the drink. I think that is way too high, it definitely is a game changer for me, won't be going as often unfortunately. read more

Food: 5 stars - We ordered 2x Monster Slices, 12 count of medium wings, and a 805 blonde draft beer. Everything was delicious. The Monster Slices were in fact monstrous. Topped with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onions, bell pepper and cheese. It was comparable to a slice of pizza from Costco; the Monster Slices was about double the cost but loaded with toppings. We requested a well done finish so the bottom and crust was nice and crunchy! The wings were a generous size and medium was just enough heat to feel a kick but not burn my lips off. The only wing flavors they offer are hot, medium, mild or BBQ. It would be nice to see a honey hot, or some sort of dry rub like lemon pepper but overall wing quality was really good. Service: 5 stars - Stopped by during dinner service with my wife and 18 month old toddler. It was not busy at all so we were able to order and receive our food within 10 mins or so. They also obliged in changing the channel of one of the TVs to some playoff basketball per my request. Everyone was nice, patient and friendly. It was also nice to see some of the workers go wipe down the table as soon as other patrons left. They even cleaned the mirrors and little busy work instead of just standing around. This is how you know they have developed a strong culture here. Respects. Ambiance: 5 stars - Stepping in from the entrance, the place looks nice and cozy. A bunch of small booth style seating with a few pull out chairs for high chairs or wheelchairs. There's a huge mirror on one side of the restaurant to make the space feel more open. Tons of TVs for your viewing pleasure while dining in. Overall a nice little pizza joint that offers way more than just pizzas. Bonus points for their restroom having hot water. Most places don't even hook up their hot water to their restrooms. Overall: 5-stars - Will definitely be coming back. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid NY style, family-owned, pizza place that offers pizza, wings, subs, calzones, Italian hot plates and other delicious appetizers and desserts! read more

I did an online order for pizza from Ray's. It was just a few minutes from our hotel. It was piping hot when I arrived. We got two pizzas, and it was way too much because the pizzas are big! New York style pizza with thin crust and large pieces. We tried the Monster, which was loaded with toppings, and the white pizza, which I absolutely loved. Both were delicious. The staff are amazing, nicest people and very accommodating. Great customer service and pizza is amazing. Best around. They do have a bench in the corner where people can wait for pick up. I didn't see it and when I turned around to leave with pizza in hand there was a young girl right behind me and to get out of her way I shifted to the left a little bit and my foot hit the corner of the bench and injured it. I luckily didn't fall but my foot hurts so bad. Please move that bench to a safer location because it is unsafe. UPDATE: 7 days later and I still can't walk on my foot!! read more

I moved from New York to Arizona 14 months ago. What passes for pizza in Arizona is disgraceful. I know the chemistry of the water means everything, but so does cooking skills and ingredients. This pizza brought a tear to my eye, it was so good! I thought I'd never taste pizza the same as I always had it. And, the entire staff, all Italian and family run, omg, it's the best! We enjoyed a half pepperoni half cheese pie and it was heaven. Highly recommend and I'll be a weekly customer for life. read more

Ray's Pizza, for a first time visitor, is as it advertises itself. It's a family-owned business, and one that serves pizza that is enough to arguably feed one person. I went after going to the gym, and was drawn to it by its single slice cheese pizza, which is $4.50 per slice as of June 2025. I got 2 slices. They were big. The family working there was so nice to the point where as I was standing on side, waiting for my slices, one of the costumers tasted his Pepsi, and told one of the workers that it tasted a bit off. The manager working there did not doubt him, he simply said that he would take a look at the machine, and go from there. He also answered his question as to what their Sicilian slices are like. He said that they were perfect for feeding a family and those who love Sicilian style pizza. As the service is great, and as it conveys which audience and people it intends to serve, the interior is cozy and very much reminiscent of a pizza restaurant. It's quiet, and from the demeanor of the worker's, kind and warm. The pizza itself is the same way. It's well-seasoned in spices, balanced in sauce to cheese ratio, and it is worth its price. 2 huge slices of cheese pizza for $9 - $11? It's worth it. I hope to visit them again soon for when I'm craving my pizza. Great place! Nice area, and perfect for families too. Even though I came by myself. read more

Over priced pizza that was terrible! I was so excited to serve pizza for dinner, 2 larges. What a waste of money. I tossed most of it in the garbage. I should have gone to Barrows instead, which is always good! They might have the name Rays pizza, but it's not the same as the original Rays pizza, I am assuming. I never write bad reviews, but this time I was very, very disappointed. People must like their pizza, since they are still in business. Never again for me though, I learned my lesson! read more

We were pretty upset with our order. We paid $80 for 2 large pizzas, some wings, and some garlic cheese bread. The garlic cheese bread was cold. The wings were just okay, not great. And the pizza was horrible! We had guests over and no one was happy with it. We were so embarrassed to have hosted such a bad dinner. It tasted like it wasn't cooked all the way. The pepperoni's tasted raw. No crisp or anything. We were extremely disappointed and will not be going back. The ambiance in nice when you go inside. They were communicative on pick up time. Great pizza and wings! I love the authenticity and uniqueness of their pizza. My parents started going to Rays so many years back, I can't even remember how long it has been. No matter which location you go to, they even might be a little bit different, but the pizza is always delicious! One thing I also love is that the staff staff is always friendly and helpful. The pizza and wings are amazing and their lunch specials are an absolute bargain. I had a slice and a small drink and the pizza was so good. The funny thing is my coworker, that was driving, said I could have whatever I wanted. I chose this Barro's and as we were in line he mentioned that a while back he had a bad experience at another location. After trying the pizza slices he ordered, he said he was going to go back to see if it was a one time thing. This location was clean and it had a salad counter. I still have to order the wings but we were having a quick lunch while making some sales calls so we decided to just grab a slice and go.

The person showed up 50 minutes later as posted very courteous. Being a vegetarian, I was shocked to see pepperoni on my medium cheese pizza . I ordered 1 mozzarella sticks (large). I received 2 large mozzarella sticks. Obviously Barro's mixed up my entire order with somebody else. It was already 7:30 PM and by choice I did not call to complain because it was already so late. I reheated the mozzarella sticks one order and I removed the pepperoni off of two slices. Ugh!

Apparently there was some mix up and our order was handed to other customers, and they needed to recreate the order and then send it out. They did all this, and ultimately everything arrived about an hour after it was initially due. The only thing I could ask differently here is to communicate with your customers before they call looking to find out about the problem. The avert was already known in the store, and the plan for that matter, which they executed. But no communication to the end customer is a big issue.
