Have to take advantage of Barro's when I am out in AZ. Our family used to go to Barro's in CA over four decades ago [yes, I'm that old] and we grew up loving Barro's pizza so a few years ago when we learned the Barro's family business lives on in AZ, we take advantage of it whenever possible. The pizza and wings are amazing and their lunch specials are an absolute bargain. I had a slice and a small drink and the pizza was so good. The funny thing is my coworker, that was driving, said I could have whatever I wanted. I chose this Barro's and as we were in line he mentioned that a while back he had a bad experience at another location. After trying the pizza slices he ordered, he said he was going to go back to see if it was a one time thing. This location was clean and it had a salad counter. I still have to order the wings but we were having a quick lunch while making some sales calls so we decided to just grab a slice and go. read more

The pizza was delicious. We ordered for pick up. Barro special with sausage instead of pepperoni, Barro special on original gluten free crust and a Mega Meat. The crust was so good and the pizza topping perfect. The staff greeted up when we picked it up and were efficient and kind. We didn't eat in, but the restaurant seemed nice, clean and not loud and obnoxious. My gluten free friend loved the original gluten free crust. read more

I ordered online menu medium cheese pizza with additional 3 ingredients of mushrooms, onions and garlic. Plus one order of mozzarella sticks. The person showed up 50 minutes later as posted very courteous. Being a vegetarian, I was shocked to see pepperoni on my medium cheese pizza . I ordered 1 mozzarella sticks (large). I received 2 large mozzarella sticks. Obviously Barro's mixed up my entire order with somebody else. It was already 7:30 PM and by choice I did not call to complain because it was already so late. I reheated the mozzarella sticks one order and I removed the pepperoni off of two slices. Ugh! read more

My husband and I came in for the first time today, as soon as we opened the door we were immediately greeted by a blonde girl with tattoos, she was very nice. Explained everything with a smile on her face and then gave us time to look over the menu, I mentioned that it was kind of hard to see and she gave me a paper menu, she even let us keep the paper menu so we could look over it and even take it home. My husband went to this location this evening to get some last minute pizzas . The minute he walked up to the counter ready to order, the lady working had attitude written all over her face and body language. She was a lady with blonde hair and a tattoo on her arm . She was extremely disrespectful and rude to my husband as he was trying to order our pizzas. We have come to this location many times before and have had no issues before this incident . We where very disappointed and felt the need to take our business elsewhere. I hope this is handled immediately and we can feel comfortable to go back again. The food is always fresh and made how I ordered it. I appreciate the stuff that are always friendly even when it's busy this is how all pizza shops should be run. There's plenty of tables to sit out if you're dining in and ordering online is very easy I go to pizza place if you want some nice fresh pizza that's not too oily. read more

Their slice and a salad is probably the best value of any food I've had in the area in a long time. The truth is if you have two people that don't have real big appetites, like some of us old people, two can eat for the price of one. The Barros Pizza on 59th Ave and Thunderbird was horrible today. I usually love this place due to the pizza not being greasy. It was delivered and I would not of even fed this pizza to my dog. I think the pizza set there since 3:00 as cold and looked like it had been sitting there, then the meatball sandwich was cold and very very dry for a meatball sandwich. We had a group meeting at Barro's Pizza. The restaurant was very accommodating. They sectioned off an area in the dining room for us. Someone from their staff came out to verify when we wanted the food. They also came and checked on us. Food was hot and fresh. Traditional Buffalo wings were my favorite of the wings. The sauce had a nice balance of heat and acidity. Pizza toppings were plentiful. Vegetables were fresh. Crust had a bit of a chewieness to it. I recommend the Desert Blossom tea. Notes of apricot, rose hips, hibiscus, and lavender make for a refreshing summer treat. Parking is shared with the other businesses in the center. read more

The family really loves the pizza from Barros and I enjoy the wings! The food has always been fresh and hot. The wings are huge and plump with plenty of sauce. They are crispy on the outside with plenty of meat. I think they are a top wing place for me. The pizza we usually get is the Barros special with black olives added. The pizza here has a thicker fluffy crust which I prefer a thin crispy crust. It's too doughy for me but that's just personal preference and the family loves it. The prices are pretty expensive as just for the pizza and wings it's over $40. I'm sure we will be back soon for a quick meal though! read more

Ordering through DoorDash doesn't allow you to do half pep half cheese so you have to call in to edit it but when you call in they do not allow that even if you speak the the manager (Chazz) directly. They outright refuse and say a refund must be done through DoorDash which does not allow refunds because the order was placed already. Let's hope my kids don't burn their fingers trying to pull pepperonis off a hot pizza when it all could have been avoided in the first place. read more

This Barro's location hits the bullseye time after time! Our family ordered takeout last night and had several varied items from the menu including gluten free pizza, boneless and bone in wings with different sauces, vegetarian pizza, sausage and black olive pizza, and the antipasto salad. Every single thing was excellent. So good in fact that I called the store to thank them right after getting home from the pickup. Our family eats takeout often and this Barro's always has us covered. We are new to the area and love pizza so we continuously try new places. This pizza was priced pretty reasonably. Super easy to order online. Loved the choices in different flavors of crusts. Paid around just $15 something for the both items including the coupon that covered around $12. This fast food restaurant has okay food. Average taste, not that bad nor too super delicious. The customer service was good though. They do Home delivery too. However, wasn't fan of the dine in area. It was kinda unhygienic. The floors were dirty and felt like it needed a mob or something. Finding good pizza in Arizona isn't easy. It just isn't. My wife and I moved into the Peoria neighborhood and truth be told, this place is close to home. I've had pizza delivered here a few times now since we moved to Peoria. First, they have the capability of allowing you to order online which is super convenient! Their website is easy to use, easy to navigate, self-explanatory and just plain simple. It works. Tonight I ordered a custom large pizza. The entire pizza had sausage on it. The right side of the pizza had mushrooms and black olives on it. I also ordered it with extra cheese and extra sauce in thin crust. I didn't purposely try to make it complicated, but I ordered it online and it was easy peezy. My pizza was delivered in 47 minutes which wasn't shabby considering it was a Friday evening. The pizza came piping hot and exactly as I ordered it. The thin crust was thin without being chewy like old, wet cardboard. The toppings were fresh and the pizza was accurate as could be. Got a coupon for a free pizza for moving into the neighborhood. Called to place my order and told them I had the coupon and asked if it was valid. I was told yes. Then, they took my order but then I was informed I had to pay for the pizza. I asked why they weren't honoring the certificate I received. The gal checked with her manager and I was told they "might" honor it but I had to come in, order, and wait. I don't think so. They lost what would have been a faithful customer. Not cool!
