Jetties is a quick and easy sandwich shop perfect for lunch and catering needs. This one is located on Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase. I visited during early lunch to surprisingly light customer traffic. The shop serves an extensive variety of cold and hot sandwiches and specialty salads. Almost too many to ever have a chance to try most of them. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious, with some options for the health conscious and those with specific dietary requirements. They also serve a handful of traditional sandwich shop soups like tomato, Maryland crab, New England clam chowder, and chili. The ordering process is completed via self-service kiosk situated along the way near the entrance of the restaurant. While you are there, you can also purchase baked goods and hand-dipped ice cream. There is also some indoor and outdoor seating available for dine-in. The dining room resembles a beach setting. Street parking is available. Overall a good experience and definitely a good local option.

Jetties is a delivery staple for us at work. Sandwiches are fresh, tasty and consistent. Yesterday, they forgot my sandwich modifications but it was great nonetheless. I had the cisco (love the caramelized onions) and my coworkers got the dreamland and stilldock.

Didn't have lunch when i saw Jetties pop up i said let me try this . I'm kinda a plain Jane with my sandwich, i ordered roasted Turkey , havarti , bacon and red onions on sourdough. Very very good

Food was meh, indoors is very smoky and loud. The cashier was rude. Can't hear, ESOL, took my mask down so she could hear me and she yelled about my mask. But it's ok to eat with mask off. Get a life. We won't be back. We are outside and left to never return.

I was wary from the reviews, but I had to get on here and mention that I built my own salad and it was just what I was looking for. It was missing an ingredient, but it wasn't one I paid extra for so it's OK! They may have room for improvement but the portion was huge, had fresh ingredients, and I really liked the balsamic dressing!

I am improving my review to four stars. Sandwiches are generally plentiful and delicious. This has become a regular staple to the neighborhood. I'm glad they increased their portion size over the last couple of years. My go to sandwich is the Nobadeer, Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, on sourdough bread. But most of their sandwiches and salads are very popular. Hard to go wrong for a simple lunch at this neighborhood joint.

    Appreciated the nicely wrapped sandwich.

I was craving kebab and this unfortunately did not hit the spot for me. We got lamb and chicken kebab combo (#5) and ghormeh sabzi. The meats were bland and very dry. Usually when I order lamb kebab I expect full of flavor and juicy, but this lamb was TOUGH like I had to really chew and there was no flavor. Ghormeh was bland too and not that many cubes of beef. Pita bread and rice were both good. The staff were friendly but not really helpful...we asked what ghormeh was and he just said it's "beef." I would say gourmet bazaar (Rockville) is much better.

The entree was a bit of a cafeteria style thing, but it fit the bill; the menu says it offers not only tofu but some red kidney beans in a stew of greens with lime flavor, and while I can't think of any similar combination I've had in all my travels, it works. The yogurt they offer on the side is a Persian staple, but what really shined was the fresh bread whose odor wafted through my vehicle as I drove my takeout elsewhere. A delightfully thin and browned creation, it was 100% worth adding despite the fact that they already gave me a massive pile of rice (with a bit of saffron rice on top of the plain white rice). This isn't high-end cuisine, but they delivered distinctive flavors in a timely and convenient fashion, and with a good range of vegetarian choices. Of their other locations in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, some of them offer these stews with tofu mixed in and some do not, though falafel and a few other options remain available.

I stopped by Taco Bamba for happy hour and ordered guacamole and a drink. The bartender was not friendly, and the guacamole was served in a to‑go cup with the chips in a brown bag, which felt odd since I expected it to be served on a plate. While I was still eating, the server brought over the card reader. I told him I felt rushed, and he responded by saying to just let him know when I was done. The whole interaction annoyed me, especially considering how many times I've been here and have never been treated that way. He didn't ask if I wanted another drink, but he was quick to hand me the card reader. The customer service from the bartender was disappointing.

It was really not at all what I was expecting, especially considering the chicken was remarkably dry, bland (I only noticed salt and pepper), and pan-seared/grilled instead of cooked on a spit. This would probably rank among the worst shawarmas I've ever had in DC. My partner got the greek salad with chicken added, which was also not at all to her liking. It had spinach, white onion (why not red??), cherry tomatoes, and minimal feta. It really wasn't a proper greek salad like she was hoping for. On top of all of this, this place was not cheap. The shawarma pita and greek salad with chicken totaled nearly $30. The workers were kind, and the inside had a hole-in-the-wall feel, which I normally expect when going to good greek/mediterranean delis, but the food quality was just so bad.
