Came here for first time yesterday (quick drive from Atlantic Beach. NY). Sat at bar, with a friend. Food was great! Pricing inexpensive for the quality/quantity. Menu extends to hit all "foodies" pleasures. Music, atmosphere, bar menu, and local surfing movie on big screen were all a double thumbs up. Nice chill bar/vibe. Went to watch the game last weekend and loved the environment. The service was awesome and the drinks are all made without mixers etc. also loved the beer list. For an app we had the guacamole and it was super fresh. The bulk of the menu is mostly tapas style so it's good for sharing. Plus the food comes out fast so you can order in waves. Definitely get the fish taco... the best I've had in LB. The arrows are soooo good too. They're like little corn cake that's stuffed. I got the chicken which was bomb. If there was any way to post negative stars I would. I'm traveling long beach island from point lookout to Atlantic beach trying to find the best sangria. Not only was this sangria horrible but when i told the waiter he suggested I try the white, not compliments of the bar and it was equally as bad! Watered down kool aid! Yes. it's a loud, crowded beach bar, but the bar/tapas food is spot on. We had the pleasure of being served by the lovely Allie, who while being completely proficient, also looked like she was part of the party. The two of us shared four small plates, and they were enough to sate our appetite (although we have been fasting intermittently, so it is quite manageable). The sweet/spicy wings were my favorite, closely followed by the fish taco, with fresh wild fish and delicious slaw. The jerk chicken skewers were tasty. Only the side of corn was just average; In total, the bill was about $24 before tip. We will return to try the fame silver orange margarita! read more

First let me say that I really did love Bahia Social Club so I was a bit apprehensive when I heard they were changing things up. Well the change was for the better! Jetty is fantastic. They kept everything that was great with Bahia and improved it. They took the entire restaurant/bar to the next level. Food is still great with some new twists and there is an overall great vibe. The entire restaurant has been redone inside and out and it looks beautiful. A wonderful addition to the west end of Long Beach and a true beacon of hope for an area that was hit especially hard by sandy. I visited Jetty for dinner with friends after a lovely day at the beach. All my friends and I wanted was to enjoy a nice meal together to end our day. This place was a disappointment. A few things come to mind when I think about this restaurant in retrospect: 1. its below average service; 2. its not-so-tasty mussels dish; 3. its average mixed drinks; and 4. its unsanitary interior. I am rarely so disappointed in the level of service at a restaurant that I am drawn to write a review of my experience. The restaurant employees were obnoxious and rude to me and my friends. The food did not taste good. Really, how does a seafood restaurant botch mussels? Steamers are the easiest thing to cook, next to eggs. We won't visit Jetty again and mess up a lovely day at the beach. Do yourself a favor and walk west to the thai restaurant down the street. The food and service there is much better. My guess is that the people who gave this restaurant five stars are either delusional or affiliated with the restaurant. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! After waiting 20 minutes for a table outside, because the music was to loud inside, we sat for about 10 minutes before we got up and left after not seeing a waiter or waitress. What seemed to be the manager was a complete tool, having a grand old time talking with his buddies, didn't have a clue what was going on. This place is chill. I came here for a beer tasting and it was a blast. Everyone was having a great time, it was unlimited all you could drink and eat. The manager was around the whole day to make sure everything was going well. I can not speak for the menu or the other food because I only ate the wings that were good. Beer was great. Very cool renovation of Bahia Social Club (originally Tiki Bar for all you OGs out there) following Hurricane Sandy's destruction. Menu is small plates/ tapas ranging from about $5 - $16. The tacos are really good, as are the jerk chicken and the pulled pork arepas. Wings were tasty, although the hot wasn't very hot. Ham and manchego croquettes were also good. DJ plays good music on Sunday Fundays, and they have a $40 5 hour open bar option every week for the young and reckless. Drink menu makes a good attempt at mixology, with some fun mojitos, caiprihinas, and margaritas. Couple of small negatives...The Jet Fuel $13 cocktail that comes in a neon water bottle is lackluster. It claims to have 5 different types of liquor including 151, but I remained rather sober after 2 of them. Kinda just tastes like a Malibu and pineapple juice. The oysters at around $2 each are not the best quality, and my biggest pet peeve is when they aren't properly shucked. Detach the oysters from the shells so the customer can slurp them up! People don't want to perform surgery on their appetizers! The condiments are served in paper Dixie cups that you would see in a school cafeteria. Totally takes away from the otherwise nice presentation of the food. Also, I don't know why, but I get little to no cell phone service inside this place... Overall, Jetty is a cool fun spot, nice layout, with good food. I will def. be back. read more

Summer is starting in Long Beach! Just left Jettys and it was great. Great burger and fries (cut into little cubes like mom makes!). Fries came with an awesome dipping sauce too. AND $5 margaritas that were sooooo good, and not watered down! Nice crowd,music playing, and with outside seating. Can't wait to go back. read more

Went on the recommendation of friends and a living social special my girlfriend purchased, special came with a beer flight, 2 burgers with fries and an order of churros, the beers were disproportioned but tasty and the burger and fries were pretty good, the churros were mediocre at best, if you were looking for that sugary cinnamon goodness then this is not the place but if you like fried sticks with sparse amounts of sugar and cinnamon then this place is perfect. Also got a jerk chicken skewer for an app that was amazing but the lousy review really belongs to the waiting staff, first nobody sat us down, we were told to sit and a server will be with you, ten minutes later the server came out and looked so thrilled to serve us, then the beers came out which were full of foam and by the time it settled it looked like shots of beer, then the food came out served by what I believed to be bus boys who were much better than our waiter. The food gets 4 stars because I really did enjoy the app and burger but the staff really gets no stars from me. I really want to like this place and hopefully next time I go the staff will treat me like a paying customer. read more

I have been to Jetty a couple times now. Once for just drinks and then another for dinner. This place is great for cocktails and a decent beer selection. The live music is fun. Its a great atmosphere for a beach town restaurant. The food is good too. Not exceptional, but good. However, the portions are small plate style. So between two of us with cocktails we spent around $80. So dinner here is not cheap. Some of the small plates I found to be a fair portion for the price. But a couple were over priced for the amount. For example, In other places we have ordered croquettes for about the same price and recieved more than two pieces. I found $8 for 2 pieces to be very expensive. But its a fun place to go in Long beach and the menu selections are different from other restaurants in the area. So I would return again for live music, cocktails, and some food to munch on - maybe just not for a full dinner. read more

Yesterday was my first visit to Long Beach. After doing alot of walking around, my friend and I were hungry and so we asked a young group of girls where to get a decent bite to eat and drink. They quickly were directed uds to Jetty Bar and Grill, as one option. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken and some empanadas. They were both fabulous! I really enjoyed the fresh crisp salad, tender chicken and tasty dressing. And the empanadas tasted authentic enough to get my approval. we went for a birthday celebration, there was nine of us. we ordered wings empanadas, they were ok tasty. we had calamari that had no flavor.Lets move onto the main course, 4 people had the cuban sandwiches, if I told you there was only one piece of meat on the sandwich barely anything else that is supposed to be on a cuban sandwich. You might as well be eating just bread.
