Had the unfortunate and unpleasant task of being "helped" by Deborah here. Every question I asked, she reacted to with attitude and sarcasm, and without clear answers. If this nasty woman cannot handle a couple of questions, she should not be working in retail: when you're rude to customers in a local shopping area like this, it culminates in less profit for your neighbor retailers as well. I no longer feel particularly motivated to do other shopping in this area, thanks to this experience. If you are looking for reputable, high end/great quality jewelry brands, this is a great shop. They carry John Hardy, Robert Coin, Henry Daussi, Sethi Couture, Simon G, Coast Diamonds, Jude Frances AND MORE. Very nice mixture of jewelry brands and designers. Jewelry types include stackable rings, engagement rings, earrings, necklaces and more. I was looking for a brand I saw on vacation and this was the only store in Ohio to carry the designer I was looking for. Make a day trip out of it and enjoy the local surrounding shops and restaurants in quaint Hudson! read more

The bottom line: This is the ONLY place to buy an engagement ring - Barbara and her team clearly have your best interests in mind, take painstaking time and effort to make sure you are confident in what you are buying, and you leave certain that you have purchased a quality ring which will age well. They worked with my modest budget to create something I am sure my partner will love. The experience: I was so stressed about the engagement ring process until I met with Barbara for the first time - she kindly agreed to an educational meeting (no obligation) to familiarize me with the basic principles of identifying a quality diamond and the different considerations of various ring styles and settings. After our first one hour meeting I felt so much more knowledgeable and comfortable in my ability to make an informed decision. I met with Barbara several times after that initial meeting, beginning with a fun, lighthearted session which included my partner. Barbara presented a variety of diamonds and settings to gauge my partner's interest, as well as sizing her ring finger, taking detailed mental notes about what my partner seemed to like which she shared with me discretely afterwards. It was clear my partner wanted a unique ring which would have to be made from scratch, and once we had the blueprint of what she liked Barbara made a stunning design using CAD software which blew me away - and when the ring was ready it looked exactly like the renderings. Love the store! It's pretty cool with the airy feel of crystal everywhere including the doors... Jewelry is all mostly high designers, Todd Reed, Alex Sepkus, David Yurmin ect. Value is average... Service sucks haha..... everytime I go in which I can count more than 10 only once have I felt treated like a real person... because I'm young they think they can size me up real quick... well NEWS FLASH thats not how real sales are done! Not my favorite jewelry store. Like the other reviewer, I feel like they write me up as young and don't pay me much attention unless I very specifically ask them for help. Or maybe the staff simply isn't friendly or welcoming. On another note, they have good prices for appraisals (30-50% less than Jared), but there's a trade off - they appraise your jewelry for 15-25% less than Jared would. So I guess you get what you pay for in terms of appraisals. This store has lots of pretty, high-end, designer jewelry, but as for purchasing it, I'd rather go to a store with friendly employees with whom I can make a lasting relationship. read more

While in Ohio my watch band pin broke. I took it to Jewelry Art for replacement. It was a non-standard size and took a bit longer than anticipated to have the pin replaced. The staff apologized for the delay and were exceptionally courteous and friendly. Amazing people. read more

I have had wonderful experiences with the services and products from Jewelry Art and recommend them highly. A Hudson resident, I have walked past the store many times, admiring their window display. When my son told me he would be proposing to his girlfriend, Jewelry Art was one of the stores we visited. They immediately stood out from the others. The quality and variety of their engagement sets was second only to the attentiveness and patience of their personnel. He had specific ideas about what he wanted, both in the setting and the diamond. We had numerous meetings with Marissa, who was incredible. His experience was so positive that he thanked them in the video of his proposal. My experience was so positive that Jewelry Art was who I turned to for help in a second celebration. After a devestating accident, my 83 year old mothers wedding ring had to be cut from her finger before surgery. Months later life is much different for us all but that ring needed to be back on her finger. Jewelry Art not only did a great job of piecing it back together but helped us stage a small celebration in their store as my 86 year old father placed the ring back on her finger.
