Jack, the owner, is especially helpful, friendly, and laid back, he is there to help and answer any questions, but never pressures you into purchasing anything. On one occasion I took to him a thin gold chain that had gotten tangled very badly, he worked on it (I think for a few hours!) and managed to get it untangled- he didn't charge me a thing for the service! I thought I'd have to get a replacement ring, or invest in an expensive hinged ring to fit over my knuckle. I brought my cut ring into the Jewelry Mechanix, and within a week, it was beautifully resized to fit over the big knuckle. The ring had a channeled, embossed design, but the repair/resizing was made with such finesse it was barely noticeable. Service was careful and courteous, the price was great ... I will be back!
