JH Moving Services is AMAZING!!!!. So, with the stress of moving I decided to hire a company. There was a few that replied and I accepted JHSM. I regret not asking more questions because it made me wonder who would be moving and what size truck. I had 2 friends come over to help. When they arrived they were very friendly and super efficient. If we helped we would have gotten in the way. They were fast and took amazing care of my belongings. Nothing was damaged and they wrapped everything. I would rate 6 stars if I could. After we finished they were very happy asking if I needed anything else and helped describe the bill. Very honest crew with start and finish time. I noticed I was missing a small Amazon package of silverware. I was going to reach out the next day but they reached out to me that they found it and was asking when they could bring it to me. Five stars all the way! Just finished a grueling 6.5 hour day of moving. From beginning (thanks, Mo!) to the very end, this team is definitely worth every cent! Chen and his amigos are one of the best team of movers I've ever hired. I have a LOT of stuff and these gentlemen were professional, kind and even funny! No breakage whatsoever. Did I mention fast?! Really appreciated this team and their moving services. They were incredibly responsive and flexible. We did have to reschedule our move to one day after we initially agreed because there was a snowstorm, but they communicated this change in a timely manner. They came on time and worked as quickly as they could despite the fact that there was still a lot of snow. They wrapped up the furniture safely and disassembled/reassembled one of our beds for us. Everything that was moved got to the new location safely, and they made sure to roll out carpets and walk on those so that they wouldn't get the floors dirty. I moved from Bellevue to Lake Forest Park. On the moving day, the freight elevator was shut down. JH movers moved all furniture and items by regular elevator. Although the low efficiency of the regular elevators is, JH movers finished the work in a reasonable time. They are also skilled in disassembling and assembling beds, tables, etc. Plus, they also helped me take out the sticky slide of the curtain and clean all debris on the floor. tl;dr - my brother and i were super impressed by JH Service movers! competitive rates, honest family-owned company - you should hire them! we had some trouble confirming the final destination until only last Friday, when the move had to happen the following Monday - barely 3 days left, and having to confirm appointments over the weekend... I've asked for quotes from Yelp ahead of time, and a few companies responded. JH caught my attention with their competitive rates, but i did note they were a very new company. they offered a phone consultation but since i didn't have the final address confirmed yet, i didn't set up time to call. so Friday night, spent a few hrs frantically emailing a few of the companies, submitted forms/questionnaire/inventory lists, and remembered JH and that phone consultation. It was really late, so i left a yelp message to see when we can talk - and i got a response by the time i got up on Sat! i was getting really worried about not being able to hire movers for Monday, but when i got Mo on the phone Sat morning, and she definitely put me at ease --- she was really friendly, i felt absolutely no pressure from her when i asked about rates, discuss how many movers i should hire, if they have any fees beyond what was provided in the quote, etc. it was an unexpectedly comfortable conversation! it was my first time hiring movers - and after answering all the the questionnaires, reading articles in hidden fees, how much each staircase is charged, etc, JH/Mo made it very simple for me as a customer got everything confirmed pretty much on over the phone and text on that same morning - Mo verified the addresses and checked/confirmed with me on specifics. i was able to breathe a bit better. Monday morning, at 8am ***sharp***, Chen and his crew arrived, and worked with my brother on the move while i was still packing the stuff we were intending to move ourselves. Chen was incredibly well mannered - and while i wasn't checking up on their work (my brother was paying more attention), i definitely noticed that they were handling our stuff with care and was very mindful to make sure they don't damage the place. After everything was done - my brother told me the final charge and the experience with the unloading (which i hope he's going to write something on yelp about his experience) - he was absolutely singing his praises, and honestly i felt we were lucky to have ultimately hired JH Service Movers (i've almost missed them!). A very honest company - immensely impressed by Mo and Chen (and his crew!).
