Quick, efficient service, priced well. Only drawback is that the pickeruppers and dropoffers never seem to speak English--so misunderstandings arise. As a person who hates giving bad reviews, this laundromat has really forced my hand. I started coming here a couple of weeks because I saw it on Yelp, and it was close to where I lived. The way one of the staff acts toward the customers here is extremely rude and unpleasant. The two times I've been here, I've seen the staffs yelling and shouting at the customers. One time I made a mistake with one of the dryer machine, and she was berating me in front of the other people in line. I felt so anxious and uncomfortable and I almost had a panic attack. This place deserves 0 stars for the environment and the audacity of the workers for being extremely rude and unhelpful. I went here to do my laundry myself. Every other washer/dryer was reserved for the workers to use. Of the washers and dryers that were available, half of them were out of order. People did not have the manners to wait less than 5 minutes for me to remove my clothes (undergarments and all) from the machines before they had to use it. The workers are part of this scheme as well. When it came to putting my clothes in the dryer, the worker didn't even ask me if it was okay to touch my clothes. She yanked some garments out of the dryer as I was putting them in and yelled at me saying I'm not allowed to dry them here because, "they would start a fire." I argued back in both english and chinese by showing them the tag that stated that it was safe to use in the dryer and I was allowed to "dry and tumble on low heat." Still she threw the cloth pads at me and yelled at me some more. At that point, I resigned and just didn't dry those specific garments. When I came back to pick up the other garments that I dried, of course, the workers already took them out even tho I was right on time. One of the workers had the audacity and unprofessionalism to say in chinese," the bitch is back," to her worker and was intentionally audible enough for me to hear. This place is a wreck and it shows through the shitty machines and people that are there. They are lucky that they have business still and should be counting their blessings that there arent that many options for laundry right now. Once Covid is over, I hope people do not use this place. read more

We used the drop-off/pickup service and were SO pleasantly surprised at how fast the service was. They were very responsive and hospitable. The employee even brought my laundry to the front of my door! Wow! Excellent service A++, won't hesitate to use them regularly. All you need to do is text them if you are within 5 blocks of their location and they'll give you step by step instructions from beginning to end. Crap service. They do not care about your clothes. Notice the multiple Out of Service tags on the washers and driers before putting anything in. The doors on drying machines don't close properly and they blame the customers for the damp mishaps. This has happened multiple times. I washed my clothes here for 8+ years prior to the new management (last few years) and workers and never have I encounter such negligent and undependable service. Save you're money for the other cleaners a block away. read more

Would give a zero star review if I could. Spent 7 quarters at the drying machine and this time I made sure the door was shut tight (based on previous experience). The drying machine boiler wasn't turned on so my clothes were still soaking wet. I've let the two workers there know, but instead they blamed me for not shutting the door tight. They went back to the boiler room to turn on the boiler for the drying machine I was using. They gave me back 3 quarters instead of the 7. I wasted an additional 20 mins. The two workers are rude and so is the owner of the laundromat. read more

Brought 2 of our rugs here to be dry cleaned one white and one yellow. Dropped them off. Went to pick them up and the white one was stuffed down at the bottom of the bag. Pulled it out before I paid and saw that it was very yellow. Clearly they had washed both of them together and the other rug bleed into it. In addition to that, our yellow one is incredibly faded and looks terrible. After arguing with the lady (who spoke almost no English) she called her manager. He told us that he would be in to speak to us about it the next day at 6pm. Went there at 6 but no manager. Another lady was there who spoke good English. She showed me the white rug which they had fixed and turned back to white. The yellow one was still messed up. After all that they did to our rugs guess what they did... Charged me the full amount. I bit my tongue and vowed to never return. Find another laundry mat in the area. There's plenty nearby. We are heading there too where they take responsibly for their mistakes and do the job, that we have employed them to do, correctly in the first place. read more

I dropped my bag of clothing off at 1pm and they were done and ready by 5pm. Most fluff and fold services in the city don't offer same day pickup- but Jie Li's does! Efficient and so easy - everyone inside is so kind, and the service it was SO inexpensive. I paid less for what I usually pay at a regular laundromat (which, as a student, is so nice). I will be using Jie Li from now on! :) Also, the area is great. There is a delicious boba place across the street (some of the best boba in the city!), and it's only a 10 min walk from Spring St Soho. It's a bit hard to find - for all those heading there, look for the blue awning. The laundromat is down the stairs inside the little shop out front. read more

This is my go to laundromat. I just drop off in the morning and pick up before they close (8pm). I like how they fold my clothes the same way every time, so I can just put them in my closet after taking it out of the bag. Recommended! :) read more

I dropped my bag of laundry off at 9am and had a talk with the very kind lady about my different items that can not be machine dryed. She was very accepting and straight onto putting the different pile in a alternative spot so it doesn't get mixed up. I returned at 4:30pm to pick up, and it was ready. It was super cheap at $7 for the first 8pounds (that's washed and dryed and folded) Only downer was the stuff that couldn't be dryed was still damp, not entirely there fault. I've been using the wash and fold service for six months or so. Overall, they do a great job and get your stuff back to you same day if you bring it in at a reasonable time (they close at 8). I have sacrificed some clothes to their hot dryer--- I'm tall, so any shrinking of jeans or shirts is immediately noticeable. I have discovered other people's clothes in my laundry (clean but still, I received a toddler's underwear so does the toddler have mine?) This risk should be factored into the price. Also, stains that could be pre-treated are not, so then set in the fabric for eternity by the hot drier. Be careful what you take here, but if you just need to get some socks and basics washed for the week, its a nice time saver. it is CASH ONLY. Current prices seem to be 10 for up to 10 lbs, then a dollar each pound over that. Don't throw anything fancy at them, but do give a few $ for tip. read more

I've been coming here for years and this place has become awful. In the last year, about half the washing machines are broken, as well as a fair number of the dryers. They are very nice people and it's unfortunate they can't afford to fix the machines, but trying to do laundry here has become an ordeal. I have a triple-load of wet laundry and after a long wait I was given a single machine. That may be the last load of laundry I wash here. That's regrettable but they have made doing laundry here an unfortunate experience that takes twice as long as it should. read more

Fake reviews. The 4-5 stars are from people THAT DON'T LIVE in NY. DO NOT GO HERE FOR WASH AND FOLD. I've been coming here for about 2 years and at times, and many times, they wash your load for only 5-8 mins when a regular load is 25 mins. It looks like a cat or rat pee came back on my sheets. When I called back to complain and asked for a free wash, the owner came back yelling and told me not to come back here if I was unhappy. WHAT? Is this a business? The owner is a cheap money hungry B*tch. I tip her pick up and delivery people well. They also charge hidden fees for a lot of things like requesting to air dry clothes. Why would you get charged if you don't want to use their dryer and air dry at home that doesn't cost them anything? Beware, they rip you off by add 2-3 lbs extra to the final weight so weigh your clothes! I used to weight it bc I wash the same load of just SHEETS every other week and the price varied so much that I started to weigh and fight the extra charge. Im moving to FlyCleaners to stop this headache of a poorly ran establishment. I felt I was a super good tipping customer that wanted simply clean laundry, just like anyone would want. The owner was super rude on the phone that she is making me think about reporting them to the IRS for their CASH ONLY policy. I never wish something this bad to someone unless they really treated me badly. I am going out of my way to report this company on the Better Business Bureau. BEWARE OF THE CHEAP ASIAN OWNER THAT DOES A POOR JOB. DON'T GO HERE UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT YOUR STUFF TO COME BACK WITH CAT/DOG/RAT PISS STAINS. SO FCKING GROSS! read more

This place also goes by the name of Grand Mott on google maps. They might be great with laundry, but I'd look elsewhere if you're looking to clean an expensive suit. I bought in my new, 100% wool suits for their first dry cleaning. Unfortunately, after picking them up, I realized that there is now a scuff mark above the jacket pocket and the suit pant was badly pressed with several long creases running down the outside of one leg. I was going to bring in my silk dresses to be cleaned, but I think after this, I will be steaming them instead. read more

I have been coming here a few months when my regular wash and fold laundromat closed and it's been fine. The other day I came to pick up my clothes and no one was even working there. I waited around for 15 minutes until a different lady in there told me the owner was at lunch and who knows when she would be back...so I just left cash on the counter and took my bag of clothes. It was annoying because I didn't have exact change so I essentially paid extra for my laundry. I don't steal but totally could have just taken my bag without leaving cash. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This has been the worst customer service experience ever. I brought in my clothes to get dry cleaned two weeks ago, and picked it up today. After I brought the clothes back home and took off the plastic wrapping, I realized that the suit and skirt were still very dirty and had the same stains on them as two weeks ago. It honestly looked like no one had even touched it. I had to go all the way back there after I found out. When I got there, I demanded that they clean it again and give me my money back. They wouldn't do that. I asked that they not charge me for the full amount and at least give me a partial refund. They wouldn't do that. I then demanded a full refund, so I could take my clothes somewhere else to get it dry cleaned. They also wouldn't do that. They insisted that it was their subcontractor's fault and that they just have to let him do it again, but honestly, I think they had just forgotten to give the clothes to their subcontractor and were just using the subcontractor as a scapegoat to still charge me the full amount (there was literally no change on the suit). And if it really were the subcontractor's fault, they still should have taken ownership of it and at least given me a partial refund, if not a full refund. If I had an event tonight, I would have been done for because the suit was seriously SO dirty. DON'T go here to get your clothes dry cleaned, especially if you need it back urgently. It seems like the good reviews are only from the wash and fold service and that the dry clean service is terrible. For them to still charge me the FULL amount after they literally did not touch the suit is so unacceptable. I speak Mandarin and argued with them for 10 minutes, so there was absolutely no language barrier. These people are just really shady and SUPER unreasonable. read more

I'm cool with language barriers. I actually think I prefer not having a shared language with workers of the service industry considering my complete disinterest in mutually unappreciated small talk. However, during a dry cleaning drop-off, I'd prefer to have the utmost transparency regarding pricing/pickup time in the most limited amount of direct communication as possible. Went here with a comforter that needed some freshening up... The initial smiles and pleasantries of a woman behind the counter turned slightly sour once it was clear that we shared an inconsistent viewpoint on the degree of thickness of my comforter, which would ultimately affect the price of their service. We both had fair arguments, but I ended up reluctantly backing off amidst her persistent urges that my comforter was of a commendable quality and thus thick enough to warrant the higher price of service. Or at least that's what I think she said. I always get giddy and red-faced when my comforter is appreciated. Came back a few days later on my scheduled day of pickup. There was a different woman behind the counter who offered similar smiles and pleasantries upon arrival. I like consistency in staff, so I was happy to see uniformity in office culture. Unfortunately, though, my smiles and pleasantries were the ones that turned sour this go-around after I was told that my comforter wouldn't be ready for pickup until the following day. I had a receipt that clearly stated pickup time, which freed me from any impending minor argument that I would've abandoned after the first compliment thrown in my direction. Despite another language barrier, I could sense the sincerity in her tone. I ended up having a few more sleepless nights without my comforter before I was able to head back to pick it up. Its first night home, I could tell that the comforter was treated well and properly cleaned, yet I'm unsure whether or not it will ever see the basement of Jie Li again. read more

I used this place once when I was staying at NobleDen hotel a block away. The service here was super fast they got my wash and fold done in less than a day. I live right around the corner and there are plenty of laundromats on the block, but this one is just awesome. They provide free wifi and has tv. I usually just bring my clothes over around noon and its ready by evening time. Plus it's the cheapest one amongest all the laundromats around there. I also like how to fold the clothes nice and neat. They put your clothes into a plastic bag after it is folded and then they put your clothes into whatever you bought your clothes in with. The plastic bag really is awesome cuz there are times when it was raining and the plastic bag kept my clothes dry. read more

Half of the washers and dryers are out of order, and it's a craps shot on which of the remaining machines will work on any given day. I came to New York a week ago and stayed in the area, I needed clean clothes and looked on yelp to find a good and cheap place to do my laundry. Since I'm visiting I didn't want to waste any time and I had them to do my laundry instead. I paid $8 for all my laundry (I think that's what you pay if you have less than 9 pounds) and got it clean, dry and folded in less than 6 hours. I totally recommend this place! One tip: bring cash with you since they don't accept credit cards. read more

Wanted to update this review to reflect these folks' consistently excellent customer service. On several occasions now I've had a special request -- whether a shirt with stains I can't get out or an odd item I need washed -- and they've always met the challenge with flying colors, often at no charge. They will go out of their way to get your clothes just right and to you on time, even at one point offering to open the shop after hours for me to pick up my clothes. Miracle workers. read more

They don't speak English (besides the man) but they are nice. Laundry was folded ok. The shirts had sleeves folded on the front side instead of the traditional way. Had to refold them. Laundry smells just a little from the softener but mostly garlic/onions from a kitchen nearby? Not the best smell when you wear a clean shirt. I'll go there again with my fabric softener hoping they will agree to use it. The result would be definitely better. read more

Great service, cheap pricing and always impressed! You can drop off in the morning and have it ready to pickup by the time you get home.
