    Delicious drinks!

Amazing sushi here!! So fresh and all the flavors come together perfectly. Service is great! We had to try at least one of everything cuisine- Dan Dan noodles, popcorn chicken, chicken wings, sushi and a great plus to have alcohol served instead of having to BYO. The soju is amazing. We always stop by when we are around the neighborhood!

I can't speak to the ambiance or service since we ordered takeout. They had a BOGO deal at the time, so we got 2 edamame and 2 spicy tuna rolls with it. The sake rolls were not part of the deal. A lot of places just have salmon in their sake rolls, so I enjoyed that it also had cucumber. It gave it a tiny crunch without distracting from the flavor. The mango cheesecake was really good. We ate that really quickly. The caramel crunch cake was also good. It does have that salty flavor. I'm more of a sweet person, so I preferred the mango cheesecake.

More than just sushi, has a plethora of Chinese food as well! Got dinner here on our way to the barcade down the street. Though it has a lot to cover on the menu, our foods were better than we expected. Cocktails are a skip since they seemed a bit heavy on the artificial sugars. Takeout orders were flying off the rails while we ate so it must be popular with the locals!

We got jieyi sushi delivered and oh my god it was SO delicious and I really wish I had more photos but we devoured the triple s roll and the California hand rolls so fast I didn't get a chance to snap a pic. We also got spicy tuna hand roll and it was fine but oh my god the California hand roll and the triple s roll were just so good, a generous size and so filling and beautiful I'm simply in awe. It's just classically solid affordable sushi and maybe it hit different in a late night but it was exactly what I needed

    Miso Ramen

Horrible service and food!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I had ordered the miso ramen which was recommended to me but it was really salty. Not once has anybody came to our table to check up on us, we had to walk over to the counter and grab NAPKINS AND HOT SAUCE!! Towards the end when I went to the counter to pay I had decided to not tip and the guy was telling me I HAD to tip $10 just because I ate at the restaurant. I explained to him that I don't want to tip because the food was not good and the service wasn't good either. After going back and forth he told my family and I were never welcome there again. As I was heading out the door the owner? said to us FUCK YOU YOU CHEAPS. It was a tall chubby Asian guy that works there who had told us that.

Ordered take out and was not impressed with the food here. Maybe I should have ordered the sushi instead of the hot entrees. Got the sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, and veggie egg roll. Portions are very large I would say 2 people can share 1 entree. I had to do a double take on my order bc the veggie egg rolls had a very strange flavor as if they had meat in them. They were horrible. The chicken entrees were just ordinary nothing special. The sweet and sour sauce has bell peppers in it and that seems to overtake the flavor. Staff was sooo friendly and nice. I would try the sushi in the future but skip the hot entrees.

Definitely PAN-ASIAN, and not just Japanese sushi restaurant. Serves variety of Thai and Chinese dishes. Strongest performance is with the Japanese dishes. Food: Fried calamari - 5/5 - battered, salty style with jalapeños and variety of dipping sauces, a favorite! Taiwanese popcorn chicken - 4/5 - great but not outstanding Takoyaki - 3.5/5 - doesn't have the typical dried squid flakes nor the white lines Dragon roll - 5/5 - classic delicious balanced Rock n roll - 5/5 - crunchy/crispy and savory with crab, shrimp and octopus; love it! Caterpillar roll - 5/5 - very light, refreshing taste; a favorite Tropical roll - 5/5 - another light refreshing taste but with a little more spicy kick Energy roll - 5/5 - for eel lovers! New York roll - 5/5 - unique flavor, worth a try! Phoenix roll - 4.5/5 - unique flavor, only one without seafood Mellow Yellow roll - 5/5 - great balance of flavors with the mango and salmon Great Wall roll - 4.5/5 - fresh, unique mix of flavor, of fish, scallop, avocado & asparagus Diablo roll - 4/5 - one of the more filling, heavy rolls, but not outstanding in taste Spider roll - 4/5 - just ok, not outstanding Tonkotsu ramen - 5/5 - excellent broth, chashu and poached egg General tso's chicken - 4/5 - good but not outstanding Walnut shrimp - 5/5 - large shrimp; taste like classic style of breaded and sweet Spicy house noodle - 5/5 - delicious savory balance of wide rice noodles for carbs, protein, fat and veggies; spiciness definitely great addition to overall flavor Chinese fried rice - 4/5 - the coloring is darker and not as aesthetically appealing. Adding a little more vegetables also would improve the look. BUT tastes delicious and filled with plentiful, large and fresh tasting shrimp. Pad Thai - 3.5/5 - unusual flavor unlike others and the thickness and texture of noodle is off unlike other other places; not authentic! Pad see ew - 4/5 - love the plentiful and tender beef cuts, but could be better Ambience: Beautiful modern contemporary decor Service: Friendly & efficient. Special recognition to Paul, who is super amiable and energetic.

Whenever my family and I are craving sushi, our go-to spot is Jieyi Sushi! Our usual order: Teriyaki Chicken- 5 sticks ($7.95) Chunks of chicken on a stick. Juicy. Tender. Savory with the sauce combined. Ocean Salad ($13) If you like seaweed salad and sashimi, get this! Spicy House Noodle w/ Chicken ($13.95) Yummy stirred fried rice noodles with veggies. Comes with a slice of lime, which pairs well with the spices in this dish. Dragon Boat Sushi Set ($35) This comes with 8 pieces of sashimi and 6 pieces of sushi, along with a classic maki of your choosing (we got crunchy). Trio Delight Specialty Roll ($14) One of my top faves! This roll has scallop, shredded crabmeat, cucumber, sprouts, topped with salmon, avocado, and thinly sliced lemon. This roll tastes fresh, especially with the acidity from the lemon. Yum! Triple 'S' Specialty roll ($15) This roll is bomb diggity- the staff used to light the foil that the roll comes in with fire, but they stopped doing it. Still taste the same with or without fire, delish! Tasty quality fish. Great ambiance. Friendly, accommodating staff.

I could hear the sizzling from the grill, smell the food cooking, and by that point I was more than ready to eat. Our server was really nice and gave us a bunch of recommendations. Everything sounded good, but I ended up going with the Pork Belly Yakisoba. This dish was packed with flavor. The noodles had that smoky, slightly charred taste, and they were coated in just enough sauce to make every bite rich. The sauce brought a nice balance of savory, a little sweetness, and plenty of umami that soaked into the noodles. The pork belly was easily the best part. It was incredibly tender and juicy, with just enough fat that it practically melted in your mouth. Every piece had those caramelized edges that added even more flavor. Then you get the crunch from the cabbage and bean sprouts, the freshness from the scallions, and the little nutty flavor from the sesame that tied everything together. Hahaha I'd definitely come back. This is one of those dishes that sticked with me long after I left.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered the tuna starter. Sesame coated and seared beautifully. The sauce was light and citrusy. A great starter. We ordered some yakisoba with octopus. It was delicious, with crunchy fresh vegetables, along with the soft noodles and octopus. We got to watch them make it right in front of us! We then had the pork belly okinomiyaki. Again, nice crispy vegetables cooked into the pancake with the oorke belly. Covered in a delicious sauce. They also have a Hiroshima style, which combines the vegetables and protein with a pancake, on top of yakisoba noodles and finished with the fried egg. A bit of everything, and something to try another time. We also tried the mochi donuts for dessert. We were deciding between the matcha-citrus and coffee. We chose the matcha. They bring the freshly fired donut with the matcha-citrus sauce on top, with a donut hole perched in the middle. They also brought 3 donut holes with the coffee sauce for use to try. The donut was hot and delicious, the sauce not too sweet: we rarely order dessert, but this was worth it: I would definitely recommend Gaijin for a unique and fun experience.
