I came here for the first time with my husband to have some work done on his car. When we walked…read moreinto the store it looked clean and appeared very organized. The front desk staff were super nice and welcoming. They were able to give us pricing, availability and also an estimate on how long it would take to have the work done on the vehicle. We were also greeted by the store manager Moe. He was very knowledgeable and polite. We decided to proceed with the services and so we left the car and then sometime later we got a notification that our car was ready to be picked up. We came back to the store and they did a great job! We will definitely continue coming here moving forward for all our vehicle needs! Thank you to the staff at Pep Boys!

If I could give 0 stars I def would…read more I would strongly advise anyone thinking of bringing their vehicle here DONT especially if you are LGBT, but if you need to be sure to get EVERYTHING in writing and make sure you clearly understand what you are authorizing before leaving your car. I brought my GMC Terrain in for a passenger window issue. After waiting approximately five hours, I was told the window needed a new motor and regulator. The quoted repair cost was just under $700 including parts and labor. At first, when they called me to update me on inspection and cost I said I'd need to get it done but was told I would need to leave my car overnight, I couldn't leave my vehicle because I needed to drive home I live 2 hours away. I was told they would reassemble the door, order the parts, and I would receive a text message to authorize the repair before any work moved forward. I called back because I wanted to see if I could purchase the parts myself and have the work done elsewhere. After sitting on hold for about 10 minutes, I decided to get a ride to the shop so I could communicate in person that I didn't want to do it via pepboys. I informed the front desk employee that I would not be proceeding with the repair and would be purchasing the parts myself. She told me she would mark the repair as declined and that they would put everything back together to sit and wait. I sat in the waiting area for approximately 45 minutes before being told by her that because I had initially indicated I wanted the repair completed, the technicians had already disassembled everything and I would now have to pay additional labor to have the vehicle reassembled. This made absolutely no sense to me. I was already paying approximately $100 for the inspection. In my mind, diagnosing a window regulator issue requires disassembly and reassembly as part of the inspection process. I asked them to show me where I had signed or authorized any additional labor charges beyond the inspection. I also asked where I had approved further work, especially considering I never received the authorization text I was told I would get and came in to reject repair post inspection. Instead of addressing those concerns, the conversation quickly shifted away from the actual issue and became about my "lack of respect" toward the front desk employee. The reality is that she initially told me she would mark the repair as declined, but based on everything that happened afterward, it appeared that information was either never communicated or never acted upon. Rather than acknowledging a breakdown in communication, I was made to feel like the problem was somehow my fault. To make matters worse, I was ultimately told not to come back. Trust me, that won't be a problem. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a business handles them. Instead of owning what appeared to be an internal communication failure, this shop chose to argue with a customer, attempt to charge additional labor that was never clearly authorized, and then shift the blame when questioned. If you choose to do business here, keep copies of everything, insist on written authorizations, and do not rely on verbal assurances alone. Also this place needs to have homegirl in the back where she doesn't have to deal with ppl or let her go.. long time employee or not.. you shouldn't be trying to flip anything bc you messed up have some ownership and integrity and own up to mistakes...

For Brian Santos -- I hope you become even more successful. Thank you…read more Honesty. Integrity. Skill. This message is for anyone who values character, peace of mind, and happiness. I'm not very knowledgeable about cars, so finding someone both honest and skillful matters to me. Speed Element was recommended by my friend Ronan, who said this is where "car guys" go. I'm not a car guy--but Ronan is. He drives a Nissan GT-R with full carbon fiber throughout. I don't fully understand what that entails, but I trust his judgment. If he trusts Speed Element, that carries weight. Brian handled all communication and coordination, and from my first message on Yelp, everything was clear and transparent. He broke down pricing and parts in a way that was easy to understand, answered my questions patiently, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Before I even came into the shop, Brian was already helping me over text when my car had trouble starting. Instead of pushing a sale, he suggested trying a battery tender first. That said a lot. By profession, I'm a doctor in rehabilitation and sports medicine. Most people don't fully understand what's happening in their own bodies, which is why transparency and patience are essential when working with patients. I shared this with Brian, and he said he approaches his work the same way. That philosophy resonated with me. The team in the back handled the work--wheel balancing, an oil change, and a battery replacement--and Brian coordinated everything smoothly, even applying a discount. I had a vibration between 50-70 mph, and Brian took a test drive with me to confirm it was resolved before I paid. The garage is open, so you can see the work being done throughout the process. Another small but telling detail: Brian offered to secure my belongings from the car in a safe location. It reinforced that professionalism isn't only about technical skill--it's about consideration. It also helped that we're both Filipino-American, which made communication easier and the interaction more natural, though the quality of service stood on its own regardless. No hidden fees. No surprises. Full transparency. If these values matter to you, go see Brian at Speed Element.

Speed Element is awesome!…read more Kyle has been super helpful both times I've brought my car here. The first time, the team helped me install new wheels and tires on my '15 STI, and they dialed in the perfect alignment. I came back a second time because I needed to track down a boost leak before my upcoming tune. Kyle and the team diagnosed and fixed it flawlessly--no more leaks! If you're looking for a shop that values clear communication, fair pricing, quality workmanship, and integrity, Kyle and Speed Element are the way to go! I will definitely will be back for more work on my car Thanks Kyle and team!
