He helped me diagnose which of the 3 (starter, battery, alternator) was going bad on my infiniti G37. Turns out battery was the culprit. I had a warranty with them, so I was given a new battery. As well as Joe loaned me the tools to replace it right then and there in the parking lot. He also gave me a free dielectric grease packet for the battery terminals and anti corrosion washers. The prices there are a bit more than other places, but I went there for convenience. They seem knowledgeable of their parts. I bought an air filter and needed help installing, which they offered. However, the guy working there was very rude and agitated when he was installing it. Another customer politely came up to ask him something and he said is "I'm busy right now" very angrily. I think they need to work on their customer service skills and patience. I would usually pay more for good customer service, but if they are like this, I rather buy it online. read more

FIVE MF'N STARS for BENJAMIN T?? [islander guy] I'm legit writing this review as he is assisting us with our car troubles. We were on our way to a birthday party when our BMW started acting a bit funny. We make a detour and head into Autozone for some engine oil and thought we'd be on our way in no time. WRONG. We put in the bottles of oil and hopped into the car and she still refused to turn on. After multiple attempts, we honestly decided to give up. Stranded, confused, and frustrated, this couldn't have happened at a worst time since it is legit storming outside. As a last resort we decided to purchase a battery in hopes of it fixing the problem. With 4 employees on hand, everyone is pretty much useless beyond Ben. We waited patiently as he assisted a few other customers before it was our turn. Let me tell you, I finally seen first hand how difficult and labor intensive European cars are. Ben went to work on changing out the battery and legit broke out in a sweat. All while coworkers continuously hounded him with questions and demanded help. This guy handles multitasking like a G!! He spent time to try the fitting of various types of screws to fit the thread on the plate holder. Unfortunately, they didn't fit. So he went to the shelf and looked for those could work. Excellent customer service. I went to purchase a recharge can for my AC. They told me my available options and helped me pick one. As I was struggling with what to do in the parking lot. One of the agents came out to help me and gave me instructions. He needed to go some where (I think his shift was up). So an an older gentleman came out to help me complete the task. The mechanic asked for $190 to do the same task which the Autozone folks did for free. The can cost me $35. Amazing people! Highly recommend them. read more

A few days ago I got a headlight replacement bulb and was going to change it myself with no luck. There was some corrosion and the previous bulb was off center. Not worth the trouble, hit Amazon for your car issues. I went in for a busted side mirror, they said they would order it. When I picked it up, it was only the mirror piece, I explain I also needed the housing, the fuck boy helping me said "make sure to wear gloves when changing your mirror". I went on Amazon while still in their parking lot and found the exact item I wanted in 2 minutes. I return their mirror piece and bought the Amazon product, which was also $50 less than what they tried to sell me at the autozone.... $50 DOLLARS LESS ON AMAZON for a side mirror with housing. Never been to this spot, even though it's about a 3 minute drive from my place. However, when your car battery dies and you need one in a jiffy, then AutoZone is something you'll discover real quick. Service was top notch and they have a billion different batteries. It's like a car battery warehouse. No joke. They also have great warranties it seems. It was a painless experience. The staff seems to be always on point on giving me exactly what I need and what I'm asking for whether it is $1.99 or $199. I like that they give you options and make you feel like they're not trying to sell you something that's more expensive if you don't need it. Came here a few months ago because one of my head light bulbs were starting to dim. Wanted the white light for brighter lightning so staff recommended me the sylvania 9006 after giving them my car mode and assuring me it would fit. Had the staff help me install it as they usually have great customer service. Lo and behold few months later when I'm doing some maintenance on my car and check the bulbs, I find out that what was installed in my car is the old bulbs and the new ones were never put in(well there goes ~$50). I go back and explain the situation but I'm told that this would never happen so I have to go and buy a new pair as I need new bulbs. First and foremost, the 9006 do not fit my car at all even though their vehicle checker says so and I ask if there is a replacement after showing which one I have but they say no. A quick glance on what the have on the rack (9005s, vehicle checker also says it fits my car) shows it fits same port and what happens? It works. read more

Wonderful Autozone shop. They take your used engine oil, filter, and rags/paper towels! They also have friendly staff there! A store employee (I believe by the name of Noah?) was a wonderful store staff that helped me greatly! He was also a funny guy to joke around with. I really like this Autozone because it's close to my house. I came here to get new windshield wipers maybe a week ago. The guy who helped me was really kind and went over all the pricing options for me. He installed them quickly and I was on my way! I've also been here before to get a battery charged out, but they guy who helped me was was ok. There was a couple things he did not mention to me before having me buy a new battery. So if you need help with your car I would stick to the older, more experienced employees than the teenagers ( generally speaking). I've also been here to have my check engine light read and you can do it yourself, then they print you a report of what part you need for free, that's pretty cool. read more

I came into this Auto zone after receiving some not so helpful suggestions at the O'reily's nearby. After realizing the night before that my left rear lights were all out (brake lights, back-up lights, and signal light), I was in a hurry to replace them before driving to work the next day. I went to O'reily's first because they were closer to me, but the guy working very nonchalantly told me to buy multiples of the bulb for my brake light. This turned out to be all wrong and I was only able to change my brake light and none of the others, obviously, since they weren't the right fit. I came to auto zone the next morning after doing some research on what bulbs I thought I needed (i'm not very educated about cars). The woman working (I can't remember her name) let me in before the store was officially open, which helped a ton since I thought I was going to be very late to work. After grabbing the bulbs I needed, I verified with her at the register to make sure they were the correct bulbs. She verified that they were and then gave me more information on why they work. She explained very thoroughly on how to replace my bulbs. I had replaced by brake light the night before, but this was an immense help because she explained that you need to use grease when putting the bulb in. Overall, I had an amazing experience and will definitely come here for more of my car needs. Very happy with the service that knowledgeable sales associates that work here! read more
