I went back to Jiffy Lube to get the oil changed on my truck. What brought me back was a $15 off coupon. When I arrived at Jiffy Lube, I immediately told the tech that I was using my coupon. He said no problem. When almost done with my service, I again reminded the tech about my coupon. He said he would apply it when he closed out my bill. He then asked me for my credit card. When he came back he stated that my receipt would be emailed to me. I asked if he applied my coupon, and he said he forgot. And that his manager said he could not correct the mistake. All he could do was offer me another coupon for my next service. I feel like I have been scammed. Please stay away from this business. It's not the $15, it is just being taken advantage of. Last year when I bought my car and had to get it inspected for Uber, the new management was keen on increasing their ratings. As a result they gave me my inspection for free if I rated them well (the previous management didn't do a good job). This year I decided to go back for the same service because of that history. I arrived at 1:17pm and although the mechanic was supposed to be at work at 1pm, he hadn't arrived yet. I was told that he called and said he would be there by 2pm. I came back at 2:45pm and he never came in. It was then suggested that I go the Jiffy Lube on Balsam (that is another, much better review). Unfortunately, the new management has not been able to fix the problems from the previous management. And the ONLY reason this review is 2stars instead of 1, the honesty of the person I contacted. Avoid this location at all costs. Went in for a simple oil change, upgraded without asking. Then said my front brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. They didn't do the job correctly and I had to come back for them to fix the problem only to have to return AGAIN for the same issue. Not worth the price or hassle. service has gone down a lot , I spend almost 5k a year here with my 3 cars , I was told to reset my own light after several visits without them doing so . they never put the sticker for next oil change either. I was also told they can't do transmission flushes when that's literally what they do . I then got a call back stating sorry the employee is a hot head and we can do the trans flush for you . And he manager is overall nice but doesn't do much to keep the shop going . he mainly just chain smokes cigarettes around flammable materials all day . they need a full new staff quick read more

I took my SUV to this location to specifically have David their mechanic replace my water pump. My car had already been there one day. The morning of Wednesday 5/7/23 David told me, my car would be ready at the end of the day. My SUV mind you is already dismantled in shop and David was working on it. Their "Area Store Manager" came in and SENT HOME for something that is apparently is a normal excepted occurrence at this shop; So why now- Especially when a customers car had been promised and is in PIECES on the floor! I'll tell you why, because we've all seen it folks...it a P-Trip, a person issue , but probably a bit of both. The Area Store Manager had made derogatory comments, and accusations to about their mechanic since day one when my car arrived. The same accusations and derogatory comments have been made to the mechanic as well! Also, this location is extremely short staffed and relies on their mechanic to pick up the slack. My question to the Area Manager and the Owners of this location, "Why send home people, if your so Short Staffed"? Is losing business on your agenda, making your customers pay the price, because that's one way to do it On Wednesday 5/7/23 I stop by late in the day to p/u my SUV, imagine my surprise it's still in pieces, and no mechanic. The Area Manager was there, watched me from across the shop go into were my car was smiled as and said NOTHING! A staff member came and told me what happened! I then left for 15 mina, came back...the Area Manager conveniently left, and the store mgr told me the mechanic was "Gone" till Monday...and my car was still in pieces. Then I get told someone else was coming to work on my car; that is if they" Wanted To". All this without asking me the customer. I am so upset by this. I was to get a discount by the Area Manager when I first dropped the car off, because there was an issue at the shop. I asked the store manager if that ever go applied, and he said no. Manager AGUSTIN SALGADO MOLINA aka Gus has a horrible attitude and even worse customer service. I took my car to get an oil change, he mentioned that I should use synthetic oil. Once I told him I wanted to just do conventional oil and I had a coupon for $21.99, his attitude change. To the point where he had me use the scan tool to scan my own cupon because in his own words " I dont want to use it". When he showed me the oil level, I asked him how come it was pass the FILL mark. His response was "it said 5qt I put 5qt, if you want me to drain some I'll do it I don't give a fuck". Worst Jiffy Lube I have ever been to. read more

They are so proud of their top off service and mention it every time I get my oil changed, I had never used it. My oil light came on and I thought I could rely on them to help me. Even though I use synthetic oil which does not have to be replaced every 3000 miles (in fact replacing that early is a waste of money and bad for the environment) they will work not top of liquids if you come in over 3000 miles from your last service. I get it, it's a corporate policy, but instead of saying something like "we're not really supposed to do this over 3000 miles, but I'll do it this once" It was a hard no and like this it was you get for going over 3000 miles. read more

Fastest oil change I've ever got on my car. The Staff are super helpful and incredibly speedy. My water pump had a leak and I went there to get an oil change and they told me that my water pump was going out before I even knew about it! Once I got my water pump fixed I came back and they did my oil change for me! Ulysses was the staff member who did the oil change and he did a great job. I have taken my cars to the Jiffy Lube on Bear Valley in Apple Valley for years. I have always had a good experience but this time was awful. I waited for 2 hours with out an estimate or any communication and thought about leaving several times. When I arrived there were only 3 cars in the bays or waiting. Once they finally pulled my car in and began to work I was called out to the car. As usual, they wanted to sell me on other services but I only wanted an oil change - overall I have no problem with that. While standing with the attendant he took a call from another customer and was very rude to that person. Once I made it clear that I only wanted an oil change he printed the estimate which was over $98. I questioned it and he stuttered around. I simply asked him to put everything back and I left. I am not sure what has changed but this was such a terrible experience that I will not be back. I have already mentioned it to a few of my friends and will continue to tell people. It was the overall rudeness that really affected me. One had just been there and agreed that the service was not as good as in the past. This is a terrible place. I went there twice until the last time when I drove home, parked in my garage and then in the morning pulled out to go to work. My car stalled twice going one mile. My husband called and said, "STOP" the oil filter was on the floor of the garage and all the oil ran out in that mile. I told them about it and they did nothing. Run!!!!!!! I'm female and went in alone. HUGE mistake! They saw me coming a mile away. "What type of oil do you use??". I am embarrassed to say that I did not know. I say "Did not" because I have learned a lot since I pulled out $151.72 poorer! After "looking it up in the manual" Agustin stated the manual recommended Castrol GTX High Milage SAE 5w20. And wouldn't you know it, there was a package on sale! Just a mear $143.96 (a bargain since it's originally over $200.00, as was pointed out to me several times.) After all, it included Throttle Muscle Synthetic Fuel Clean to "clean out the old oil" as well as Throttle Muscle Engin Scrub., a window wash, brake inspection, and vacuuming the inside. I also paid for an air filter and was told my tires needed to be rotated, and that I possibly needed new brakes (hence the great idea that the high mileage package comes with a free brake inspection!) Now, I will admit. I made the mistake of going in there uninformed. Shame on me! The salesman was good at his job, not his fault. He talked fast, brought out the dirty air filter to "prove" not only that I needed to spend $26.99 on a new one but how poorly I had treated my car. So I agreed. So I was talked into spending $143.96 for a High Mileage, High-Performance package. Using the best oil possible for a High Mileage, High-Performace engine. Did I mention that I drive a 2015 Ford Fiesta with just under 45k miles? But wait! It gets better! It turns out after examining my breaks, I have "over 50%" left. However, I might want to be thinking about new tires. (The tires I have on the car are new). I came out of the restroom and saw my car parked out front. I waited my turn and paid this bill, to be told that the keys were left in the ignition of the car sitting in the lot with the windows rolled down!! Insult to injury? The car was not even vacuumed out. Staff was super friendly, but then again most hustlers are. read more

Still coming to this Jiffy Lube since it is close to work. I like being able to drop my car off and pick it up whenever I have time. The manager there Smitty is a customer service expert. I like his friendliness as well as his knowledge to be able to explain the services in simple terms. This JL is very clean and it is nice especially on this hot day I am here now to have cold filtered water available to the customers. As always the restroom is very clean, no motor oil ring around the sink like at some auto service places. I feel like I get a fair price for the services and that they recommend what services are needed and don't just recommend service to make business. I trust Smitty and the employees to be honest about what services I need and don't need. I've been going to Jiffy Lube since I was a teen with my first car and I will continue to. read more

I regularly get my cars oil changed here. It took me awhile to finally find a place I can trust to get me in quick and not tear my car up and say "it was like that when you brought it in." Most of these quick oil change places have hacks working there. I've been pleasantly surprised by this place. No stripped or gnarled oil drain plugs. No oil leaks after service. I visited Jiffy Lube today for the first time. My experience was excellent. I had been going to another business in Apple Valley since moving here a couple of years ago, however after being given recommendations for work that did not need to be done, and then being charged for work they did not do, I said no more. I experienced none of that today at Jiffy Lube and although they did make a couple of recommendations for routine maintenance , they were reasonable recommendations. This location is bad. I only go for basic oil changes and even then I stand outside and watch and make sure it gets done. But this last time I went, two days ago, the employee tried to sell me a hydraulic hood support rod at a 300% markup. I know this because I asked where he called for the part, which happened to be an auto parts store across the street, and then I called myself to check and he had tried to charge me $60 for a $20 part. And then another $40 for labor. So $100 total for a $20 part. Upon completing the survey and receiving a call from corporate, I received another call from the area manager and he was just as crooked. He basically told me to deal with it, that that's how retail works. So I have since filed another complaint about the area manager and am awaiting a response. read more
