Approximately one month or so ago, I had the honor of giving my comments on "Yelp" in visiting the Jiffy Lube (store #3277) on Kiowa & Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley, CA. Having years of experience as a writer for a newspaper, I value sharing my thoughts and opinions about businesses in our local community; particularly when their staff and workmanship is above the norm. I am saddened to go back on yelp today and witness someone has decided to remove my family's "Yelp Comments". Why? ..... Nevertheless, "Jiffy Lube - Store #3277, kudos to you all for the great service "5 star service" on our vehicle today and being so professional with all the customers in the waiting area". A bunch of lights came on in my vehicle dashboard suddenly. Immediately I checked my oil and it was low. I realized I was behind schedule on getting an oil change. I quickly drove to the nearest Jiffy Lube which was on Highway 18 (not this one) I arrived there before 5:30 and they said nope we can't take you because we have one in the bay (only one bay was open). I usually always go to that Jiffy Lube and I was shocked because that had never happened to me before. I quickly called this Jiffy Lube (on Bear Valley) and asked if I could come in, they told me absolutely, and that policy states that as long as I get there before 6pm they have to take me. I was so incredibly thankful and drove over there as quickly as I could. I got there around 5:45 and they brought me right in. David (I really hope I am remembering his name right) was amazing and helped me out right away, even hooking up a scanner to my car to see what the lights on the dashboard were all about. Last year when I bought my car and had to get it inspected for Uber, the new management was keen on increasing their ratings. As a result they gave me my inspection for free if I rated them well (the previous management didn't do a good job). This year I decided to go back for the same service because of that history. I arrived at 1:17pm and although the mechanic was supposed to be at work at 1pm, he hadn't arrived yet. I was told that he called and said he would be there by 2pm. I came back at 2:45pm and he never came in. It was then suggested that I go the Jiffy Lube on Balsam (that is another, much better review). Unfortunately, the new management has not been able to fix the problems from the previous management. And the ONLY reason this review is 2stars instead of 1, the honesty of the person I contacted. He didn't try to make any excuses, he was straight forward and honest. Maybe HE needs to be the supervisor! read more

Our first visit to this Jiffy Lube center. AMAZING service. We were welcomed by a very nice young man. He directed us to a very clean customer waiting area. The next very pleasant young man came to the counter and explained the services available to us. We agreed to an oil change with high quality products which is standard for them. A very short time later he returned and showed us on the computer our air filter picture which needed to be replaced. A well informed young man with great customer service skills and a true pleasure to work with. The price for services rendered was very good! We will be returning to this place for ALL of our service from now on. It is well worth the drive from Big Bear Lake! I took my SUV to this JiFFY LUBE to have David their "Mechanic" replace my water pump. David is an "Honest Mechanic", who goes out of his way for his customers and his job. David Initially thought my water pump wasn't the issue, since there was leaking else where. In stead of ripping me off and just replacing it- he inspected and verified the issue to insure my ride was safe to drive. You usually don't see integrity in many mechanics, but in David you do! I for one extremely appreciate this quality in my mechanic! This location is very short staffed! David floats and services multiple cars in the day picking up the slack of others and insuring business for this location, while still providing excellent customer service. read more

Where do I start I went in I to see where my car was leaking oil from and GUS AND ELIAS loaded the car onto the jack and right when the hood was opened up they let me know that my exhaust manifold was leaking and quickly gave me advice on how I can fix it. Then they pointed out other things they noticed about the car and gave nice comments about my car made me feel welcomed and they showed Interest in helping me. Then they did tell me how I could fix the leaks and what's the best way to do it. Waited maybe like 25 mins bc they were working on another car. It's NEVER a fun thing to get your oil changed but, I want to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT TO GUS (manager), of this location! I made several calls in the morning looking for a good place to go to and then I called Gus. He was so professional and polite and had perfect phone etiquette . I drove 7 miles out of my way to go to this location and I'm so happy I did! Everyone was polite and organized and professional! It was quick,painless in and out fast! They were very quick and efficient with my cars oil change, among other things! They also made sure that I knew everything else that my car needed to be in peak condition and gave me multiple options for doing so. I've been here multiple times with multiple cars and never had anything but great service! I think people tend to forget also that the employees do not make the prices, and are simply if trying to do their job. They never force you to pay for anything you don't need, and only recommend what they feel needs to be done! read more

I've been a customer for Jiffy Lube for awhile since I was 18, and I've known Smitty (Manager) since then. I've trust him with all my cars services since then. Knowing that I've seen him working at the one next to Kiowa I was happy to see him. I knew my car was again in great hands. The service again is amazing and quick. I want to commend and recommend this Jiffy Lube. I put over 3,000 miles on my car every month. " Smitty" and the entire team are professional every time I visit. The facility is always clean and the wait is usually less than 30 minutes to get the job done. The prices are more than reasonably and the team will explain the needs of the car, if something else is needed. If you want Great Service go to this Jiffy Lube. Got my oil changed here today, great experience! I was greeted at my car door by Matt, who then escorted me into the office. From there Quincy and Smitty took great care of me! When my car was done Glenn escorted me out, showed me the oil level, and then opened my car door for me! I was in and out in under 1\2 an hour. Will definitely go back and highly recommend to others! Really please with the customer service and quality. Quincy was super helpful, very courteous and worked hard to make sure my Groupon was applied appropriately. I also asked for some extras (battery and alternator testing) and received a quick "can-do" response. The lobby provides bottled water and hot coffee, as well as free wifi; unexpected but appreciated extras. I will make this my "go to" spot for oil changes. read more

Well I have now been going to this Jiffy Lube location for the last year. While Smitty helped me out during my first visit in 2017, Gus has been taking care of my cars ever since, I have several cars and they all get their oil changed here. Today I went in and was in and out in no time. Both Gus and his employees are personable and get the job done. Would recommend this Jiffy Lube to everyone. read more

Man! Where do I start. STAFF IS PHENOMENAL very respectful and helpful, great manners on every single person there. Went for an oil change gave me a $13 discount and cost me less then $40. I went to Jiffy Lube on Bear Valley Rd. In Apple Valley, CA for a maintenance oil change. Richie, the mechanic, noticed my car had transmission fluid leak. He repaired the leak for a reasonable price compared to what I would have paid at the Car Dealer. Art the Manager, Richie the Mechanic and John at the Service desk were all phenomenal. I had an awesome experience with this location. Everyone was friendly and answered all of my questions no matter how many (it was a lot ) lol . They have coffee and cold water while you wait and the wait time wasn't very long at all for an oil change. They even helped me with something they really did not have to.
