I had a check oil light come on I hadn't had my car so I drove straight to another Jiffy Lube location Palatine Its the only one I go to and have for years While there I found out my daughter & her Fiancée took my car for an oil change the day (1)before at the Arlington Hts location Cash was paid, receipt given and NO OIL CHANGE DONE they replaced one little filter ! My light was on the very next morning because AH never changed it! The guys at the Palatine location did everything THEY should have done and took a $120 hit because The Dundee location did not make me pay again for anything including synthetic oil which cost more Shame on Arlington Hts ! People have to stop taking advantage of people everyone gets caught! And Arlington Heights Jiffy Lube got caught! Thank you Dundee Palatine location! I can't remember the last time I had such a pleasant customer experience as I had today. Everyone involved was very friendly, professional and helpful. Service was done in a timely manner and they informed me in detail exactly what was what. As far as them going the extra step of the way----today was very hot and humid and I told them I preferred to stay in my car even though they have an A/C waiting room, I'm on oxygen and would have needed to move my portable oxygen into the waiting room with me, which I preferred not to do. They took it upon themselves to move a big portable fan and point it in my direction so I could feel the breeze thru the open car windows and stay cool. I also appreciated the fact that they didn't try to sell me any extras that I didn't want. I will be going back there for my car needs and I suggest that you do too. read more

Went for a oil change that almost ruined my car. Instead of changing my oil, they just added oil to my existing oil and over filled it. Went home and checked the oil level and to make sure it was clean and to my dissatisfaction I saw the oil was at twice the level it should be. They also didn't fill the washer fluid or add air even though he assured me he did. Thankfully the Jiffy Lube in Rolling Meadows came to the rescue! Thank you Randy. read more

I went in for an oil change, which, since my car requires synthetic oil is already expensive. But then they told me I needed to have my air filter and cabin air filter replaced. So I said yes of course. Then I was told I needed something called front differential service. I assumed they were the experts, and if I need it I need it, and said yes. The person at the counter didn't offer or ask if I knew what any of it meant or try to explain. Could I have asked? Yes. But I felt dumb asking. My jaw dropped when I finally had to pay about $300 when I went in for an oil change! Had I known that I didn't really need differential service, which I later found out, and had been told the cost when being asked, I'd have said no. Having said that, they did a great job cleaning the interior. This was an insanely expensive experience, and I won't be back. read more

The manager James never verified the oil type just assumed. Money is tight right now so paying the extra amount for the fully synthetic instead of the partial synthetic hurts the pocket especially in times like this. I took my car to jiffy lube to where the main desk woman had a dog behind the counter without being caged or had a leash on. The dog was barking and whining as I waited in the waiting room. I will never return to this establishment. I was lied to about needing synthetic oil . I paid twice as much on the managers instance. The same day I went to my Nisson dealer and was told I absolutely did not need synthetic oil. I went right back to Jiffy Lube to speak to the manager and he argued and told me to google it. That was his explanation. I offered to call my dealer and he refused to listen to me. I left and will never return again. read more

Being used to a $20-25 oil change, this place was quite a shock to my wallet. These boys tried to upsell me a $65 oil change. Awww heeeellz no. Is that what oil changes go for? I don't think so. "You need partial synthetic oil if not full synthetic." (first time I was ever told this.) I guess, if you're going to take $50 of my dollars, at least give me a waiting room that looks like it was cleaned before 1994. I only stopped here because I didn't want to venture 10 minutes further north to my regular stop and because it was next to the car wash I enjoy. I'm left feeling "it was a-ok." I've been here twice with no issues to speak of. They ask all of the standard up-sell questions, but they didn't pressure me to purchase anything except what I wanted. The first time I went, I double checked the oil levels the next day. They appeared to have filled my oil all the way, which doesn't always happen. I was pleased. The most recent time, I went straight after work, which I thought would be a peak time, but I was the only car there. They took less than 15 minutes to complete the oil change, which was great. I forgot to check the oil levels after this time. The staff was courteous for the most part. When they informed me that my tires were over-inflated, however, they suggested that my husband or boyfriend look at them. I was a bit offended that they assumed a woman couldn't check her own tire pressure. The location is so convenient, and the service is perfectly adequate, so I'm sure I'll go back. I'll be prepared to give them a piece of my mind about the capabilities of an independent woman, though! read more

I am glad I chose to stop by this Jiffy Lube for my most recent oil change. The staff was friendly and worked quickly. I was getting my car checked up before heading out on a 1,300 mile drive to move cross country so I wanted to be sure everything was in working order. That being said, I'm generally wary of folks trying to unnecessarily up sell me. Nick and the other man working on my car (forgot his name) took the time to explain why certain services were needed (mainly transmission fluid flush). I was pleased that they explained everything clearly without assuming they needed to "dumb it down" like I've experienced at other shops. I'll admit Jiffy Lube charges a little more for their oil change service, but it's not unreasonable and they usually have coupons available on their website. In all honesty, I trust their work, enjoyed their company, and I like having my car vacuumed out and windows cleaned as part of the service. If I weren't moving out of state, this would be my new go-to shop. I had fun chatting with everyone on staff. They all have a great sense of humor. read more

This is probably the best Jiffy Lube I've ever taken my cars too in the whole Chicagoland area. George the manager was extremely helpful along with his staff Ji and Mike. My 2017 Maserati underguard clip broke off and he immediately took the car in the smelting heat and fixed the cover. Mike and Ji are super helpful as well and the way the staff treated me here they are going to be my future go to place for any issues with my other vehicles. I've been to many Jiffy Lubes but not like this one where they are HONEST and super dedicated to the work they do just like George, Mike, and Ji was. Thanks guys! read more

BEWARE!! This place is a total scam! My husband went in to have the oil changed with a $10 coupon...in typical Jiffy Lube fashion they asked about filters, more this more that and my husband kept on saying "JUST THE OIL". He dealt with one of the managers who was very rude. My husband paid $52 and asked for a receipt. "OH WE EMAILED IT TO YOU" 24 hours pass AND NO EMAIL. My husband returns and demanded the receipt so he can see why he got charged that much money. Spoke to the same person, who didn't even remember him and COULD NOT FIND the receipt...my husband was not even in the system, like he wasn't even there. My husband proceeded to tell him to produce a receipt or else he will call the police. At that point the manager told my husband to leave and kicked my husband out!
