This location is so underwhelming and the staff was not attentive to the customers at all.I have visited Jiffy Lube for as long as I can remember but this location just does not flow well. In the past year I came and tried to get a oil change but at that time they were backed up. Today I went by during my lunch hour and I was informed it would take about 20 minutes which was great because I had an hr lunch. I came back from lunch and my car still had not been docked in the garage. I was also left with an uneasy feeling when everyone in the garage seemed to be doing their own thing and not working as a team. There was just a huge lack of communication which which consequently made me leave once again without an oil change. I do use the Jiffy Lube at Slaughter and Manchaca and they are great and efficient. I just hoped that this location would be the same. read more

These guys were so FAST, HELPFUL, and FRIENDLY!! Even directed me to their online coupon specials to help me save a little money. I had come from waiting for an hour and a half at the crappy blue big box store only to leave without service as they claimed they lacked the tool for my oil filter. I was in a terrible mood, but Horacio took great care of me and the guys got me out quickly. They had the AC filter I needed as well. brought my car in for its first oil change and the oil filter never got replaced...would not trust this place again. since i didn't check the oil until a month later i can only assume the oil wasn't changes either....follow up.....i sent jiffy lube the information they asked for and they never responded they just wanted to make it look like they had integrity. they just don't care. read more

I am not impressed nor happy with jiffy lube not sure where these people that gave good reviews went. But I had a very bad experience with jiffy lube twice that is why I am writing this review. The first was not as bad they did not tightens the screws and oil leaked, but they fix it. Second was worst, the not only did not tighten screws but lost 3 of them, oil leaked into pan, I went back to complain, and the 3 men that were working there, were not helpful instead told me I hit something and caused the leakage. Short story I took it to Honda shop they found the wrong oil was put into the transmission and it was cracked by force, I did notice when I went back to complain the guy at the bottom was making a lot of noise but not sure what he was doing. Anyway $749 to fix it, short story I went in for an oil change came out with a transmission problem. I will never go back again and I informed all my friends and family be careful your choice. read more

Every time I try and get a inspection they have another excuse as to why they can't do it. Yesterday the tech was sick, today they say it's raining and can't perform them. There's no law stipulating inspections can't be done when it's raining. I asked the guy if I could leave the car just incase it stops raining and his exact words "we've looked at the forecast the rain ain't stopping" smiling with his gold grill teeth. Well guess what, it stopped raining and it's only been 45 min since I was there. This place tries to avoid state inspections at all cost. And so does other jiffy lubes. The state should take way their ability to do them since they obviously don't like doing them. Save your money and take a trip to Firestone where they treat you right and don't lie to your face. read more

I am VERY satisfied with how they resolved the problem and impressed at how I was treated! I went to this Jiffy Lube because the other times before I was impressed by the personable attention and professional service. I have a 2003 Corolla, with close to 100,000 miles. This time I had the transmission fluid exchanged and oil change done. I received th same personable attention and professional service. Afterwards, I needed to go to the store and noticed on the garage floor, a puddle under my car . I could tell it was transmission fluid. Unfortunately, the JL location had closed. I waited for the next day and called. No questions asked. Instead he found my invoice and told me he would contact the manager. They called the manager, who then came to my house in person and checked the car and the leak. He even brought absoption materials to soak up the fluid. He told me that the plug did not fit back into the transmission pan correctly. He made sure it was safe to drive my car back to the JL location. The manager himself located a new plug for my car, after driving to several auto parts stores - he ended up at Lowes. They had to completely drain the fluid out again, and refill, but this time the plug worked. The manager and employees went above and beyond what I expected. I would recommend this location to anyone. read more

They got me through pretty fast, the sales guy wasn't trying to upsell on anything I didn't need, and they clearly knew their stuff when it came to what would be the best option for my car. read more

I'm new to Austin so I was looking for a convenient and reliable oil change place. There were a line of cars but still got my oil changed under an hour! Yet, the manager left for whatever reason and took my car keys. It's been at least 30min since I've been waiting to get out of here. I recently bought a Groupon for an oil change and Tire rotation. I barely had to wait and the staff was extremely friendly. Brandon, the manager wrote me up and I was on my way in no time. Unfortunately, soon after I left, my car over-heated and I was stuck on the side of the road. Naturally, I was pissed off and called Brandon back. To my surprise, he didn't even blink and offered to come across town to help me. He came out in his own car along with another manager to help diagnose the issue. Brandon even waited with me for 2 hours for the tow truck to arrive and made sure my car was drivable again. Its not too often these days that people take responsibility for anything and appreciate their customers. Brandon went above and beyond and deserves some recognition for his actions that day. Even though I had a minor issue I will be sticking with this place for a long time. read more

I called 3 places about getting a state inspection. All 3 had the same price and about the same wait time (30-45 minutes). So I went to Jiffy Lube on Ben White as it was the closest. I pulled in at the same time as another guy in a pickup truck who was also getting the inspection. The guy who came out to my car was friendly and told me I was just behind the guy in the pickup. He estimated "at least" 30 minutes to wait. I parked my car in the space he directed me to and gave him the keys. I went into the office to see if I needed to fill anything out and the guy inside said no. I said, "So I can just come back in 30-40 minutes?" and he said, "At least." Fine. I went to get breakfast next door and came back. The guy in the pickup was finished up and went on his way around 45 minutes after arrival. However, my car remained in the parking space while I watched an attendant go move another car that was definitely parked AFTER I arrived into the bay to do a state inspection. In fact, I didn't even see that car next to mine when I came back from breakfast. By the time my inspection was finished I had been there about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Compare that to the guy who pulled in to the lot literally right in front of me and left an hour earlier. read more

I never thought I'd be so impressed with the service I received from an oil change station. When I first arrived the manager Jeffery came out to make sure I got the best deal. I asked him a few questions about the oil so he asked me to pop my hood. He notices my coolant level was low and had his garage top it off as well. While I waited, the manger, Joseph explained some things about the types of oil relating to the types of warranty's some cars have. I thought that was especially personable of him. While I was waiting I noticed Eric, the tech, actually washing my window and vacuuming my car while Frank changed my oil. I couldn't believe it. This may sound like the most over done contrived review on yelp especially for an oil change but, like I said these guys were just super nice and even denied the tip I tried to offer them. read more

They're quick, do a fine job, and the last time I was in there the manager, who I think was named Lon, gave me a pretty honest assessment of things that needed to be done with my car, including letting me know when a few things could wait until later or that I might be able to do myself. This Jiffy Lube is near the house and on my daily commute. Although I would normally change my own oil after hours at work, the shock of our sudden onset of summer has made the idea of an extra hour in the shop unappealing. Since the oil change supplies have been riding around in the truck for a week, it would appear that I am not too into it, so hell, just have the dudes down at Jiffy Lube do it. The good: I feel like the place is working hard for my business. Whenever there is a lag in the shop, the managers have the guys out by the access road waving at traffic and holding signs advertising their specials. No hanging around out back smoking at this place. When you pull up, they are on it, asking what you need done and escorting you to the tiny waiting room with offers of complementary water and coffee. The work was done quickly, without any pressure for other services. The bad: Why two stars then? I took my own supplies along, (the type of oil and filter I prefer) expecting a service charge for the work minus the cost of supplies. I have done this at other shops, so I did not ask for a price up front. Nope, the same charge for the work, whether they supplied the oil and filter or not. Apparently the "Premiere service" is flat rate. Lame. I felt like this was a case of corporate-chain-franchise inflexibility, there is always a rigid "special offer" or "promotional deal" at these kind of places. The next time I find myself too lazy to change my own oil I will take my business to the local independent guys. There are too many good shops around for that kind of indifference. read more

I was in and out in literally half the time I expected, also after going over what my specs indicated might be coming up by way of service needs, and was able to go over what I had done elsewhere within the last couple years.
