This morning I made sure to get to Jiffy Lube right when they opened to take care of business. I needed an oil change for sure and I had to get the DEQ service as well...Once again I forgot about the registration renewal. Thankfully this time it was just two weeks. I decided to get the oil flush service this time since I had passed on it for ~60k miles. I also knew that there were multiple lights out. There was a little bit of confusion between the employees on this, but eventually got resolved. Honestly I was expecting my car to fail the DEQ, but thankfully it passed so all i have to do is go online, pay, and boom. Registered for two more years. The price was about $240, but considering all the things that were completed, it was a decent price. Especially since i can't do it myself. I am thinking about changing that. read more

I went in yesterday to get my oil changed. There is a woman there named Shelby who was amazing! She told me that it would probably be a 40 min wait or so just to get into the bay, but suggested that I leave my keys and she could call me when my truck was done. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for years and have never been offered that courtesy. I was able to go grab a quick lunch nearby, while I waited and she called me 10 mins early to tell me my truck was actually all done! Shelby was very nice and professional. Every Jiffy Lube location should have an employee just like her. I will definitely continue to come to this location from now on. read more

Overall I believe they are reliable and quick, but the value is not there. I came in and was helped quickly and had great customer service but the price of an oil change here is not worth it. However, if you appreciate being able to just drive in, take advantage pf the free top offs, and don't have a relationship with your own mechanic it can be a reliable option. read more

I went in for an oil change, and told several different guys I had a $20 off coupon. They said "no problem". Manager rings me up, charges me the full price. I ask him to find a way to resolve the issue and he says that he is sorry but that they cannot issue refunds of any kind. He politely offers to call his manager, and figure out how they can give me back my $20. It's $20....but, I was promised up and down that someone would be in touch with me in 2 days. A week went by. I called them, and the man I had talked to wasn't available to chat. And very unsurprisingly, I never heard back. I would like to go to this location again since it is right down the street from me, but clearly they are disorganized which makes me wonder how organized they can be while fixing your car. read more

Owned Their Problems / Above and Beyond in Resolution Background / Problems: Took my car in impromptu driving past and seeing there wasn't a line. I needed to get a standard oil change. Drove in. Bought the pre-paid tickets for Blend Synthetic Oil prior to coming in on shopjiffylube.com. They could not accept the coupons upon receipt because they put full synthetic in, so I had to purchase another package of 3 Full Synthetic for my car. As it was the weekend, I could not exchange the coupons. In addition, about 30 mins after I leave the establishment and I observe that the turbo in my car sounded like Fast and the Furious. While I would have loved this back in 2002, I am now a dad of 3 and really like my car to simply deliver. I couldn't get back to the JL, I simply thought it may have to do with an oil change, etc. Took Care Back / Got Resolution: I slept on it for a day. I came back on Monday to have them look at it. Jacob diagnosed that the JL technician did NOT screw down the air filter. During the diagnosis evaluation from Jacob, Skyler gave me assurance and comfort that they would do what's right. Also, upon admitting they made a mistake, Jacob, Skyler, and the team went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. They put a hydrophobic coating on my windshield and purchased new windshield wipers for me. Including having to go to a local auto parts store to get me the right size. This is all possible as Wacy gave these guys the empowerment to make it right, and that is a lost art. That was awesome. I make mistakes in my job, I am glad these guys made this right. Also, I was able to email shop jiffy lube and return the extra package with a simple email. They called me and had things tidied up within an hour. No problem. I appreciate them doing what was right. This place is horrible. They said they serviced my car but nothing was done. I went there to have my oil changed and coolant replaced. Afterwards, they said, "did you know your oil is leaking?" WHAT? My car was never leaking until y'all serviced it. I took it to someone else and to find out, the mechanics at jiffylube, left everything loose. The bolts and caps were unhinged which caused the oil leakage. They never repaired a DAMN THING!! I paid for services that were never completed. I got scammed!! Plus, they wanted to charge me an additional $350 to repair something that never needed to be repaired to begin with. Hell no!! They are negligent and apathetic. They worked on my vehicle for 2 hours to do what, mess around? They just saw someone who they could take advantage of.... Steer clear from jiffy lube, specifically this location. Instead of vacuuming the front seat floors, actually do your job as a mechanic and repair the issue that I requested. read more

I'm sitting in their waiting room nearly an hour after being told they needed 20 minutes to do a break fluid flush and fill. Someone came in to tell me they were looking for a part to do the job and it would take another 25 minutes. I told them to cancel the job because I'll be late back to work. They said it's in process already. The math doesn't add up. They initially needed 20 minutes, now the job is partly done and they need 25 additional minutes? In the meantime, I can hear the employees yelling at each other and some sort of liquid is running out onto the pavement outside. Never coming back here! read more

I went into Jiffy Lube today to get a basic oil change. I pulled into the shop and was told by a mechanic that I pulled in too far. He said "In male language, I need you to move back 14 inches, but in reality that means you need to move back 8 inches." So my oil change was started with an unwanted penis joke. This same mechanic was speaking to another mechanic about how he thinks masks don't help and that they inhibit his oxygen levels. At one point a mechanic was diagnosing my check engine light (so he was close to me with the door open) and he did not have his mask on. Granted, masks are strange and we are all getting used to them and it's easy to forget BUT he was two feet away from me and should have been wearing it. Partway through the service, they asked me for some information about the car and I told them I needed a moment to find it. The main mechanic helping me walked over to the other mechanics and said loud enough for me to hear: "she needs to call her Daddy" and the other mechanics chuckled. I'm 28 years old and my Dad is dead. I wasn't calling my "Daddy." It should be possible in the year 2020 to get a basic oil change that doesn't come with a side of misogyny and condescension. read more

Went in to have my tires rotated and oil changed. We were told it might take up to 40 minutes to do, but we ended up there for two hours instead. When my boyfriend asked why it was taking so long, the guy in charge of my car looked at the ground and told him that they had trouble getting the keyed lug nuts off. Considering the guy looked at us every other time he spoke, I'm pretty sure he wasn't being honest. It also took an hour for them to even start on my car, so blaming my car seems silly. At least three others were in and out after we got there, including customers that the Jiffy Lube employees appeared to know. They also only honored the price advertised on the wall (about $15 under what they quoted) after we complained. We were told that corporate hadn't updated their poster yet, but changed the prices. I'm going back to Oil Can Henry's next time. This was a ridiculous waste of our time and the customer service was terrible. read more

The staff were very friendly and conversational. The only issue I have ever had with the company, which is common to any shop, is the constant need to up-sale you. When you go in for a simple request, you can never get out without the constant barrage of additional services that you just need to do now, even with a discount on them. The mechanics discovered that while rotating my tires Jiffy Lube had left off FOUR lug nuts on my front driver side tire!! Are you kidding me?!?! I've been considering looking elsewhere for oil changes for our small fleet of vehicles due to an increasing apathetic attitude from the other local Jiffy Lube. I spent over an hour having a basic oil change the last two visits and was quoted 1.5 hours this time (leading me to look elsewhere). Upon pulling in to the Canyon Road location Ariel met me and got right to work. It was apparent that she was working with a green crew, but expertly handled overseeing multiple services simultaneously. Less than 15 minutes later she was guiding me out of the bay and I was on my way. When I complimented her on her management of the store she said she has only been there a month or so; Super Impressive!! We will now be taking all of our vehicles to this location. read more

I just needed my headlight changed. They made me move my car so a car from another lane could go ahead of me and they also closed their third lane shortly after that. It should not take 2 hours for a headlight. I can't even leave, I'm blocked in. Update! On the good side they're cheap and quick. On the bad side the people who work here are scoundrels and will try to cheat you or get you to pay for services you do not need. You must stay on top of them!! They claim that their computer systems (between locations,) are not tied in together and will try to get you redo services that you did at another location. They do not follow your car manufacturers suggestions for oil changes. Most new cars are in the 5000-8000 mile range between changes, they still insist on 3000. If their computer does not show that they personally have done a transmission flush, they will pull the trick of dipping the transmission stick into the oil to get it "black," then claim that since it's black it needs to be replaced. This is true, but when I changed my transmission fluid myself 15k miles ago, it doesn't need to be done. They have tried this trick on me at least four times. The one time I did let them go ahead and replace my transmission fluid, they forgot to put the stopper back in. Caused $6000 in damage that they would not reimburse. Take your transmission needs somewhere else and have it done properly as they don't have the correct equipment to do it right anyways. They will gladly replace air filters, watch out though as their filters have anywhere from 200% to 500% markups. Much of the time when they do "replace" them all they do is wash them out, yet still charge you for a new one. This is extremely easy to replace yourself, and 90% of the time the guys at the auto parts store will gladly show you how to do it. You can also wash it out yourself. Do let them replace tail lights, head lights, and license plate lights. Their prices for the bulbs are a bit high, but the labor and time involved is not worth doing it yourself. Plus getting to the lights in the first place can be an exercise in frustration. BUT, make sure that the light is actually out! They like to lie to you that they're out, when they're not. The customer service itself is quite excellent, almost to the point of being really annoying. This is despite all the upsells and tricks they pull. If you have doubts about something needing to be replaced or service done, get a second opinion from someone else. read more

Thanks Gabe, you were outstanding in your customer service and direction to what I can only assume is your staff. You did an amazing job juggling the three bays and several cars waiting. I didn't see stress or boredom on anyone from staff to customers. Way to be! Even handled some minor needs to customers not in the bay's, like tire pressure.. Etc. I left for 20min to get a drink and take a work call. Upon returning I was told no work was done. Because I was on a break from lunch I left and realized that if you are not there for an upsell (they try to talk you into paying more) they won't do the work. Jhon was my service attendant last week when I went in for my regular 5,000 mile oil change. I normally get service at a Jiffy Lube closer to my home in NE Portland, but I was in the neighborhood and wanted to replace my wiper blades, too. Despite a longer than usual wait to get service, I came away satisfied and able to recommend that others go to this location, too. Unlike the other reviewer's experience, Jhon did not negate any of the recent service I had already had at my last Jiffy Lube visit. He clearly showed me the prices of the oil options available and confirmed all of my choices with me. When I asked for wiper blades, he showed me two options and talked me into the more expensive wiper blades by offering me a treatment of Aquapel for free on my windshield. The words that sold me were that he said it would make night driving in the rain easier. (I drive every evening, and it almost always rains for months in Oregon, so the idea of making it better was worth a shot). I took him up on it, and I'm SO glad I did! Aquapel is AMAZING! I just drove home in the dark last night in non-stop rain and my windshield was so clear it was incredible. I felt so much safer driving, had terrific visibility and reduced glare. The windshield wipers are great, just like Jhon said, but it was the Aquapel that's truly magic. I'm so glad I listened to you Jhon and that you made the offer. I'll definitely be back to get more Aquapel treatments on our other family vehicles. read more
