I went to this Jiffy Lube with a little hesitancy. Yelp showed mixed reviews. One of my sisters loves their service, but her budget is a tad larger than mine. With limited time - Sunday - and a smaller budget, I figured it was worth giving them a try. I am delighted I did. The staff were professional, polite and informed. Did they ask if I was interested in services I had no need for? Absolutely. That is a given at most automotive service centers. They offer you things you may need on the off chance you forgot about it. Not a big deal. I declined added services. Pluses: I called ahead to confirm the wait time. The rep said wait was ~ 1 hour. Actual turnaround time: 30 minutes. With the online coupon, total came to $42. Good deal for a LOF any day. Excellent deal for a LOF on a Sunday. Cons: It took 30 min. I am spoiled. I live in the Bay area, where there 9 minute LOFs for $40 with frequent LOFer cards and discounts. read more

Well now I know where I am going to get my oil changed. These guys got me in and out with in a half hour and I left with not only a vacuumed car but a lot more. Chris was the one who helped me I think. I had gone on a long car ride here from Idaho in my car which is a bit older and not as dependable as a new one fresh off the lot but still gets me where I need to be. Anyways my car started making a rattling noise along the way and worsened as time went on. I was concerned about how long this car was going to last but low and behold these kind gentlemen not only changed the oil and vacuumed the interior which I might say was a job well done cause I chew sunflower seeds while I drive, especially on a long car ride and there were none left behind but they actually fixed the rattling noise by tightening some hardware down under the car. Very impressive and courteous service with a smile at an affordable price. My oil change was the same cost as a full tank of gas mind you. But as you read I got more than just an oil change. We are talking about the interior to the engine down to the tranny. Great work guys!! Next time I need an oil change I'm bringing you in n out. read more

The oil change was OK but my objection is that when I brought my vehicle in they assured me that I did not need synthetic oil, then when my vehicle was at the changing station they said that I needed synthetic oil. I felt this was deceptive. I am looking for a lube center that I can have an ongoing relationship with. This is not the place for me because I value honesty over price. read more

This shop has very good customer service. HOWEVER I will not be returning here due to their employees being over worked. Lately with the three different cars I have taken here. There has only been one or two employees for a rush of cars. It is taking too long and is NOT fair to employees. read more

This location is extremely convenient and I've never had to wait for a long time for my car to be serviced. When I've been to this jiffy lube before I had a perfectly efficient experience. Definitely no complaints but also nothing really stood out; after all an oil change is an oil change. However, today the customer service I received was absolutely incredible. Another simple oil change, but this time Jeremiah helped me and he really went out of his way to explain things to me, and gave me advice on the best way to treat my car. Also, I wasn't the only person there getting their car serviced and I noticed Jeremiah giving the same quality of service to the other customers. 10/10 amazing experience and I plan to take a lot of his advice during my future visits. Definitely call ahead and make sure Jeremiah is working if you're in need of this type of all around service. I will also add that all of the other people that I've encountered there are very nice as well, Jeremiah was just extremely thorough and I really appreciated that. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGE HERE! Went in for an oil change and when I arrived back home I decided to check their work. Sure enough my oil filter came right off with little resistance! I have been a customer and had good service in the past, but here's my latest experience: Went in for an oil change. Attendant looked at my tires and said they need to be rotated and I told him don't rotate the tires because they are old and I'm about to buy new tires. I give him my fleet card for Enterprise fleet services. He disappears for 30 min and I see them working on my car. Then he comes out and wants me to sign off on $200 in services including rotating my tires, cabin air filter, wiper blades.... I tell him I didn't want anything but an oil change and he says that Enterprise has authorized the services. Well, Enterprise doesn't pay for the services. My husband owns the company and our company pays the bill. Thanks for the $200 oil change. You have not only lost a customer, you have lost the business of all our fleet vehicles. read more

I stopped by today for an oil change around 5:00 p.m. and they didn't have any 10-30 or 10-40 regular oil. They only had the synthetic oil for $50 more! Hoe can you run a business without the very common oils most cars use. I guess that explains why the 3 guys working there were sitting in the customer area watching TV when I pulled in. It looks like Liz B on 9-26-2015 had the same experience and problem. It kind of sounds like bait and switch. I won't be going back there. It was a waste of my time that could have been avoided when I told the guys I wanted 10-40 when I first got out of my car,instead of going into the waiting area and then waiting. read more

If you just want a quick oil change, AVOID this place. You will be upsold on all sorts of services, filters etc etc. Many of these items are not necessary, overpriced, and your car will sit unnecessarily while they "examine" and sell you. Proceed at your own peril. read more

Great service from these guys today! Went in for an oil change, on a Sunday, without an appointment, & was in and out in 30 minutes. My experience included very friendly staff, a clean & comfortable waiting room, free coffee (I didn't partake, so I'm not sure if it was good or not), etc. Also, they washed my windows, vacuumed my floors, & didn't try to trick me into anything I didn't need! Came here with my boyfriend to get an oil change since we found out Dan's Lube & Oil stop closed down since the owner sold it to a Jiffy Lube.. we came here & no one was there. Completely empty. There was a man sitting in the lobby waiting while his car got service I guess. We were waiting and chatting with this man for maybe 15 minutes. He told us the price for his Toyota Tundra came to about $90. We could only imagine how it much it would be for our 1994 BMW. We just ended up leaving because we didn't have the time to be waiting to be serviced. We ended up going across the street to Chevron's Oil Stop. Don't think we'll be coming back. read more

Word of advice, "Be weary." I've been going for a couple years now, been really satisfied with the old fashioned good service, until recently. After receiving an oil and differential change, I arrived at my home and noticed my "Check gauges" light was on, then noticed (eeek!) my oil pressure gauge wasn't working. Figuring it was just the gauge not working and not the oil pump, or else I wouldn't have made it home, I returned to the station so they could check it out. The manager showed me the oil pressure sensor was broke, and tried to tell me it had been for a while, then he admitted they probably shorted it out when changing the oil filter. So I said, "Ok, but it was working before, and now it's not. So you're saying I have to fix this myself?" To which he nodded yes. Then he tried to tell me whoever changed it before probably broke it. I told him it was last done at this station. So beware, everything is fine and dandy, long as anything doesn't go wrong. read more

I bought a Groupon instead of using email coupons and I purchased the wrong oil type by accident because the right one didn't show up on the page -even though Groupon was impossible to deal with Jiffy Lube still made it right. Very disappointed in this place! We have used them in the past but the last 2 times we have gone they have charged us a lot more than expected. The most recent time we were charged over $125 for an oil change and that price included LABOR CHARGES?? When did they ever charge labor? This fee was never disclosed before the service was started. It was a standard oil change with nothing special. Do not agree to anything from them until they give you a quote. We will not be returning to this location!! read more

To all the folks that complain that they "try to upsell you," I've only had them recommend maintenance items to me (air filters, tire rotation, etc). I was going to drop my car off and have them check me in so I could leave and come back and one of the employees refused to do this for me 3 times. I had to leave. I don't go to this station often, but today I was greeted by a friendly attendant who promptly showed me to the waiting room and offered me coffee (Keireg is a nice touch). Everyone very professional, and didn't press hard on the upsell services. In fact, offered one at 'half price'. Once complete, the manager went over the fluid levels while I'm looking in the engine compartment and showed the oil level full. The mechanics at this location are classic con artist salesman, only interested in getting you in the door and once you leave if anything goes wrong, don't want to deal with you. The stripped my oil drain plug and I went back to correct the problem, but was told they would only help me if I purchased another oil change! All they would have to do is help remove the oil drain plug, but that seems to have been too much trouble for them and refused. Contacting corporate is just as bad. Jiffy Lube's policy seems to be to try and charge more for service that can be done cheaper elsewhere, while providing less than mediocre customer service. Suggest you go to the Lube Shop in Camarillo, much better service. read more

I will NEVER take my car to this business ever again. I arrived at their camarillo location as the "next in line" and they told me it was an HOUR wait. I sat in the lobby for 5-10 minutes and decided to take my 1 year old son to a restaurant across the street. 20 minutes later I arrived back at the jiffy lube with some brat 20-something kid that told me they would not work on my car because I did not receive some paperwork that was NOT mentioned to me EVER. I signed the paperwork at the front desk and the same young man was a complete jerk to me the entire time. They completed the oil change, and as i entered my car the steering wheel was completely covered in oil and the computer was not reset. I went back in to have the computer reset by the same jerk at the front desk. HORRIBLE customer service and experience. Will NOT return and will make sure to tell my friends to find a much better place to receive this service. read more

I have been using this shop for some time but they are sooooooo slow. When I got there they said it would take 30-35 minutes. After being there for 1 hour they came and told me they were having issues removing the bottom plate to get to the Oil Filter! I'm looking for a place with faster service, any ideas Yelp Community? Service was fast, as expected, and the staff was friendly. My issue is not so much with their service, but with the way their charges are calculated. The estimate made absolutely no sense. There is a charge of $50.99 for signature oil change service, then a charge for 2.5 qts, which is fine, my car needs more than the 5 qts given with the signature oil change. Then, because my car needs synthetic oil, there is a flat $50 charge for that? WTF? The total was nearly $120. Only the manager was able to explain how the charges were calculated, no one else could. I was eventually satisfied with the explanation that there was a hidden charge of $11 for the "special" oil filter my car needs (not really special, they cost the same at any auto parts store). The excuse was that it had to be listed this way, with a hidden fee because either the franchise or the Bureau of Automotive Repair said it had to be so. None of that makes any sense. I rarely use this Jiffy Lube and will try to remember not to bother with them in the future. read more

Was told about 45-60 minutes. Two hours later I was able to leave and heard more than one customer having issues with the service. Seems like Jiffy Lube keeps taking longer and longer. On agust 20 20011, I took my truck to the local jiffy lube locaded on 55 Daily dr Camariilo ca 93010 for oil and filter change. I was told they"ll call me in 45 min. 2 hrs later I called and they said they forgot to call. I got my truck back and decided to inspected just to make sure that I got what I paid for. When I cheked the oil was not as clean as it's supposed to be after being replace.After that I check oil filter and it was the same filter that my truck had when I took it in.When I spoke with the manager he"s anser was "your car needs a engine flush" when I had it done in the last oil change.when I ask him about the oil filter he said "I got replaced looked this your old oil filter " and he handed me and old one. which I took to a nerest auto Zone and turn out it belonged to a For Epedition and I have a GMC YUKON.They never admited what they done and neither try to make it up. As it todey Im very upset and desappointed to see that these employees are doing exactly what others franchises have done in the past. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY TRUCK TO ANY ANY JIFFY LUBE AGAIN KNOWING THAT THE ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF LOYAL CUSTOMERS.
