Visited this Jiffy lube this am to get my Uber/Lyft inspections on my car. Brandon was very professional and honest and advised me I had two vehicles ahead of me and it would be a little wait. When they were done he advised me I had passed and gave me advice on a few things I should take care of soon! I so appreciated that! I've been to this Jiffy Lube service station but today experience was not as great. When I went before, Brandon was great and really took care of my car. It was a different team today and it was not good. I did the signature service, but carpet was not cleaned but was even made worse because they had oil in their shoes and left tracks on the carpet. Hood was not closed all the way and glad it did not open while I was on the road. Because it was not closed all the way, I took a peak under and there was oil drippings everywhere. So messy compare to the previous time. Next time I go, will make sure Brandon is around. read more

I think Jiffy Lube has lost my business officially. I went in today and was lied to by an employee there 'Carlos' in an attempt to upsell me with a blended oil. He stated that I had always purchased the blended oil and when I asked him directly he apologized last minute and told me I hadn't bought it previously.. then, When I presented to him a coupon for $15 for the standard signature oil change, he stated it would only work with the blended oil. He gave me attitude and I didn't trust him with my car. My oil light came back on within minutes of completion... If you're reading this I'd recommend driving across the street to the chevron oil stop. The customer service MUST be better. Aaron was the gentleman who attended to me with the service of my car. He was very friendly and informed me on everything they were doing. I used a Groupon coupon with no problem whatsoever, so I'm not sure what problems other reviews had with theirs. When I presented my Groupon, Aaron asked me if it was purchased for this specific location and indeed it was (I made sure to select Jiffy Lube on 55 W. Daily because there were coupons for other locations). Turns out that I saw a sign that informs customers to this fact, which makes all sense. I had several questions about their service options, and Aaron answered all of them in a very professional and friendly manner. We even chatted about new car models and baseball! It turned out that my car needed more than just an oil change, which I was expecting since it is already an old car. Aaron made recommendations to me, during which I never felt forced or coerced to purchase extra parts or services. He even had someone test drive my vehicle to make sure everything was working well. I had a bad experience at this location a few months but chose not to review it. Felt like I was being ripped off (was quoted $40 to clean my K&N air filter) and they were more concerned about selling additional services than actually taking care of my Durango. Today I needed to get the oil changed and went to a Thousand Oaks Jiffy Lube. It took them quite a while because the oil drain plug had been so badly damaged at this location. Cleaning the K&N filter was $20 instead of $40. Avoid this location if you can. I'll never go back. read more

My car really needed to get my brakes done, dropped by around the afternoon on a weekday and the mechanics worked on my car right away with no wait or appointment. Honestly the worst experience I've had at a jiffy lube Clark was very slow and had a horrible attitude. These employees were lazy and took a very long time on my truck they have 4 guys standing around when they aren't even busy. I asked them how much is remaining and he could not give me a measurement in mm or percentage but only they would not last much longer. They were short handed that day and tried to set up an appt. Went in to have rear tail light replaced. Realized I needed an oil change and figured I'd have them do it since I was already there. About fell over when they said an oil change was $69.99!!! I usually get it done at Brake Masters for half that cost. Oh well, Go ahead. When they were done my car wouldn't start. I have never had an issue with my car not starting. They tried to offer a whole host of reasons, to which I kept replying "my car ran fine until I brought it here." They did eventually get car to start with remote start and at this point I just wanted to leave. They tried to get me to sign off on a statement that I wouldn't hold them liable. I refused to do so. Guy at front desk was nice about it which is why I gave 2 stars and not 1. Mechanic was extremely defensive, trying to blame it on my fuel injector. Next day the car ran fine. I don't know what they did but I will never go back to them and will be taking my car to Steve at Brake Masters to make sure all is well. read more

I have been bringing my Ford Escape here for years. The staff have been efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Never felt pressured to do anything more than I ask. If anything else needs work, it's been brought to my attention politely. I also come for the convenience. I I've had my vehicle for 4years now and have other Ford vehicles before. I know how they run and maintain it. So today, I'm hoping the man was just woken up on the wrong side of bed. I was asked to roll down my window so he's does not lock the doors. I mentioned that as long as the fob was in vehicle, it would not lock. I just washed my vehicle and didn't want to mess my windows. I even gave him the code to type in. I was told I was wrong, and the employee knows my car better me. When I mentioned it's not possible to lock the car, he made it sound like a threatening challenge. Then he wanted me to stand right next to him as he reviewed the computer. When I wanted to have space he kept demanding me to get close. My Wife, who prides herself on being a "Car Girl," added motor oil to the radiator reservoir. We had it towed to J. Lube on Daily Drive for an unscrew job. They first made her comfortable in the waiting room, then all piled onto the project. They drained the res., flushed out the radiator changed the oil, changed the filter, topped off the coolant, and provided stellar customer service. I won't say how much they charged because it was so little. Like, amazingly little. Like a third of what I expected. They're great guys doing a great job, they even referred me to a great mechanic for the needed repairs. Don't hesitate to bring your car here, you won't get burned or ripped off. read more

I thought it was due for an oil change because I couldn't remember how long ago and how many miles it since my last oil change (don't keep good records). Hello, I'd like to post this review to inform others of the services I've received from Jiffy Lube. I'm not someone who knows enough about cars and since I'm a young woman I feel I get taken advantage of easily with some auto shops. I will start by saying the customer service was fine and the employees have been perfectly friendly. I'm leaving this review based on the quality of the actual service I've gotten. I got an oil change at this Jiffy Lube years ago. I need high mileage oil in my car meaning I was looking at ~ $80 which was already a lot for me as I was only 19 and making minimum wage at the time. Out of no where they told me I needed a whole new battery and since I didn't know any better I agreed, only because he reduced the price of my oil change. My battery was new enough and I hadn't been experiencing issues with it which is another reason I feel I was probably conned. I paid around $200 and most of my friends told me I got completely ripped off. Ever since I bought that battery I've had issues with it. Every year since I've had to jump start my battery at least 3 times per year and I'm not someone who leaves my lights on or is ignorant to what causes a battery to drain. I believe I've experienced way too many issues with a battery that was supposed to be brand new. My car wouldn't start a few days ago (upon turning my key a clicking sound would happen which for me usually means I need a jump start). I have AAA & they gave me a battery test stating my battery was at ~20-30 out of the 400 something it's supposed to be at. Since I had free warranty for five years with jiffy lube I took my car back to get a new battery. The mechanic who helped me was polite but insisted my battery was fine even though I experienced issues turning on my car right in front of him. They said the test I received from AAA was false and while that may have been true, I still insisted they install a new battery to be safe. They did politely agree but the two mechanics seemed to argue and cuss at each other over my hood while I was sitting in my car during the service. I was definitely uncomfortable and the younger of the two mechanics might have hit my car (it sounded like it but I can't be sure) with a hose and seemed to be causing problems with the battery replacement. Hopefully this battery will be better but I will never ever be going back to a Jiffy Lube ever again. The people working there are decently nice and friendly but can be way too pushy. I hope this helps and I apologize for the long review! Again the customer service was fine and I'm not trying to be mean or spiteful to the employees of Jiffy Lube, but I'm leaving 1 star because of the stress from this battery dilemma of mine. Please make sure you're being treated in good faith from any business you go to! And to anyone who is younger or may not know about cars, definitely do your research and try to be prepared for visits to the auto shop to avoid situations like mine. read more

Unfortunately this place didn't get any better and if anything, just got worse. It's a shame that the Jiffy Lube up north (Sierra Monte area) was worlds above this place. Went in this morning at opening (8 AM) and my vehicle didn't get looked at until 8:45. Now, I honestly think there were 2 vehicles before me, but really, 45 mins? Windows, not cleaned. Floors, not vacuumed. So, I guess thank you for the $25+ oil change. If you're not going to fulfill your other "free services" why should I continue to come here? I could go to the other places around that will charge less and give me the same amount of work. $4 to fill coolant. I could be wrong, but I thought topping off all fluids was also part of the signature service? Maybe I should go back to my original place of getting my oil changed. If you come here early enough, ask for an early-bird special and you get $12 off your oil change. That brings it from a steep $35 to a more reasonable $23. Also, they fill you in on your car's vitals and stats, and while they don't tell you that you NEED to do something, they let you know when it's time to do stuff like change your transmission fluids. I SO regret not checking Yelp before coming here... awful, awful, awful. First, they said the wait was over an hour and to come back, so I did. Then they told me they were "not allowed" to put in any kind of oil except the $80!!! kind of oil. Wha? The moment I asked why, they immediately said, "want to talk to the manager?" and the guy leaves before I can even answer. The manager comes back and was literally rude, like I was ruining his day for asking why the last time we came here it was $40 bucks and now it's suddenly double that. He STILL didn't answer my question, so I said, "can you at least tell me why I should come here instead of my dealer, where it's $40 bucks still?" And he said, "Because here you only wait 20 mins." WRONG. I waited a full hour, despite coming back like they asked and promising to be done in 25 mins. And finally, the icing on the cake: I told them my tires were totally lopsided and needed to be filled and corrected. They said, "yes! yes! That's included in the service" etc, etc. Yeah. No. Still lopsided and low on my way out. I was so furious and started to turn around, but remembered the manager and how incredulous and dismissive he was, like a pouting teenager, and realized he'd probably sabotage my car rather than fix it. I like the guys who greeted me, but in the end, every promise was broken, I had my first 100 dollar oil change ever and their main man in charge is a pouting, angry 20 something who thinks everyone is stupid for asking a question. To update my previous review about them not checking tire pressure, vacuuming or putting a window sticker on, there is one other thing I must now add now that they forgot. About 2 days after my visit to Jiffy Lube, my check engine light came on. Ended up taking it to a shop for them to read the code. It ends up that where was a hose on my air filter box that was disconnected, that they forgot to hook back up. Like I said before, NEVER AGAIN Jiffy Lube. They will try to upsell you on oil, and adding various fluids. I had a serpentine belt replaced here for a decent price because it was on sale. I have gone to this location once before- they were awesome. I went to the Simi Valley location last Thursday and one of the guys there insisted on telling me my truck only took full synthetic oil despite me saying no it does not and he was arguing with me- I ended up leaving so mad and called the Camarillo location and talking to the manager Aaron. He apologized and said bring it in Saturday. I showed up and they instantly took my truck in and started working on it. Nothing but perfect customer service. It gets better- I am sitting in my truck and forgot my water and I asked if I could have some- Michael walked to the gas station and bought me a water! Who does that?!!? This place is clean and friendly and they have a good Groupon deal for 3 levels of oil changes so you should definitely jump on that. They check all your fluids and belts and tires when you get service done here and and very clear about what needs attention and what they can do to help you.. my only issue with this place they work like old people have sex... super slow!
