Under new management, according to the sign. My slightly overdue oil change was quick (a jiffy?) and the three guys working the bays seemed happy to have a customer this afternoon. Completely thorough though at $51 for standard (not synthetic) oil, perhaps a little more than I really wanted to pay. But for that price, they not only did the oil, they cleaned all the outside glass, checked tire pressure (and topped it off on one) and checked other fluids under the hood. They have several reports of coming to get an oil change and leaving without a working car. Do not go there they always switch employees out and managers. I went to get an oil change they up sale me to get the tax bundle for like $300 and JOSH the new manager there promised me he would make sure his team (full of young new guys) do my bundle correctly ! Joshua is a retired street guy so he did not of course do anything but hang up front trying to flirt with me. As a manger I would never do that. The filter cap they touched no longer works it has been cracked and they called the claim manger before I could even know something was actually broken on my car but obviously they called the claim manger before I could to give a side of the story to save there butts. Long story short I told them to show me everything they touched because Josh claimed after 2 hours of searching why my oil leaked out so fast and came back and said he sees nothing wrong . So when Josh is showing me they "did nothing " I noticed the oil spraying out the cap like a shower !!!! He then gets nervous and calls the claim manager before I could even get the information to a claim or a manager ! Red flag ! The claim manager said leave my car over night he will come check. He said they didn't crack it and basically told me to tow my car away and get it fixed. I towed my car to a real mechanic and they told me they certainly did put too much oil in my car or either twist on the cap too tight and it was for sure they fault . Now I have to take it further than this because the fact that two locations told me they screwed my car up ! Another jiffy Lube told me they did not do it correctly and my mechanic told me as well . I put my trust into this manager to make sure I would be ok and he failed me completely. All the lies and games for me to help them find out the problem is ridiculous! I got an offer to come back next visit but why in the world would I come back to get another oil change by these folks . It's never too busy when I come to this one and everyone is nice. I don't like how they always try to find something extra to get you to pay for but other than that service is great. I didn't have to wait long and o get my interior vacuumed which is a plus. read more

Wouldn't trust these people to work on a bicycle much less a car. Covered my engine (and even managed to get it on the windshield) in oil. Said the oil filter couldn't be replaced because "it was on too tight". When in reality that had just literally soaked everything in oil and couldn't get it off. Had to go immediately to the dealership to let them clean up these so-called mechanics' mess. Either they are completely untrustworthy or just absolutely incompetent. Don't know which is worse. Arrived 9:30ish, and met with Cody & Dermott. Was expecting to get my oil changed, that's when Dermott started explaining the types of oil (synthetic blend - synthetic - regular) and the mileage variations with each (I thought I needed an oil change every 3000 miles). Turns out my Honda could go a couple thousand more miles. Brandon, another JL staff member whom I'd met back in May when I thought my car needed an inspection, arrived a few minutes after. As Dermott checked my oil, Brandon and I chatted. He too reiterated the info about the oil type & mileage. They topped of my oil, answered my questions and gave me very helpful information. I have been a customer here for many years for all my cars. I have seen that the owner and employees don't care about this business anymore. There used to be water, Coffee, clean bathroom, clean waiting area. Now all that is gone, no water, no Coffee, smelly bathroom, and dirty waiting area. The person working this morning had a horrible attitude and obviously didn't want to be there. He said in the paperwork that he vacummed the floors, NO HE DIDN"T NOT! Oil change involved oil everywhere on the motor from top to bottom and manifold that smoked heavily after driving home.

We usually have our Toyota Prius serviced at the dealership but due to timing, we chose Jiffy Lube instead- terrible mistake! AFTER changing the oil, we were informed they could not remove the oil filter (seems to be a reoccurring issue as noted in other reviews). And, yes, we were charged for the oil change. After taking the Prius to the dealership to have the filter changed, the shop foreman personally escorted me back to the shop to show me the mess that Jiffy Lube had created- oil drippings all over the engine and oil cap was very greasy as well which explains the slight oil burning smell since we left Jiffy Lube. With the Prius on the lift, the shop foreman demonstrated the removal of the oil filter using the CORRECT TOOL! He also demonstrated using a "UNIVERSAL" tool which was not able to remove the Toyota brand filter. This was definitely a lesson learned for us and hope this post will save you some time, money and potential damage if you own a Toyota and use OEM Toyota parts. This is my local Jiffy Lube, and I've had great experiences so far at this location. I've dropped my car off here 4 times, and each time, I go over to the pizzeria in the shopping center, grab a slice, and by the time I get back, my car is ready. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and they tend to avoid the hard-sell techniques that can get pretty annoying at some of these places. I have used this location in the past with no problems and I have a fairly new car and have had no problems with starting the car and went in for a routine oil change, car was brought around and even heard them press on the gas to make sure everything was okay and get in my car and it wouldn't start! Mind you the "MANAGER" went over everything and said my battery was fine and tested it and said it is at 2%. Pissed is not the word to use. What could I do but replace the battery and had to give up more $. I plan on filing complaints and go as far as I need to go. Called his manager but the manager there had already called him and he gave me the same story but I WILL NEVER go there again! Never offered any discount or anything. Amber the manager has the most welcoming personality, Jeremy takes extra time to ensure I understand a complete price breakdown before I pay. I recently went to Jiffy Lube on Harris Boulevard and was very pleased with the customer service there. The young lady at the desk was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I believe her name was Amber. She explained synthetic oil's to me and the importance of it for my car and also suggested brakes for my car, which I didn't even know Jiffy Lube did... and I needed. I was very happy with my services and the car is running great. Everyone there was very friendly. I would definitely suggest this Jiffy Lube location to my friends and family. I have had 2 experiences with this place. The first time was when I brought my 1974 Corvette in for an oil change. The filter they used was missing the oil sealing ring and when I started the car, my oil was left laying on the ground. The second and final experience was when I brought my daughters Chevy Malibu in for service. They wound up putting the wrong coolant in the radiator which they couldn't (wouldn't) properly repair and I wound up having to get rid of the car. Would never go there again and I tell everyone I know to beware! read more

Consumer beware! This location at Hickory Grove/WT Harris leaves much to be desired. I went in for an inspection, bunch young guys working there that lacked any professionalism. Only two cars were in the stalls. Two workers at the counter and neither acknowledged my presence upon entering. Since one customer was called to the counter I sat down to wait my turn. Do you think after they took care of them I would be assisted with at least a question? Well after 10 minutes sitting & overhearing foul language conversations of sitting customers, I got up and went out. No one approached or said anything to me. I'm done! Had been there about year before with another one of my cars for oil change but that was a whole different team & atmosphere. I won't return for anything! Terrible service! My second time here. Maybe my last. It took me close to two hours to get my oil change. The oil change only took 30 mins. But it took one and a half hours to close my paperwork. They also put in the system that the mileage of my car is 666,610 instead of 66,610. Thank you jiffy lube for that input. Now my cars mileage will be "compromised" for whoever/whenever someone ever decides to check car fax. I guess now I have to just assume that jiffy lube headquarters will step in and correct this issue. In order for them to get me out of their waiting room. They finished the paperwork with the same 666,610 miles again. Then they tell me they don't know how to reset the light on a Prius. After waiting on multiple failed attempts. I got tired of waiting and just took the car and left. It's amazing how easy it was to look on YouTube and get instructions on how to reset a maintenance light. For a company which "specializes" in routine maintenance to not know how to reset a light is kinda embarrassing and seriously diminishes the faith I have with this company. It let me know how much the mechanics there actually care about their customers. Leaving me with the "I don't know, you figure it out" feeling. --- but thank you for trying to sell me the flushes and filters that I already bought less than 10,000 miles ago. read more

Never go here if you are getting your oil changed. I've never been there for anything else so I can't comment on that. However I was charged 70 dollars for a simple oil change, I usually get it for thirty but they were close by. Not to mention they lied to me and said it would be 40 when I asked them before getting it done. They're ghetto and will scam you out of your money. read more
