I've never brought my car to Jiffy Lube but I always bring my moms car in for oil changes. The only reason why I don't bring my car in is because I'm not a big fan of paying $30 for an oil change. On the other hand, my mom doesn't mind paying that much for an oil change. My last visit a few weeks ago was just amazing. The manager was just incredibly professional, polite and helpful. First off, they use good oil, put air in the tires, clean your windows, top of any fluids such as, engine coolant and window washer. And, for $5 dollars they replaced the rear stop light bulb. It took them about fifteen minutes to finish up with the car and during checkout the manger gave my a discount. I still think they're overpriced but they make up for it with the speed of service, great customer service and they're small break room with a bathroom and cool table magazines. Maybe, one of these days ill bring my car in. read more

Normally I'd get all my automobile service done at the dealership. But I just didn't have the time to make an appointment, for who knows when. Jiffy Lube is a convenient solution to my problem. I had an oil change, tire rotation, air filter replacement, and rear-diff serviced. Service was quick and friendly, I was in and out of there in an astonishing 25 mins! If ended up taking my car to the dealership, it would have probably been there 2-3 hours. You'd be surprised to know that they don't only do oil changes, but offer services such as Radiator and Transmission flush. And other Minor repairs to keep your car running properly. For Major repairs, I suggest you take your car to the dealership or local mechanic. I was really satisfied with the service that I received at Jiffy Lube. I'm the next car to be serviced and ive been waiting for about 45 minutes. It is now my turn and the teenage employees have attitude as if they're still in high school. Very rude, slow, and have faces as if they're mad at the world. Last damn time I come to this location. Go to the one on Palm and 16th in imperial beach. They greet you help you and even give you a discount. Fuck this place on E st. The girl that was in front of me definitely got the full service attention even cleaned up her trash she had her car. Very fast service here. Arrived with only one car being serviced, guillermo took my info and directed me on where to go. Someone got into my car and pulled out forward to be serviced. Guillermo directed me into the waiting area where there was coffee n tv. The service must've lasted no more than 10-15 minutes. Guillermo wasn't much for small talk,he was quick and to the point. I had a coupon which brought my total to $38ish. It's a bit more expensive than valvoline and you don't stay in your car like valvoline, my preference is for valvoline. I don't know what the deal is with places I've been to lately and their service declining but add this place to the list. I got an oil change again here recently. Everything went well and I was on my way. Fast forward to a few days later and my car makes this odd grinding noise. I stop by a firestone and they pretty much discover the skid plate underneath my car is loose. They ask if I got an oil change recently and I tell them about jiffy lube down the road from them. The mechanic shakes his head and says that this is the third time this week that this specific jiffy lube has done this. Basically this jiffy lube doesn't put the screws back on the skid plate when replacing oil. Now I know why they are so quick. I also discover a few days later with my pops when looking underneath my hood that some of the things they claimed to top off were not topped off, such as my wiper fluid. As a matter of fact my wiper fluid was empty. Oh yeah, the screws to the plastic that covers some of the main parts under my hood were also missing here too. I guess jiffy lube saves time by cutting corners and charging high prices. Gonna have to find a new oil change place. Such a shame knowing that this place takes shortcuts and it ends up costing the customer in the long run (I paid $18.95 for a safety check at firestone because of all this and having to find new bolts to replace the ones jiffy lube failed to replace). read more

Giving one because i have to took my car in last weekend, to make sure my car was ready for my trip out of town. After i asked them specifically to check the steering wheel oil and everything because i was going out of town and I did not want to get stranded with my kids. I started hearing a noise after driving my car. It got louder and louder it got really bad. i took it to the mechanic today. I was driving the car around all this time without any oil. UPDATE the mechanic says i messed up my car idk how much more this oversight from Jiffy Lube is going to cost me. All because the superbowl was on the day i took it in to get serviced. I took my 2012 VW CC For an oil change I never trusted this places as I suspected they did not do A good job. First of all 20 min after leaving the place a "oil pressure engine off" came on my dashboard after doing some research it seems this Places have a nice history for things like this. Im pretty sure the wrong oil was added to my car. 2nd they said they checked my tire pressure which one of them was at 28psi when i came in an remained the same after I left. 3rd they said they. Checked my lights I have a bad front light and they wrote on my invoice lights working checked. I am going to head down there and hopefully get this fixed before it ruins my oil pump or causes more damage. read more

Went in for an oil change today and was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding customer service here! All the staff was incredibly polite and respectful, from opening the door for me to thanking me for my custom. I felt like a very welcome and valued customer. My oil change was quick, and the recommended radiator flush took only 15 minutes. All the additional services and fluid top offs were much needed! I drove away and immediately noticed a huge difference in the way my car handled from them adjusting the air pressure in the tires. I am a fan! They did a good job on the car, but watch them when they charge your credit card. I had a coupon for $15 off service. They forgot to apply it to the total. The man ringing me up did not know how to work their software and could not reverse the sales process. Someone else said they thought they reversed it and ran up a second sale of the correct price. This was on a Friday. I saw both charges on my card that day. I waited until Mon. to see if the one was reversed. It was not. I went to the station but was told only the GM could do such a transaction and he would not be in until the next day. Really? The next day i went in and was told I had to wait 4-5 business days and if the transaction was not reversed I had to talk to their corporate office as they could not do anything at the site. NO! Basically they can charge your card, but if they are in error they cannot/will not correct it. read more
