Jiffy Lube did an oil change. Did not put the oil filter on correctly and destroyed my engine. I'm out of pocket about $40,000 for engine replacement, mechanic, towing, storage, and lack of use of my vehicle for months. The owner wants me to sign a release if he pays only for the engine repair. That would leave me about $10,000 short on covering the damages I have suffered. I would never go back to this Jiffy Lube, as the workers are incompetent and the owner has no integrity. read more

Lol I literally cannot believe this. I'm sitting here listening to the "tech" work on my truck and she's mad that the plug is stripped yelling "WHAT THE FUCK! WHO THE FUCK DID THE LAST OIL CHANGE ON THIS FUCKING TRUCK?!" Over and over slamming things yelling "I hope this fucking holds!" (Because that makes me feel great) uncomfortable is an understatement. There is absolutely no professionalism just profanity and anger. No wonder this place is empty honestly. I'm a little worried about the quality of the oil change I just got. Do not come here.$107 for this when I could have done it myself and known it was done right without the insults and profanity. I'll be calling customer service. Here's an Update for you: remember how I said I didn't trust the quality of the work? Well it took three people (2 of them mechanics) and three hours to GET THE FILTER SHE PUT ON, OFF OF NY TRUCK! Yes three hours of my life to change the filter because she was so pissed and put it on SO TIGHT. Absolute BS. And do you think the manager ever called me back about it? Nope. Can I give this place 10 stars? I had just exchanged my rental vehicle (bad transmission) the night before, only to get a low oil light on the new one as I was heading west on I-84 toward Pendleton. I stopped in the Walmart to get oil and noticed an oil spot on the ground. Bad. I threw in 2 quarts and prayed it was a slow leak from before I got the car, not a fast leak I created on the highway. Well, three hours later, there was no warning light and the level was still full, so I started to believe it was the former. But I wanted to know what was going on, so I stopped in the first Jiffy Lube I saw (the rental company recommended it). Boy, am I glad I picked this location. The staff were very helpful, offering to take a diagnostic look for free (on Memorial Day, even). They escorted me down under the car to show the oil all over and explained that it was a leaky gasket inside the oil filter from the last oil change (clearly not here). They not only replaced the filter, but also cleaned the entire underside of the car, and only charged me $6 for the filter even though the cost is getting passed on to the rental company. So let's see: Friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable, ethical, generous, how many more nice adjectives can I throw at them? They literally saved my vacation for me and made me genuinely happy for the first time in days. I can't thank them enough and I recommend to everyone in Clarkston/Lewiston to come here for their oil services. read more

Although the staff is friendly here they didn't fully put the engine splash guard back on under my car and I got my oil changed on my way out of town and and noticed it hanging down about an hour later while loading up and couldn't drive back. I had to go to a dealership when we got to destination and pay for the push screws to secure it again with my fussy kids on a long car drive, yikes. There was only one other car being worked on during my oil change too and my car sat finished for over 10 minutes before someone came in to ring me up. Also the prices are extremely high! I've never paid over $50 for an oil change in my small suv and my total was freaking $91 dollars WITH a fifteen dollar off coupon! Insane! Cost me $25 dollars from the ford dealership for the parts jiffy lube didn't put back to the splash guard. read more
