Update: I just made an appointment, which Clarkston will not do (why?) at Les Schwab Moscow. They serviced my car, inspected my suspension, and gave a price for repairs. *****5 star service. So, roll the dice at Clarkston or hit the jackpot at Moscow...the choice is yours. read more

I love Les Schwab, and all they do. I have been a customer for a very long time. I, my family, and my friends will never use the Clarkston, WA, location again. They should be ashamed of themselves for ripping off a 73 year old lady. she had a slow leak(10 lbs in 15 days), Les Schwab said valve stem, replaced, good to go. Drove to Texas and back (3000 miles, 1 month), still had slow leak. only filled twice in a month. upon return, back to Clarkston Les Schwab. Tear in sidewall, need TWO new tires to match axle. 3 days later went to retrieve tire and refund, they said tire was destroyed. I could have patched this with a bicycle patch. They kept the EVIDENCE and destroyed it. To all out there, this is the only bad, bad Les Schwab I have ever encountered. read more

Horrible customer service. Make you feel like an inconvenience for wanting their services. Scheduled an appointment days out, was super flexible with them, showed up 15 minutes before my appointment just to be told I wasn't on their schedule and then laughed at. No apology or ask to reschedule, just laughed at. I have been a customer for years and will never use this Les Schwab again. read more

This review is late but last May 2021 I rented an SUV for a roadtrip in Idaho and Washington. One morning the SUV control panel indicated one tire had low pressure. I inspected the wheel and discovered a nail was deeply imbedded in the tire. This needed to be fixed ASAP because I had a long drive that day to my next destination. Thank goodness I was near Les Schwab Tire Center! They were courteous and professional and were able to assist me quite quickly. I showed the paperwork re: this was an SUV rental. Their sales rep. gave me the good news that a new tire was not needed and they were able to remove the nail and patch and seal the tire. When I asked how much it would cost the rep. said, "It's free, no charge"! I was shocked! The rep. was kind enough to still provide me a receipt as proof of service which I in turn provided to the rental car company to inform them what happened with the tire. I was relieved I didn't have to go through any reimbursement paperwork with the rental car company. Throughout my life I've been through a lot of tire blow outs, nails, etc. but I never had been to a more professional, kind, clean and courteous shop. This was truly an amazing experience! If I lived locally I'd continue to go to this tire shop because they were not trying to sell me a tire I didn't need, they were honest in patching it up, and they were considerate since I was an out-of-towner and it wasn't even my car. I'll never forget the help they gave me that day in May which saved my road trip because I got to my next destination before night fall. Profuse thanks to the staff at this Les Schwab Tire Center. I'm on a road trip from Wisconsin to Coastal Oregon and got a flat tire about a half hour out of town. I drove into Les Schwab on my spare and the super nice people here got me in immediately, fixed the damaged tire immediately, assessed my spare and said it's good and I was back on the road within an hour. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and professional. They took a potentially stressful situation and were able to quickly set my mind at ease. Thank you. read more

This place is has employees that think they are better than everyone else. They treat people with an attitude as if they are being imposed upon by helping us or giving us a quote. The man who drove my car and was delegated to assist me was more than rude. He acted as if it was a bother to help me and then he did not even quote me the correct issue. He told me that there was nothing wrong with my car and that the noise I was hearing was normal. I immediately took my car to Les Schwab in Lewiston, ID and they are actually human. They treat people with respect and provide a thorough estimate that does not break the bank and gives one hope to still trust the Les Schwab franchise. Night and day different from the pompous snobs at the Les Schwab in Clarkston!!! Point being, it is so worth the extra couple of miles to drive to Lewiston, ID Les Schwab and be treated with integrity than to go to the Clarkston, WA store and be dehumanized, belittled and lied to. read more

I just had to write this review to let people know how well I was treated. It was Christmas Eve around 2:45 pm. I discovered there is something crazy going on with my wheels or brakes. Every time I had my car serviced in the last few months by other businesses I was told my brakes were in great shape. But then I start hearing the dreaded grinding sound of metal on metal. We are planning on driving to Boise on Christmas Day. I called into Les Schwab and the reception person said they could look at my car even though they were closing at 3 pm because it's Christmas Eve. I drive into their business lot at 3 pm. Gary and another guy met me outside and looked under the hood. They said I didn't need brake fluid. So Gary offered to drive my car so he could hear what I was hearing. When he got back, he said he wanted to check my wheel, right front to see what was going on. They took the wheel off and inspected it. Turns out there was something wrong with the brake caliper causing uneven wear on the pads. Turns out the brake pad on the outside, which is what everyone was looking at, was completely intact and the inside was complete worn down. Hence , the metal in metal grinding sound. Then he checked the other front wheel. The same thing is happening on that wheel with some of the inside brake pad still there. He told all the others guys working there they could go home. He then advised we not drive that car to Boise as it wasn't safe. The thing I wanted to make sure people knew was that I greatly appreciated Gary taking the extra time after closing time (especially on Christmas Eve) to diagnose my problem. He said he was not sure he could replace my brakes ( I have a Mini Cooper ( no dealer or service in town). But he could do his best with mini parts. Then he recommended another auto repair shop who he thought might be better suited to my needs. What a great guy! He helped me even though he thought he might not be getting my business. read more

The last few times I've gone in the guy behind the desk always gives me the impression that he's got a million other things to do and that helping me isn't at the top of his list. He's terrible at his job and almost every time I go in there I leave and go over the bridge to the Lewiston store where they are friendly and happy to help me. At the Lewiston store they performed for free what they wanted over $100 to do at the clarkston store. All that and the person behind the desk wasn't annoyed by my presence. Went in there three times for various repairs. Lousy service, dishonest, and all about the customer thinking they are the problem. Save yourself the trouble and go to Costco or Bruneel. read more
