She works in the central mountains with no cell service during the week and was really concerned about getting new tires for her truck with her being gone. So she called dad (me) in a panic. I called Gill's to see if they could get her in quickly and diagnose the problem. They got her in, in about 15 minutes. We needed to get new tires anyway, so we got some on order. It took a day or two to get the specific tires we wanted in as it didn't matter. My daughter would be out of town in a state truck. She was due back on Friday. Thursday afternoon I got a call saying there was a mix up at the warehouse. They sent 4 tires but one was a different size. I started figuring out how to get up there to help my daughter out but Kerry Betts stepped in. He sent a truck from Lewiston all the way down to Boise (5-1/2 hours) to get the right size tire to make sure my daughter had something to drive when she got back in from the field. I a world where it seems like people don't seem to care as much for others as they used to, it was very refreshing to see this. They initially confirmed they would come to help, but after four hours of waiting, he called back only to be told they had changed their minds and he would have to find a way to get the vehicle to the shop himself. They failed to communicate this change in plans, leaving him stranded for hours when he could have easily arranged for help elsewhere. I am very disappointed with this lack of professionalism and poor communication.

The owner wants me to sign a release if he pays only for the engine repair. That would leave me about $10,000 short on covering the damages I have suffered. I would never go back to this Jiffy Lube, as the workers are incompetent and the owner has no integrity.
