I would highly recommend Concord Mazda Service. This is the only place I take my car to get serviced. I want a big shout out to Erik Olson for his incredible detail attention to the customer. Every time I take my car he is prompt to assist, and really takes his time to listen you. He is always honest , and willing to go the extra mile to help you. After your car is done he will walk you outside to hand you your car's key and even open the door for you. From beginning to end his service is impeccable. They also offer a very nice and relaxing waiting area loaded with gourmet beverages. 2022: Loose suspension component My CX-5 developed a suspension clunk. I couldn't see anything obvious and I transport clients, so it HAD to be fixed. I took it to the dealership asking the service writer if they could put it on the lift and figure out what's going on. He told me the diagnosis would be $195 and I agreed to it. As I recall it took about 1.5 hours while I waited. When they finished I was given a printout of the ~45 things the mechanic checked. I questioned the service writer about that and he said they did a full inspection on my car. I was not aware that windshield washer fluid level, or air filters, or lights, could cause the suspension to loosen. And I am VERY displeased with that shady move. The service writer confirmed the original problem was corrected but he couldn't tell me where it was, or what it was. He did tell me that the mechanic took a video of the inspection which I could watch. No video was emailed so I called. The service writer then told me they don't always do a video. Wow. It cost $195 to dance around my car for 1.5 hours before tending to my request. Everything on the checklist was okay. I imagine they were disappointed with that. read more

I've been going to to them for service on my Prius ever since I purchased my car from their dealership in 2019. The staff and customer service is always stellar. I've never had a bad experience there. I appreciate the honesty in their abilities and availability on if they can fix something and how long it may take to do it or order parts. The new service center is so nice and relaxing enough to wait there while I get my routine oil changes. Plus location is great because if you don't want to wait there you can walk or have an Uber called to go to the shopping center down the street. Mazdas service center has always been upfront with me about pricing for my initial service as well as anything they may catch while performing my oil changes and notice it needs attention. Coming here to get my car serviced is a bit out of my way since I live across the bridge BUT honestly, the service I receive from front staff and the mechanics makes it worth it plus they keep my car in tip too shape so I can roam the road safely. Eric Olson took good care of me in recommending service the dealership was well equipped to perform, and leaving the simple routine maintenance to me to keep costs down. I made myself comfortable in their vast waiting area and was soon presented with a video inspection of my car by the technician. Eric and I discussed needed service, no pressure, and agreed on a prudent work order. I was provided with a loaner vehicle free of charge and came back the next day with all the work done and now have a renewed sense of confidence in my Mazda's next 10 years. They weren't cheap, but did a prompt service had all the parts in stock, warranted the work for 12 months, and were professional and couteous. An overall pleasant experience. read more

I took my car in for regular service. I was informed it would take two hours or less so I elected to wait at the dealership/ service center. There was a comfortable waiting area with charging ports for phones and or lap tops. There was also free Peets coffee which you chose and brewed per cup. I received a text with a link to a video recording g of the inspection of my vehicle along with a status update. My vehicle was done well under the two hours promised. Don't come here unless you have time to spare or bring something that will keep you occupied for more than half a day. I've come in twice since I bought 2018 CX5 and in those 2x, I've paid more than $800 and spent a day and half waiting on my car. Services seem overpriced, not only on their different service pkgs but for example, oil filter and change is $89.99 AND that's on a discount! Customer service is also dependent on the service advisor you get. After waiting over 4 hours for a regular 30k mile maintenance service, I've heard different advisors treat customers differently. Some are extra attentive, others you have to ask for an ETA because they simply won't follow up with you regardless of how long you've been there. I can name drop because I took note of their business cards, but that would be reeaall petty. Also, everyone who was in this center at 8am this morning (12/28) has already left! Why am I still stuck here?! If you have previous documents of the condition or previous work done on your car, bring them or take note, because they'll try to upsell you on things you "need" to get fixed right away when in actuality, you probably don't. My advice, always get a second opinion. At this point, I'm fed up. In combination of the price you pay and the long ass hours you have to wait for your car, it's just not worth it. Unhelpful service advisor. Poor communication. Under deliver on their promise. Get ready to pay up. I brought my car in on 5/10/23 (car was purchased from this dealership on 4/22) because the alignment was off (pulling right). They corrected it free of charge but I had to wait almost 3 hours for alignment and oil change (they promised 2 hours), no big deal. Not even 3 weeks after and the car alignment is pulling right AGAIN!!! I bring the car back today 6/6/23 to have the alignment adjusted. This time they charged $180 for the alignment. They blame the new aftermarket wheels and tires I put on the car that is causing the alignment issue. In what world installing a new wheels and tires cause alignment issue, is Mazda cars that fragile that taking off and putting on wheels cause the alignment to be off? I was offered NO explanation by the service advisor, just told to pay up. ALSO, this time I had to wait ALMOST 4 HOURS (was promised 2 hours again) just for the alignment, making me miss another appointment. At this point I had no energy to argue with the service advisor so I just pay and leave to get away from this dealer. Later I tried to call their service department manager and got the "he is not available right now but you can leave a voicemail for him". At this tike I have not gotten a call back. So, I do not recommend this Mazda dealer for service and I will bring my car somewhere else next time. read more

Customer service is terrible. It's bad enough they can't seem to get their records updated after the third or fourth time letting them know my mother had passed away 3 years ago and they still continue to call and text me by my mothers name. I took my Mazda to get an oil change and the engine light was on. So they tell me just to have the tech look at it the price starts at $283 fine they had my car from 8:45 am then at 2:24 pm they informed me they are still working on the car. Then another text comes in with what's wrong with it. I tell them fix it I then get told the repairs will be done by end of day but can I leave it overnight so the can test drive it. I tell them it has to be ready by 9:30am the next morning. So the next morning I pull up to Mazda at 9:20 am and I receive a text at 9:23 saying my car is ready and if I use a credit card it's a 3% surcharge but if I write a check or use my debit card their is no fee. I was furious why couldn't you have told me that when I dropped off the car. The bill was already $1,300.00 and sum change and then you tacked on the 3%. They are a disgrace and as a business owner I will let all my customers know just how terrible their service is not to mention they never pick up the phone when you try to call for anything. Shame on them for how they do business as well as knowing they have coupons out for 15%off any service and coupons for oil changes and they never say a word to you about it. read more

He was incredibly friendly and promptly explained that the discount was an error on their site. Is a vehicle diagnosis just an opinion?? You guys said my Mazda CX-5 suspension was shot. Needed control arms etc, = over 2k I take my vehicle to Stevens creek mazda and they say the suspension is fine and does not need replacement. They also catch something major that you missed!! My right rear caliper was stuck in closed position which fried my brake pads and rotor... WOW!! You missed that?? Basically I paid $800 for an oil change and cabin filter. WTF. Did not disclose all the information when selling their certified pre own Mazda. And have my car serviced unprofessionally. When I bought a certified pre-own Mazda 3, I accepted the price and did not bargain about it. However, Greg, a sales person, kept saying buying certified pre own is like buying a new car and the car had no any issue until I realized there are several missing pieces. When I am about to return the car 2 days after, Sam promised me that they will have my car fixed. When I went for fixing my car the first time, they told me that the parts are not delivered yet, so I needed to drive back and make another appointment. They should have called me ahead saying the parts were not there, but that is not the worst. The second time I went, they have the parts fixed and also gave me an inspection on my car. This time, they have my parts repaired but also have found that the serpentine belt was worn! I was only driving it for three weeks to Stanford, which is 5 miles away from me. Yes, I bought a car that is one hour away from me and had me going back and forth for multiple times. Anyway, that doesn't make any sense, but Erik said they will replace a new one for me without any charges. So, had it replaced. One week after, the engine light was on. I will never visit this dealership for sales and service. Very unprofessional and waste me a lot of time. read more

Concord Mazda Service Center - My beautiful Mazda! - Auto Repair Near Me - Concord, California

Okay it's been 7 months since my last review about this business. Last time I gave them a one star review because they make a huge mistake by changing my high performance oil to their cheap regular (not even synthetic) mazda brang oil and oil filter. Good thing was that someone from Concord Mazda responded to my complaint by stating that they will change my oil just bring back the oil and oil filter I want to use. The only problem I had with this deal was that the oil and oil filter they replaced 7 months ago was newly changed and replaced. They did NOT even reimbursed me for the cost of them. As I mentioned on my last review, this is the place to bring your car for some major work such as transmission fluid and electrical components repair and not for simple work like oil change. This time I came back to get a diagnostic test for $199.95. I ran my own OBDII scanner and it showed that I need some modules replaced such as airbag module, body control module, TPMS sensor and auto transmission oil pressure sensor replacements. Airbag and body control module needs to be programmed to be installed properly. It's not like the transmission control module replacement which was just a "plug and play" type. I called them to find out the cost for those parts replacement and they said that I need to get diagnostic by Mazda to perform the replacement. I'm giving their customer service a five star but need to deduct one star because of that incident that happened 7 months ago for not reimbursing me for the cost of my high performance oil and oil filter. read more

Already 5 stars just based on the check-in experience with Milica. The high ratings for this Mazda dealership are legit. San Leandro wanted to charge us for a diagnostic fee to take a look at a weird chirping sound coming from our transmission, but Concord said it's covered under powertrain warranty (even just to diagnose/take a look)! And now, 3.5 hours later (they did try to have their technicians be as quick as possible but I didn't mind cause the waiting area is beautiful with free wifi and coffee/tea), I'm getting a loaner while they fix the issue. Definitely will come back if we're in the market for a new vehicle. Really appreciate their honest, transparent, and efficient service. (All the service advisors seemed great, btw!) read more

I'm a huge Mazda fan but this dealership is now totally focused on upselling and it's rather sad that these great cars now have such a $ orientated after service. I won't go there again. Update : the latest business manager (presumably the guy setting sales targets to the customer facing staff) replied (below) obviously because it's a 'mystery' to him. Well let me help. I was told I needed 3 repairs totaling $3000 on top of the $440 for an oil change and service check (seriously $440!!!!! ) these were brakes, tires and battery. Yes $3000 for a new battery, 2 brake pads and 4 tires. Here's the thing, I actually checked out their recommendations. 1- they wanted all tires changed because they are 5 years old so I spoke to the tire manufacturer who asked if there is fraying or wall cracking . There is not and so they said they have no idea why tires should be changed. 2- battery- I took the car to Big O (now that's a customer orientated company) and they checked the battery and guess what.....yup. No problem and btw a new battery is half the price of Mazda. 3- rear brake pads - yes they are low BUT I called Mazda and asked them and they say 2mm is time for a change, mine are 3mm and they say I have at least 5000 miles which is my annual mileage. Big O price for changing them out Inc rotors is half what Mazda wants. Yeah Mr Business Manager- read the other reviews, I'm not alone and you know what you're doing.
