Call ahead to ask what time they were open till and what time they accepted cars till, was told they were open till six and stop excepting cars at 5:30. My wife and I both drove our cars 20 minutes to their store. Got there at 5:20 and was told by the manager a female that they decided that they are going to stop excepting cars now even though there was no one in the bay and there was three workers there. I explain to her we drove both cars down here 20 minutes each way to get it oil change after checking with Them and she said well get out we're just gonna close pretty rude service. I'm sure the ownership would like to know that they turned out about $300 worth of oil changes. read more

They got the job done in about 30 minutes. The only reason I'm not rating them 5 stars is that I think their prices are a little high. That being said - they did a good job. My oil was changed and my tires were rotated. I also had them update my emissions. Easy enough. A bit of advice: ALWAYS use Groupon. If you aren't sure which Groupon to buy, ask them and they will tell you. The service technician was happy to help. It saved me $41.98. Can't go wrong there! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION, possibly any JiffyLube. I had tires ordered and delivered to this location. The work took 2+ hours to change 4 tires. Next day drove my car Into work and 3 of my tires were flat . All the valve stems were cut from the inside. The person who did the work did not know what they were doing. Someone at the store helped me to remedy the situation and said the sidewalks looked good. Today I had a nail in my tire that I took to get fixed by a competitor. They called to tell me they would not repair the tire because the sidewalls were deteriorating in the wheel. This is due to the issues I had months ago with the jiffylube service. Drove down from Minnesota in March needed an oil change. Technician did not know how to locate oil filter on Toyota Tundra had to tell them that it was located under skid plate. After driving home saw nice puddle of oil under vehicle. Did not replace oil drain plug washer or put o-ring gasket on oil filter in proper position and also notice that all 3 of the front screws for the skid plate were not reinstalled. So oil leaked from drain plug and oil filter. I was the only one there at the time and it still took them almost an hour to screw everything up. There were three techs trying to figure out how to do all of this one of them was the manager. Worst experience ever for a simple oil change. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!!!!!!! If I could rate this a 0 I would.. I drove up to this location for a SIMPLE OIL CHANGE and waited for an employee to come out and greet me... however after a few minutes no one ever came. The lights were off inside the garage but the garage doors were open (and this was at 12:30 in the afternoon). So I went to the front desk where all the lights were off and a single employee sitting in the dark on his phone. When I walked in he gave me a look like "why are you here" and waited for me to say why I was there. He looked at me as if I was stupid asking for an oil change. Needless to say I walked out even before getting a consultation on a SIMPLE OIL CHANGE. I tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt since it has such NASTY and TERRIBLE reviews, but I quickly realized why people were so negative about this location. I am currently writing this as I'm sitting in a Jiffy Lube in SANDY SPRINGS... where I am being treated like a queen. I got a coupon for this place off of Groupon. I arrived to a building with paint flaking off the walls, pavement with potholes and a genuinely dilapidated appearance. Once in the waiting room, my shoes stuck to the floor covered with grime, there were electrical appliances hanging off the walls, the wifi didn't work and the occasional F-bomb amongst the employees gave the impression of less than stellar establishment. I wondered about the quality of my oil change given all this and my concern was cemented when the "windshield treatment" that was part of my Groupon ended up being Rain-X (nothing wrong with that) wiped on with paper towel on dirty glass. As i left, all my windows were hazed over because they didn't even bother to buff off the Rain-X which ya kinda half to do. Given this, I wonder about the quality and professionalism of my simple oil change. I will not go back here for an oil change. read more

My visit went really well. Everyone was very kind and the woman at the front counter was very nice and helpful. I saw a sign up at the front about reviews and was planning to come on here as soon as I got home and leave an amazing review! Everyone was nice, and the oil change was very quick with hardly any wait. I didn't have some key thing to do my tire rotation so she put on my notes i could have a free one next time i come back when i get the key (lug nut something, not sure what its called) overall I left happy and very satisfied with my services. As soon as I got home (Gainesville GA, almost an hour away) I realized my car key was not in my car. I started looking around everywhere that it would have been and still didn't see it anywhere. Its a push to start so I assumed the key had been placed in my center counsel or front seat. Wondering how i drove so far without my key i found my spare in my purse. But the keys that they had also had my apartment key and mailbox key on them. So i'm at my apartment but i dont have my apartment key. I called the store and asked where they would have put it because I cant find it anywhere. She tells me it should be in the cup holder and asks me to wait so she can go ask them if they put it in the car. She comes back and asks me if i can come back and get my key. I wouldn't mind if it was 15 or 20 minutes away, but that would be almost two hours of driving for me after I just drove an hour home. She offers to come to me but then declines because its "too far" so I found somewhere in the middle for us to meet which was still me being generous. Yes, this is not the end of the world. But now I am sitting in a parking lot waiting for someone i have no way to get in contact with and no idea when they'll be here. And i still have a 30 minute drive home. Update: She just got here, very kindly apologized and said next time I come in i will receive a discount. I am not upset about the service/visit. But its one of those small things thats very annoying. Like when someone comes in your room and leaves your door open. It was nice to talk to them but why would you leave the door open? Overall, I would come back and I would recommend this spot to friends and family. But make sure you have your keys before you drive an hour back home. read more

I wish I could give them no stars. We are new to Cumming. Always used the Jiffy Lube location in Alpharetta. On April 3 we went in to have a routine oil change. Charged us $92 and some change. The problem is when we woke up the next morning oil was all over our new driveway of our home. My husband didn't see it when he left at 5 in the am. I called & the person who answered the phone was rude. She said they were opened until 6. My husband showed up after work & they were closed early. The next day he showed up and they redid the oil change. Never offered a discount or a refund due to the damage or inconvenience. A bolt wasn't screwed on. It continued to leak oil. We took it to NTB and confirmed it was still leaking oil due to a missing oil pan plug. Never use this location. Customer service is horrible and clearly they do not know what they are doing. read more

This is the first and last time I will ever go to Jiffy Lube in Cumming. The service I received was absolutely terrible. I was overcharged and did not receive the majority of the services they told me they provided. They told me they inflated my tires but a day or two later, my tire pressure warning light popped up on my dash. When I checked the pressure, it was WAY below what it should have been (Not to mention my valve stem caps were missing when I went to check my tire pressure). The mechanics told me it was right where it should be. I also never received the tire rotation that I should have. I did receive the oil change I went for, but again, I was overcharged. The other things they did wrong were small, but still enough to lose my business. The mechanic told me my windows had been washed, they obviously had not. I was informed that my washer fluid had been topped up, which it had not. I was supposed to have a new sticker placed on my windshield indicating my next oil change but, surprise, it's not there. I will not be going to Jiffy Lube again and I would not recommend this business or it's poor service to anyone. If I could give this business a half-star rating, I would. read more

I was in a huge hurry and I had to have an oil change immediately. They had one technician on duty and zero cars in the stalls. When I went inside there with a customer that they were having trouble running his credit card and the manager said, I'll be with you in a minute sir. After standing around for five minutes I I said can't we at least get him started on my old change and without even looking at me he repeated in a more stern voice, I will be with you in a minute sir. Went in early in the morning, met Clifford and Conner. Both did a great job, were kind and considerate. Got in and out in less than 30 minutes and paid a fair price for the services offered. They confirmed with me all the services I wanted and did it all correctly. Overall it was a typical oil change service, no bumps, no issues, and so I'm rating five stars. read more

When I questioned the price, one of the techs said it was because they changed the oil filter too. I almost had to laugh. I've never paid more than $25 for an oil change, oil filter included. Can you give a review worse than 1 star? They tried to tell us that our car took synthetic oil...when we've been using conventional for years. We even had proof that we've been using conventional. Drove in with no wait. Was very concerned because of other reviews here. They performed all services that I requested and I could hear them calling out to each other as they completed the various steps. They even cleaned the windows and vacuumed even though we had just come from the car wash. I also saw them torque the lug nuts with a torque wrench. In and out in less than 20 mins. I figured i had lost connection with them on my phone so i called again and someone picked up the phone and said "what" in a tone like i pissed them off. I hope this place shuts down. DO NOT GO HERE! I went for a simple oil change. I didn't think there was much they could screw up, but they didn't change the filter like they said, they either didn't properly tighten the the drain plug, or didn't properly replace the seal for it, and they told me my car required synthetic oil (double the price), which it does not. I lost a quart of oil before I noticed the leak at my drain plug, and I can't exactly remove the drain plug to fix the seal without losing more oil. read more

Do not go here! Warning! Warning! Warning! If I could give zero stars I would. Read the reviews before you take your car to this disaster. I never take time to post complaints but this place is so bad I would not let this go. Spent $94 on an oil change that leaked. I am an idiot for spending that much on an oil change with synthetic oil. It took 30 minutes just to put the bolts back on my oil pan. I was suspicious of the workmanship so I took my car to the cumming Ford dealership and they confirmed my car was leaking oil because Jiffy Lube could not even put the oil filter in correctly. Read the other 7 reviews that state how incompetent these folks are. Never again will I use Jiffy Lube. For $94 you would expect better, they did not even vacuum my car out or put the right air pressure in my tires. What an incompetent staff that takes no pride in their work. They do not care and just want to milk you for as many services as possible and take advantage of you. I saw this in action as they try to upsale every customer that comes in the door for services they do not need. Do not go here or you will be sorry like I am. They tried to ruin my transmission!!! They were a nightmare to work with! Their corporate office called me a bully! I had to have another garage fix their mistakes. I will never use Jiffy Lube again!! I had my transmission fluid flushed at this location. As soon as I pulled out, my transmission started making noises. The noise was very repeatable. The manager and the techs looked at it, but couldn't figure anything out. The manager kept trying to blame it on other engine parts. I took it to another garage (Scott's Auto Center, where I will always take my cars from now on) where they found out that Jiffy Lube didn't put enough fluid, and the WRONG fluid!!! I brought this up with Jiffy Lube, but the manager maintained that they did everything correctly. The Jiffy Lube manager kept telling me that he would let me fill out an incident report, but that he had done me all these favors, and that they're just going to find that the problem wasn't because of their work. I came by to fill out the report, and through the process, I realized that the manager didn't have a clue what transmission I had in my vehicle. We filled out the forms, and the manager kept putting all kinds of things in the comments to make it all sound like all of our conversations happened completely differently than they did. I refused to sign it. I was contacted by their corporate office the next day. After I was able to prove that Jiffy Lube was at fault, we argued about how to handle the situation, and then the Jiffy Lube representative called me a bully!!!! In the end, they paid the other garage to re-flush the transmission. The same noise hasn't happened again since then. But I've had some other random transmission problems that I've never had before, but aren't repeatable. I probably can't prove is Jiffy Lube's fault. read more

Do not go here! They are completely incompetent. I went in for an oil change, tire rotation, and coolant flush. I got down the road just a bit and noticed a thumping from a back tire. Turned around and had them check...they forgot to tighten lugs! They tried to play it off as being something more complicated than a dumb mistake, but fixed it and I drove home. The next day I thought better of it and checked my fluids....coolant reservoir was empty! I called and chewed them out. No apology...offered to top off my coolant. I laughed... DO NOT GO TO THIS JIFFY LUBE - COMPLETE RIP OFF. I purchased a $36 groupon for a tire rotation, oil change, and Rain-X (55%) off. Somehow when I went to pay, I had to pay $15 more dollars. So I got an $85 dollar value???? I think not! Who pays $85 for an oil change and tire rotation? Prior to me paying, they also tried to convince me that my car only took premium oil which would be another $30 and special wiper blades which would be another $50. When they printed my receipt, it was itemized but they purposely printed it funky so it's nearly impossible to read. I know they charged me several random dollars including a $1 for a coupon book that I did not ask for! This is shady business and whoever runs this plays should be ashamed of the way customers are treated. I WILL NEVER BE BACK - and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T GO EITHER. You can get all of this done at Scotts Auto for $30 and your 4th oil change is free plus you get top notch service. read more

I had my car serviced for an oil change and tire rotation at Jiffy Lube in Cumming, Ga on May 9th, 2016. I will NEVER return. They delivered extremely poor quality of work and the technicians were very rude and careless. The first problem I encountered was when I noticed that my valve stem caps were not tightened and one was missing. I returned to Jiffy Lube and they replaced the missing valve cap. Soon after I noticed that my front, passenger wheel only had 4/5 lug nuts and was missing the locking lug nut. I then took my car to my regular mechanic to see if any further damage was caused by their negligence and was told the stud for the locking lug nut had been stripped and would cost $100 to fix, not including replacing the locking lug nut set. When I called Jiffy Lube to get everything replaced I was told by the receptionist that a store manager would be in touch with me the next day. No one contacted me. When I returned to the store I was told by the same receptionist to come back the next day when a store manager would be there. So I did, only to be told by the assistant manager to come back the following day because it wasn't his problem and I would have to contact the manufacturer if I wanted a new locking lug nut, at my expense. When I asked to speak with a store manager I was told he was too busy to talk with me. When I walked out to my car a technician was putting on a regular lug nut, without my consent, and told me I was all set. I told him that I wanted a new locking lug nut to replace the one they had lost as well as a new stud to replace the one they had stripped. He said he would do so. Shortly after, I was approached by the receptionist who told me that they had gone "above and beyond" to replace the regular lug nut and there was nothing else they could do. Jiffy Lube damaged my car, lost multiple parts, and delivered poor customer service. It has cost me more time, money and patience than if I had just gone to my regular mechanic in the first place. I will never make the same mistake again and I will never allow Jiffy Lube to service any of my vehicles in the future. read more
